getting pregnant after the depo shot??

how long did it take YOU to get pregnant after going off the depo shot??

i've been on for six months and now hubby really wants another baby!

just looking for actual experiences.

I got pregnant on it, so I cant be much help.
But realisticly it takes time for it to get out of your system sometimes a year.

If you have only been on depo for 6 months though it shouldnt take long maybe 4 or 5 months

I took it once and it took 18 months for my cycle to return to normal. It sometimes takes a while with some people, but it DOES return.

One cousin took 3 months, another cousin took 8 months.

I got pregnant immediately after my last shot wore off, so 3 months after my shot. Now I can't get preggie anymore (tubal) after my last birth 8 years ago. But I wound up with another DD anyway (irresponsible sister got pregnant, we adopted). We wouldn't trade any of them for anything in the world. Just trying to say, you never know what's going to happen in life.

Good luck getting pregnant!

It took 15 months. Granted, I didn't try for about nine.

The Depo shot was so bad for me, I hated it.

After going off it, I got pregnant within the 3 months, but 5 months into my pregnancy, my baby died. Now, they never told me if it did or did not have anything to do with the shot. I never got an answer for that.

Some people have had no problems with it, but I did.

(Not saying this would happen, just my experience.)
