Hi Gang
Every time I post to say I am still here, something horrible happens and I end up sick, so prayers that it doesn't happen this time!! Congrats Sylv - when I get the chance to log on here for more than five mins I will check out baby photos, etc. ![]() Hello and welcome to all the new people - blimey, talk about baby boom!! I am doing ok. Had a bad Sinus Headache, which put me out of commission for a week, and at the moment I am suffering from really bad pelvic pain - as soon as I need the bathroom in the slightest it starts to hurt, then gets worse and worse. I am not sleeping because if I sleep deeply, I wake up in excrutiating pain because the pressure has built too long. I have an appt with my Dr next Tuesday, so fingers crossed. DH felt the baby move last week, but not since. He has given up smoking as from Friday evening and yes, he is being a real pain in the butt, but I love him for making the effort. This baby is incredibly active -at the midwife appt last Tuesday she couldn't find the heartbeat, but you could 'hear' it kicking the sonicaid!! It was so funny, because sometimes it sounded like it was taking a run-up to get a good kick in!! LOL Also had some bad news at work last week - the colleague/friend who was pregnant went for her dating scan to be told that the baby had died. It was a major shock, and upset all of us. She is back at work, and we had a chat, but it did blow me away kindof. I wasn't sure whether to post about it here - but who else would understand my guilt at being glad it wasn't me?! Enough from me - God Bless you all, your children, your families and the little ones you carry - we are all truly blessed. Sheree ![]() |

Hi Everyone!
Thanks for all the information about inducing yesterday. I'm not there yet but it was helpful. And Jenn, all I have to say is OUCH!!! Hope that this time goes better!MS is now intermittant, but not nearly as bad. My boobs stopped hurting sometime last week. I can sleep through the night without getting up to pee! This second trimester stuff is great! I'm hoping to hear about a new job in a few days. Have to decide whether or not to tell the interviewer I'm pregnant. I know him (I interned there and he was at our wedding) and he asked me to apply, so I'm hoping it it promising. Its more $, less work, close to where DH works (now our jobs are 1 hr+ apart) and close to my OB's office and the hospital. It would really simplify my life. Well gotta go to work.... Sara

Sheree, I hope your appt goes well. How far along was your friend? Do you know what kind of symptoms she had before she lost?
I woke up at 2:30am as usual. I stayed up and paid some bills. I had a wicked heartburn from eating too late last night. I think M/S is starting. I'm nauseous this morning. I don't want to eat much, so I'm force feeding myself. The only thing that's appealing is citrus fruits. Gotta go to a meeting. Have a wonderful day! |

Hello everyone!
Sheree- I'm sorry to hear about your co worker. I hope you start feeling better. Sinus headaches can be the worse. Sara- good luck on the job. Katie- ms is the worse. I have started to crave pineapples so I know what you mean about fruit. They seem to hold well in my stomach. Yesterday DH stood me up for lunch again. He said he needed to sleep. Imagine that! He works midnights and I wanted him to meet me at 11:00. He could have got off at 6am and slept until 10:30. I was pissed off again. I hope everyone has a great day! |

Hi Ladies!!
Just checking in........My work had a baby shower for me today! It was so nice!! It is kind of early but like you all know--my job is closing down in December and they wanted to do something for me. They gave me my aquarium swing, aquarium bouncer and a leap frog activity gym. I was so surprised!!! They are all so sweet! Sorry, not much time for personals but just wanted to check in. Have a good day!! Laura |

Hi everyone,
Thanks so much for all your good wishes and compliments, yep, I'm a proud mama! Just a word about the evening primrose oil... I used it only 3 days before my labor started. Don't know if it had anything to do with it, but I'm sure it didn't hurt. Per my midwife's instructions, I inserted 2 per night as close as possible to the cervix, and took 4 per day orally. Gotta catch a nap now. Hope you're all doing great! Sylvie |

But he is a man and can handle those things. Laura- sounds like you work with a great group of people. How exciting. Slyv- what is primose oil? Thanks ladies I'm going home now! |

CYNTHIA!
Cynthia! I just clicked on your pictures and saw your wedding pix. You look beautiful! I am glad you are feeling better.
Hey, I have question for you. It looks like you have stepchildren or children or at least kids around that have really curly hair. My daughter is mixed (her dad is Puerto Rican) and I am just NOT used to her hair. It is very curly but fine and pretty soft, not coarse. Here is her photo. What on EARTH can I use on her hair to make it easy to comb and keep it from getting frizzy? Is there a styling product or a relaxer or is she too young for that? I am tired of putting it in ponytails but I really don't know how to care for it and her dad is no help at all as of course he just buzzes his hair off! here she is: (sorry photo so big) http://www.tigerlily.net/privatephot...y/PICT0006.jpg And here, in case you're wondering, is a photo of me and her dad with her when she was about 5 months old. http://www.tigerlily.net/privatephotosfamily/mfc2.jpg Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. My oldest daughter has a different dad so her hair is straight as a string like mine and I am TOTALLY lost with curly hair! Tigerlily
