Hello and Good Morning all!

I hope everyone had a terrific and restful weekend. I did absolutely nothing all weekend long.

I only left my house Saturday to go grocery shopping. I didn't go to church on Sunday and for that matter I haven't been in about 4 weeks. My SIL said my pastor is going to call me. I think I'm in trouble.

I just can't seem to get out of the bed anymore. I slept all day Saturday and Sunday. The medicine my OBGYN put me on for nausea makes me so darn sleepy. It works well for sickness but it makes you sleep your whole day away.

Oh well! I hope I start putting on some more pounds now. I had only gained 1 pound at my last appt. on Thursday so I am scared I'm not giving my baby enough nutrients.

Anyways DH is on mandatory 7 days so I have been really bummed lately. I never get to see him anymore. Thursday he called me at work to see how I was doing because Wednesday night I called him at work and told him I was feeling miserable. Well just as he called I was giving my breakfast back to the garbage can so he came and picked me up so I wouldn' t have to drive and then nourished me back to health, well nourished me until I fell asleep.

Okay....I just have one question has anyone else vomited but had to pee at the same time. If I don't sit on the toilet while I'm vomiting I will pee on myself because everytime I vomit I pee without knowing? This is so strange. So my trash can gets cleaned 2 or 3 times a day because I never seem to make it in the bag. LOL

Well I hope everyone has a great Monday!

Take care and God Bless!
Cynthia

Cynthia - (((hugs))) on the fatigue and the morning sickness! Dunno about the incontinece thing. When I have to toss my cookies I would not have enough time to get to the toilet...

I never got dressed yesterday... It was nice to spend a day in my jammies. It snowed, so I walked around in my slippers with a cup of cocoa. Heavenly! I did get some projects done. My back is a little better even tough I think the way I messed it up in the first place was by cutting fabric. I slept flat on my back last night and took some tylenol this morning. My morning sickness came back. I was so hoping that it was gone! but I dont think that it is as bad as it was... so maybe there is hope.

Hope I got everyone's weeks right!

Poor Cynthia!!! That has got to be terrible to have the M/S that badly!!! I sure hope it'll end soon! ((HUGS))

I had a GREAT weekend. Friday night we did our grocery shopping and got that out of the way and also to beat the Saturday/Sunday madness. Saturday I cleaned the entire house top to bottom, it REALLY needed it! I did it slow, though, so it wasn't bad! Saturday night we went to a murder mystery dinner theatre with my parents. It was neat, but not what we expected. Sunday was the BEST! We went to church, came home and got into sweats, and layed around watching football ALL day! Mac and I took a 3 hour nap on the couch, and even afterwards I layed on the couch all evening long! I have a hard time sitting still sometimes, and I'm glad I was able to give my tired body some much needed rest!

Dean is at home sick today - bad cold and what has turned into pinkeye also. He's got an appt. in 45 minutes, so let's hope they drug him up real good! Also, he's been having bad headaches lately so today at 3pm I'm going with him to an MRI. He has had headaches for a while now, but they are worse lately and the 1st meds the dr. tried didn't work, so the MRI is a precaution. I hope he does okay, I've never had one but hear they're no fun. It is partially open, which is good!

Mackenzie is doing really well with her behavior chart, and her attitude at home and at school has been great!! THANK GOD...hahaha! I was at the end of my rope!

Hope everyone is GREAT!

Good morning everyone. Hope you all had a good weekend.

I am a little sleepy today. Having a hard time getting it together this morning. So I am cheating a little with caffeine and drinking some green tea. I got up to pee so many times last night. It was very frustrating. I keep thinking to myself if this is how I feel at 7 months, this next 2 months are going to be hard. I just keep clinging to the reward at the end. A baby. Helps me to keep everything in perspective.

They should have a spa specially designed for Pregnant women. Where you could go and be pampered and massaged weekly, and it should be covered by insurance!! Okay so I am dreaming here, but boy could I go for a day at the spa. Its just hard to justify spending that kind of money when you have a baby on the way.

Well I hope everyone has a great morning. I will try to check in later today. Hopefully after I drink my tea I will be more alert.

Definitely don't double dose on any sort of vitamin. And don't freak out for forgetting a day, it's no big deal! I've forgotten a couple of times, and it's just one of those things. I always try to take mine with dinner, though, and taking them at the same time helps me remember. With BC pills I always took them in the morning, but since I need to eat a decent meal with the prenatals that's not the best time for me to take them. At any rate, don't freak out, it's not like you don't take them most of the time - and everyone forgets things here and there.

Your baby is fine, so never fear! I mean, think of all the tards out there who don't bother to get prenatal care or take any sort of vitamins, and even they end up with healthy babies.

Moms preggo for the 2nd time or more...

