No problem! Were there any new additions or changes from the weekend thread. I haven't had time to read through it yet. Today is about to get hectic and I probably won't get a chance to read through it before my hour time limit to make changes is up.

Good morning ladies.

Boy, am I glad the weekend is over. We went to Iowa to visit family and now my sleep schedule is off kilter and I have zero appetite for anything. I don't feel sick, but nothing sounds good at all and I'm not hungry either. Now I've got to try and get myself back on schedule to go in for a midnight tomorrow night, and my first doctor's appointment is tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully I can get a good nap in tomorrow evening so I don't get sleepy overnite. I don't want to have more than my one cup of coffee...but I guess two that one night won't kill me if I really need it to get through. As blah as I'm feeling I'm still suprised I haven't gotten sick feeling yet. I guess I'll cross my fingers and toes and hope that the trend continues.

I woke up with chills and terrible body aches this morning. It seems to be passing but I feel like sh*t....It seems like all I can do is get sick lately, after more than 6 months without a cold. Back to bed for me.

Besides work, life has been very hectic for the last couple of weeks. My DH's sister is dying of cancer. I've spent the last two weekends at her house helping to take care of her. She isn't married and doesn't have children. Basically DH is her last relative and she wants to pass at home. She has some really nice neighbors who have been helping us, and of course Hospice is in. Some days I forget I'm even pregnant because I've been so focused on her. It is really sad, but it looks like it will be coming to an end soon. I just really want her suffering to end.

So, if I go missing, you guys will know where I am. Keep us in your .

I get a little queasy in th AM, and have been craving peanut butter sandwiches on WHITE (Carb Action) bread. I used to hate white bread!

Angela - My next appt is this Thursday, and I will be sure to have them do an internal (if they don't, they're nuts!). Funny, I normally get a very bad cramp first thing in the morning, but nothing today. I am still very crabby. BH ctxs maybe 3x a day at the most. Still seeing very tiny amounts of the blob... I did read that it could be weeks before anything happens, which I am very OK with. I still have a ton of stuff I have to do around the house, and I'm running out of weekends!! Not to mention he won't be considered full term for another 2 weeks!

We had a BUSY weekend. We went camping and went and picked wild mushrooms. It was a lot of hiking and boy, was I worn out! I'm still sore... I didn't feel spectacular, I was nausous a lot. I think that had to do with not getting a lot of good sleep. I took a nice nap yesterday and felt better.

I can't believe my next appointment is in 2 weeks! I can't wait!!!!!

Sounds like a fun camping trip Sarah, hope you catch up on your sleep. That is all I did on Saturday. I lay down in the new lazy-boy with full intentions of reading and I ended up snoozing for about two hours. It was great!!!

I'm sure you can have two cups of coffee Amy. In my first trimester even the smell of coffee made me ill. Now I've got no problem with coffee, I even crave it. Do you think these midnight shift are going to become a problem as you progress in your pregnancy?

I'm so sorry to hear about your sister-in-law Kara? Is she quite young (not that you are ever old-enough). My father died at home a few years ago at the age of 51 from pancreatic cancer. It was horrible. In fact Friday, the 18th is the anniversary of his death. It is always a tough day for my mother and I.

Hi to everyone else.

I had a uneventful doctors appointment today. My bp is great and I gained 3 pounds- That make my weight gain at 4 pounds so far- Not bad for me being 24 weeks. I just hope I don't have a large gain this month- I am really really trying to be good!!!!
Next month will be my glucose test and my rogane(sp?) shot since I am rh negative.

My cousin's wife was induced this morning. I visited her after my doctors appoinment but her contractions had just started- I am so excited to meet her new baby- She has a daughter close to Jessica's age so we will have childern close in age.

I have my u/s tomorrow and I am so excited!!!!! Can't wait to find out what this jelly bean is!

Thanks everybody for your condolensces. I felt really bad about "dumping" on the thread, but it really has been weighing on my mind so much.

Aphexacid~She is 52, so I would still consider her rather young to pass away. I can relate on the situation being horrible. It is hard to watch her decline knowing I can't do a thing for her except to make her comfortable.

Kristen~4lbs in 24 weeks!!! That is awesome and I am definitely jealous. I wish I could be doing better in the eating department, but I can only handle one thing at a time right now.

Tracy~Congrats!!! I just love the pics of your DH and baby!!

Sarah~I hope your soreness is gone soon.

I know! Although, Chris with twins and Angela with a history of early labor, I think it's a toss up at this point. Knowing my luck, I'll be 2 weeks overdue!

I feel the same way about how time flies when you look back, but it just seems to drag other days. In the 3rd trim, there's really nothing to look forward to (like the big u/s and such), so the time seemed to go a little quicker because I'm not counting days anymore. Now, I'm counting days again, so it's dragging...

Hi Everyone -

Had a great weekend!!!! Madison and I had great time visiting with everyone! My friend looks so cute and the perfect little belly! My tummy is bigger than hers, but I am a heavier than her. We took pictures together, so I need to get DH to download them to the computer. It was so good to see my mom there since it had been a couple of weeks. Madison was so excited to see her Nana! I did get a couple of presents as well!!!!

DH left for Chicago early yesterday, so Madison and I missed him by a couple of hours. He comes home Wednesday night, so it is a girls couple of days! We certainly both miss him though!

Jen - So sorry about your SIL! Please take care of yourself as well!

Thininmex - Sorry you are not feeling well. I am pretty stuffed up today and have been coughing. I think it was the change in weather from the weekend!

FluffiB - Wow, before you know it your little bundle of joy will be here! It is amazing how quickly it has gone by. I can't believe I have 10 weeks or so. When I talked to my DR last Thursday, looks like we will induce again at 38 weeks so Aug. 16 or so. I go for a U/S on the 21st and we will have a better idea of how much the baby weighs. I am measuring 3 weeks ahead of schedule.

MadameX - There isn't a menu that my dr. has me follow, she just said to watch my carb intake and cut out the sugar. Basically, this is what I eat:

B - Piece of LC Toast with Egg Salad
S - Handful of Peanuts
L - Leftovers from dinner (normally chicken, veggie and salad)
S - String Cheese
D - Some type of grilled meat, veggie and salad
S - LC Ice Cream Bar
Lots of Water

Mrs. Sarah - Sounds like a fun time with DH. I sure miss camping out. We went last summer, but don't think we will be making it this year. DD loves to go!!!

Hi Darlene, when I first started atkins, I didn't get my period the first month becuase I lost a lot of weight. When I called the center, they told me it was common not to get it occassionaly because of the weight loss.

Viki - I stole my siggy from Jefinner I think ( ) Just copy and paste it and put it into your siggy. You can use whatever colors you want. Then, just update it every week. That's what I do.
