Gonna reply to last night's posts....
Diana - Your kids are ADORABLE!!!! Thanks so much for posting a pic for us!! Heidi - Wow - measuring at 43 weeks!! Are they considering taking Eric early, or will you have to go until the end?? Awesome picture, you look so cute!! Your belly doesn't look bad AT ALL! Mrs. Sarah - WHERE IN THE HELL ARE YOU!?!?! LOL, J/K! Tracy - I have wide hips and a super long torso, so my pelvic cavity is big as well. People can't believe that I'm this far along and still so small. Same thing happened with Mackenzie, but I definitely thought I'd be sticking out farther by now since this is #2. I did show sooner this time, but I'm not poking out a whole lot yet! 3Diva - SUPER glad to hear your BP was normal yesterday!! Good news!! |

Morning Ladies!
HEIDI your baby belly is gorgeous!!! Hope your little guy makes his arrival SOON! SARAH: I'm thinking about you! TRACY: I wanted to tell you that my baby was a *late* kicker/mover too, I really didn't start feeling her till around 24 weeks, other than the occasional flutter. Now it seems she doesn't sit still. LAUREN: Your night sounds like mine, I watched Am.Idol and My Big Fat Fiance too, reality TV just sucks me in. American Idol had me in tears last night I was laughing so hard, you have to wonder what some of those people are thinking! I went to the Dr. yesterday and gained NO weight! WoooHoooo! It was a pretty quick visit, bolld pressure, weight, listened to the heartbeat, measured my belly and told me she'd see me in 2 weeks! I'm measuring right on schedule, not big, not small. Please let this baby be on time, I'm sooooooo anxious to meet her.

Hola Ladies!
I had a busy weekend and had Monday off for MLK day. I've been battleing a cold since Friday night thats been making it hard to sleep, but I'm begining to get over the worst of it I think. I've been having cramping the last couple of weeks. It feels like menstrual cramps, but aren't as steady and don't last as long. I told my doc last time I saw her and she said not to worry unless there was bleeding or anything else. Is this normal? Its pretty annoying especially since I can't take my aleve to get rid of them! Lauren: I too must admit I watched American Idol and My Big Fat Fiance. My husband thought My Big Fat Fiance was hillarious... he was laughing so hard through the whole thing! I loved the belly pics that were posted the last couple of days! Keep em' comin ![]() HI to all the new people I haven't had a chance to say Hi to! ![]() No news from Mrs. Sarah yet?! I scanned over the Monday post and couldn't believe there was NOTHING!!! OK, I'm ready to feel my baby move now. Its about time right? I hope soon! ![]()

Speaking of illness - I had a TERRIBLE headache last night!! I rarely get headaches generally, but usually pop an Aleve when I do and it takes care of them. Now that I'm pregnant, I prefer to suffer through and not take anything, even though my doc gave the okay for tylenol products. Dean rubbed my neck and it helped a lot, but still...
Thank goodness it was gone this morning when I woke up! |

Good Morning!!!
Stacy! Good for you and no weight gain!! I went to the doc yesterday too but I did gain weight and well, let's not talk about it!! I measured 32 weeks and I am 30 weeks...Does anyone know what that means?...dumb me didn't ask and he didn't seem concerned. Could she come early or just be big !? I don't want any complications but if she came mid March instead of end, I would be quite happy!!!!!!!! As the rest of you, I watched American Idol and Big Fat Fiance thingy too..well, I tivo'd that. I am getting ready to go watch it ![]() Morning Diva and Lauren! Sarah--We are waiting!!! Please check in! Laura |