Did you carry different when you were pregnant with a boy than a girl? So far I feel like I'm similar to when I was pregant with Mac. Even though I've only gained 5 pounds, my body has changed. I'm more hippy, have some chunk on my upper back legs, and just feel lardy in general, haha!! Same as with Mac! I dunno! Could be another little chicklet in there, or maybe a boy and I'm just carrying the same, who knows! It's still pretty early to tell, but the symptoms I have so far are more like last time - especially where my chunk is, haha!

Sinnrah - I know it's too late but I wouldn't freak out. I forget occasionally too. I think you could take one dose this morning and then the the other late this evening. I dont think you should take a double dose as vitamins can be toxic at high doses. My pack says if you forget a dose to take it as soon as you remember unless it it close to the time of the next dose.. (((HUGS)))

Morning ladies....what a busy thread you had for the weekend and I missed it!!!

Stacy: Cute belly pic! How is the nursery coming in the new house? We want pics !

Sinnrah: I have forgotten my prenatals a couple times. Don't worry about it.

Cynthia: Poor thing. I hope that MS gets better really quickly!!

PFGal: Sounds like a great weekend. Glad Mac is doing better

Hi to those I missed!

We had a nice time at the beach. It was cold though. We are headed back for T-giving. Hope to find some bargains at the outlets down there then. I am only 1/2 way now and already feel out of breath when I walk alot (ie. shopping Sat) and have a hard time getting off the couch--literally--our couch is one of those big cushiony ones and you just sink in it. well, I have to grab the arm rest and pull myself up and out. I can't imagine me in a couple more months.
Feeling kicks every now and then but not alot. My doc said not to worry. I should be feeling them pretty good in a couple weeks. I did have a foot in my rib Friday night I just know it!!! and it wouldn't move....very weird feeling but glad to know he/she is there.

Awesome!!! I can't wait to feel the baby!! Sometimes I think I do, but I'm not SURE of it yet. I remember with Mac sitting at the computer table doing homework and watching my belly ripple...wicked!!

Sinnrah, don't worry about it. I only took mine occasionally during the first trimester because they made we want to hurl. One day isn't going to hurt anything!

Cyn, I FEEL for you so bad. I HATE the morning sickness part, hate it, hate it, hate it. So glad it's over. Luckily, I never throw up just feel random waves of nausea, hunger and exhaustion for about 8 weeks. Which was bad enough. Have you tried the relief band? www.reliefband.com - I CANNOT recommend this highly enough. I had a friend who used it during her chemotherapy for breast cancer and she didn't throw up once. It really works!

PFGal...you know there might be a difference. I seem to be more "out in front" this time. See, with my girls I seemed to get a huge fat face and some back fat and arm chub and that seems to have stayed away so far this time. But maybe it's still coming later since I'm only 23 weeks along now. But one difference is: this boy is WAY more active than the girls. Lots of movement, all day, all night. WAY more, which is kinda scary. Future kickboxer in there or something.

Just found out today another girl in my nursing class is pregnant and due in July (we graduate in May). There are only 36 students in each class and three girls got pg over the summer (me included) but only one came back (that was me) so this is our 4th girl to get pregnant out of 36! Pretty high odds, wonder if it's somehow contagious! Anyway, it will be nice to have someone else to gestate with IRL.

Just a quick check in before I try to get some sleep for tonight.

I HAVE THE WORST INDIGESTION/HEARTBURN EVER! I was home from work last night and woke up at 3am. I've been up ever since burping away ... painful burps and my chest area is burning. Ugh. I'm trying some peppermint right now to see if that helps. My sister said to also try plain bread so it can absorb the acid. Ugh.

I'll be back on tonight to tell ya'll about my weekend. It was good but nothing spectacular thanks to my job. I hate being the boss sometimes.

Stacy - I just have to tell you that your belly is SO DARN CUTE! I love bellies. Mine is too ... umm ... stretched to share bare. Maybe one day I'll be brave and do it.

Lauren - I'm carrying different this time. With Kayla I carried very high and all around but with this one I'm sticking out farther and I'm much much lower. I have lots of pressure down below too because he's so low. Oy! That's great that you got so much done this weekend and got to bum around on Sunday. I love relaxing.

Sinnrah - Girl, one day isn't going to do anything. Please don't worry. I forget a lot actually and I really need to be better about that. I never missed a day with Kayla and I credit that for her being so healthy. I REALLY need to get my act together. I just forget. Would they keep me awake if I took them at bedtime? This schedule really makes things hard.

Okay, Kayla is trying to help me type here so I better get going before she deletes my post. I'll be back tonight from work. Have a great day everyone!

Oh, and I got my "diet" in the mail on Saturday. My doc wants me to consume 250 grams of carbs a day minimun. Yikes! The prescription wasn't there so maybe I misunderstood and he was just prescribing me a diet. Oh well. I guess I can forget about not gaining anything over the next few days. I'm gonna take my test on Wednesday ... wish me luck!

Hello again!