Morning everyone-
I watched American Idol too and some of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. We were all doing the same thing??? I laughed so hard at Am. Idol. I love the heavy set girl with the blue fuzzy top that did Route 66 I almost cracked a rib!!Thanks for the reassurance about not feeling baby move. I feel a flutter or a roll here and there, but again, my pelvic cavity is so big, my belly goes completely flat when I lay down. She's deep down in my back. It's just frustrating. Her placenta is on the back side at least, so I know it isn't muffling the kicks. Thank God for the fetal monitor I have at home. Tigerlilly- even on my 4 ultrasounds though, she was moving so much that we couldn't hardly get a good pic. Maybe her bones just aren't that strong yet????Mrs. Sarah- dying to here from you !! Weren't they going to test her at the doctor's office yesterday if she hadn't started her period?? I hope it's good news! Lauren- I have had a headache for 3 days. I have been taking Tylenol, but don't know why it isn't killing it. Anyone know why we have them so bad when pg? I never get them otherwise. Trisha- sorry about the cramps. Hope they are better soon. You can take Aleve when preggo? I didn't know that. My doctor said Tylenol only. (it's not working) Stacy- you are so lucky! No weight gain. I have already gained 15-17 lbs I totally blame it on my eating. I have no self control. Where oh where is my spine?? If I hit more than 40 lbs gained I am gonna lose it.Anyone having joint and ligament pain at night (at 20 weeks???) I toss and turn all night and wake up feeling like I have been hit by a car. I noticed that when I accidently sleep on my back, when I wake up, my arms are asleep. We also have a waveless waterbed. Guess it's time to go mattress shopping. I have 20 more weeks to go like this. Ugghhh. Have a great day everyone! Tracy |

Lauren & Tracy: Sorry to hear about the headaches. I've had a few really bad ones. They make me feel like a car hit me after they are gone they wear me out so badly! Tylenol doesn't seem to do a thing. I did notice if I put ice on my head it helps numb it some though.

Trisha- sorry read that wrong.
About the only thing that gets rid of mine is sleep. I am starting to suspect the weight and length of my hair may be the problem. Last time I had constant headaches it was my hair. Once I cut it, they went away. |

Buenos Dias Chicas.
Heidi, that is a really big belly. My DS always measured weeks, once even a month, ahead of schedule on ultrasound. He was only 7 lbs 15 oz but his height was off the scale. And his feet were 9 cm long (almost 4 inches). He had one of those ski size babies up under my ribs for the last 3 weeks. With DS I knew the exact date of conception (we only tried once) so I knew my due date was correct. Same thing with this one, it was an accident--we weren't supposed to be trying until next month due to a miscarriage in Nov. Interesting both were conceived on the 23rd day of the month. Lauren, I have a headache too this AM. Got up at 6 AM and did an hour of yoga on an empty stomach. Felt a bit of M/S for the first time too. I feel a lot better since I ate. Diana, your kids are precious!!! Mrs Sarah, where are you!?! Red, you said Quote:
For those of you with poor (or no) health insurance, move to Mexico. My prenatal visits with u/s cost 400 pesos (about $38 US). My DS's was born C-section and it cost about $2000 US for everything. Questions for everybody: How much protein do you eat per day? (Assuming you are past morning sickness).

THININMEX - DANG!!! That is cheap! BTW - I love your before and after shots!
DIANE - Your kids are adorable, but you know that, don't you! HEIDI - 43 weeks... WOW! Poor thing! I love the belly shots though... Oh, about the stretch marks - I'm pretty sure most of us have them, and my daughter has started referring to them as "Miracle Marks" LMAO! (I call them battle scars, but I won't tell her that... LOL!) LAUREN - I don't have bad headahes either, but when I do, I usually make sure I've had plenty of water, and that I've eaten. Sometimes, just having a small cup of coffee along with a liter of water helps me. TRISHA - Do you know what's funny... I haven't taken it, but my dentist prescribed me Naproxen (what Aleve is made of)... I was still too scared to take it, so I just kept taking Tylenol and icing my mouth for the pain. TRACY - With Allison, I always worried that she didn't move enough. I had two women in my extended family who were pregnant around the same time, and both said they felt their baby move earlier. I thought that maybe she wasn't developing correctly or something... SHEESH... I think I might've had the same issue as you... I'm long waisted, so maybe she just had more room to move around, and I couldn't feel it. I dunno. But I do understand the concern. Funny thing... I kept thinking I'd have NO WORRIES, because this was my second pregnancy, but I think my last one was 8 years ago, and I can't remember a lot of the little things that worry me now... LOL! (And your DD is even older than mine, right... Mine just turned 8.) LAURA - I wouldn't at all worry about it, but just ask your doctor or nurse what it means... I've no real clue. I've been measuring on schedule lately, although my U/S had me a week ahead. It's all so darned confusing. STACY - WOO FREAKIN HOO!!!! That's awesome that you've had no weight gain!!! I'm hoping the same thing (I've gained 19 so far at 27 weeks), but I know when I step on the scale at the birthing center, my face will look something like this - ![]() Well... Here's my new avatar... I have two... One has the belly moving up and down (which I think I like better), and then this one, moving side to side. A friend sent them to me, and I died laughing!!! I'll post both of them together in a sec... LOL!