Sarajewel- I just wanted to tell you that it's okay to be lazy and stay in your pjs all day. I do it almost every weekend. LOL

Tigerlily- thanks for the advice I'm going to check it out. At this point I have nothing to loose.

Lauren- I'm glad Mac is doing so wonderful on her progress behavior chart. I'm sure it is making things alot easier in your household.

Laura- the beach? Oh how wonderful. My brother is stationed in Virginia Beach and I go see him quite often. I love the beach. As a matter of fact when we went on our honeymoon to Cancun my DH had to bribe me to leave the beach before I would go ... well let's just say try to make a baby. LOL

Heidi- Don't worry too much about the carbs. Heck I eat that sometimes in a day. I cannot stomach anything Atkins friendly at all.

Misbada - sign me up for that spa. Oh that would be so nice right now. I could use some pampering. I love your idea. I think it should be mandatory for insurance companies to pay for it.

Well to anyone I missed I hope your day is pleasant!

STACY!!! - Your belly is SOOO cute!

HEIDI - I dunno about 250 grams per day... YIKES! My body would go nuts. Oh wait, it already does... LOL! Either way, I'm praying that you don't have GD... Poor thing.

CYNTHIA - I've done that before. I don't have much advice, but I have lots of sympathy! That just sucks!

SARA - Sorry about the sickness, but I bet it was nice to lounge around for a while. I think that's what I may do tonight. I have to throw some chicken in the oven (I don't want it to go bad, and it just might before tomorrow night), but other than that, I'm going to bed early...

LAUREN - Glad to hear Mackenzie's attitude is better. They all go through these stages, don't they?

MISBADU - Could you pass some of that Green Tea my way? LOL! I'm dragging too. I feel for you. I look forward to/dread my later months. It's so cool to see and feel your baby move, and to know that you're closer to seeing his or her little face, but man it's uncomfortable.

SINNRAH - I forgot my pill many times when I was pregnant with Allison, and she's one of the healthiest kids I know. I also know how easily freaked out you can be with your first. I was paranoid about EVERYTHING!!!

TIGERLILY - It is nice to have someone to gripe/brag/talk to, who knows exactly what you're going through...

LAURA - I can't wait to feel my little one moving around. I feel the baby now, but not very much... Still too tiny.

I'm okay, just tired. I didn't sleep too well last night, but I'm going to go to bed early tonight. I must look like hell too... I was already told that I looked like I needed to go home. Turdhead.

Cyn: if you do decide to get one, you can also get them pretty cheap at drugstore.com and also check ebay.com. I think I paid $60 for mine and it was worth EVERY PENNY. I had to work as a nurse's aide when I was 6-11 weeks pregnant - 12 hr shifts full of handling other people's body fluids and it was the ONLY way I could have made it through.

Also, these helped quite a bit: www.preggiepops.com

Good luck.

PFGal - I have definitely noticed a difference. And I'm carrying a boy this time. I gained 65 with DD, only 25 so far, and about 5 weeks left for me! I used Atkins in between, maybe that played a factor.

Sorry not posting everyday, I try. Has anyone seen Summer or heard from her lately?

Tigerlilly - I tried to open the relief band site and only part of it would load - looks like a very interesting product.

Cyn - Have you tried Sea Bands? They are sold at pharmacies for about $10. You wear them on your wrists. I dont think I could function without mine.

25 min till I can legally leave work! I cannot wait to get out of here!

Hi everyone!

Hope it's a happy monday for you all.

I read everyone's posts and it's a busy Monday! I am swamped at work and can't write much today- just wanted to pop in a say hi.

I missed the weekend thread- has Slyv had her baby yet? She's a week overdo now right?

Lauren- glad your little girl is doing better- just a phase prolly Hows the morning sickness? Easing up?

I am still holding my breath and praying I make it out of this first trimester with no M/S. Other than being really really tired, I feel fine. I am having a really hard time finding things to wear, my weight hasn't just stayed in my belly- it's butt and legs too and everything is tight

The mood swings at this point are horrible. I am singing
kum-ba-ya one minute and transforming into instab*tch the next. Especially after a long day at work and being stuck in terrible traffic! There are times I want to kiss everyone I see and then five minutes later, I want to tear their heads off! Ughhh. Is this normal? I can't remember from before. It's been 10 years.
Oh well- hope you all have a great night- back later!

Tracy

Tracy - I think it's VERY normal... As a matter of fact, we've talked to (i.e. WARNED) the kids about it. I try and try and try to control my moods, but sometimes, I feel like I'm posessed. My bad moods are usually day long bad moods. Once I get a good night's sleep, I'm a lot better.

Oh Lauren... I forgot to answer your question... I'm not sure if I'm carrying this one any different, but my cravings are different. I could live off cheese, pickles, eggs and veggies. Sweets just don't do it for me. When I was pregnant with Allison, I actually craved brown sugar. I would eat a spoonful and let it dissolve in my mouth. Maybe this time I am having a boy... Hmmm. The midwife seems to think so anyway.