3Diva: glad to hear your blood pressure is normal. Keep an eye on that!
Ms Sarah: WHERE ARE YOU? I hope your absence means you are getting good news at the dr's office. Tracey: They are still pretty small at 20 weeks and there is lots of room to move. Don't worry, you will feel her constantly very soon! Trisha: Don't know about the cramping...could it be stretching of the ligaments or does it feel like period cramps? Looper: my last pregnancy measured two weeks ahead too. She was big for her size and also I am short waisted, I just don't have much room there. Some babies are also really tall or it might just be they were stretching a bit when the doctor measured. A week or two difference either way is normal, no worries. Stacy: WTG on the weight gain! I wish I could say the same. I'm gaining 1-1.5 lbs a week still. It's unnerving to say the least. At least most of it goes to the actual baby at this point! PFGal: sorry to hear about your headaches. That SUCKS. Jenn: Wow your baby is REALLY ACTIVE! lol. Saw your avatar and I had to say that. haha, looks like a volcano in there. Tigerlily

Jennifer: Thanks for providing the comic relief at work with your avatars! lol
Tigerlily: They are more like menstrual cramps I think... I'm not really sure what streching ligaments is supposed to feel like! They're in my lower abdomen, but they aren't as severe as my menstrual cramps and come and go. They aren't constant at all. |

Morning everyone.
Well, I have bad news to report. I went to the Dr. yesterday and my blood draw came back negative. They have no explanation for why I have not had a period. They just told me that sometimes that happens. I'm feeling kind of down and frustrated, but I'm feeling much better today than yesterday. Thank you all for the continued support and prayers! I love you guys. |

Hi everyone,
Just got back from 36 wk apptmt. Dr. said I'm measuring a little small. I feel like I've been worried about hearing that the whole time bc I don't feel like I look near full-term. The baby hasn't dropped yet, so at least I've probably got some time left. They're sending me for an u/s to determine fetal weight. Of course, I'm now totally worried since it's so late in the game (so Laura, sorry I don't know much about this). I'm getting it next Tuesday since that was the first available apptmt. Dr said she wasn't too worried since I'm small anyway, but I can never tell w/them. Anyway, good stories about measuring small would be appreciated now! Sorry to make a big deal out of what's probably a minor issue. Everything else has been great she said - bp, weight, etc. Thanks for listening to me freak out!

Hi Everyone -
Still having a queasy stomach! I ate little tiny meals every 2 hours yesterday, but still feel so icky! I was able to make dinner for the first time in 2 weeks, yes weeks! Poor DH has been cooking for him and DD while I eat cereal. Lauren - Had the same lazy evening. Actually I kept jumping from Fear Factor to AI & Obnoxious Fiance. Diane - Adorable children. Heidi - You look great! Mrs. Sarah - (((((hugs)))))!!!!! Lowcarbinmama - WooHoo on no weight gain. Trishagirl - Hope the cramps subside soon! Looper2 - I was always measuring big with DD. They decided to induce my 2 weeks early because they thought she would be too big. Well, thank goodness they delivered her 2 weeks early because she was 9lbs.7oz. Not saying that your little one is big, just what happened to me!! They originally thought she would be about 8lbs. Tracy2 - I don't think I started feeling DD move alot until around 20 weeks and then man you couldn't stop her. Thininmex - Hi There! My DD had long feet also, but not sure of the exact measurement. Jefinner - Love the avatar!!! MsTigerlily - Hi There! Alessandra - ((((hugs)))). What are you measuring at?? How small did the dr. think your little one is? Have a great day everyone! Wendy |
