Hey girls!

I hope everyone had a good Halloween. My daughtger had a blast trick-or-treating. She wouldn't hand over her candy for nothing! Her little pumpkin was getting heavy but she wouldn't let us hold it. We had quite a struggle at bedtime trying to pry it away from her. We took her to the pumpkin patch yesterday morning too and she didn't seem to have that great of a time. It was mainly for picture sake and we didn't even really get any good pictures. Oh well, maybe next year.

I've been a carb wh0re these past few days. I ate 2 bowls of spaghetti for dinner Thursday night and 1 bowl last night. Not to forget the fast food I've been shoving my face with too! Ugh. Oh well. I've decided to not worry so much about it. Some days I'm really good and others I just seem to blow it. I lost the weight after the last pregnancy and I can do it this time too.

Tigerlily - Your belly pic is great! You look beautiful and so happy to be preggers. I meant to comment on your daughter too ... she's adorable!!

Tracy - Your belly pic is really cute. It's so teeny tiny! You look so pretty too.

Who had the u/s pic? Sorry, my brain is mush right now. Anyway ... congrats on the girl!!!

Sylv - I say you go on November 4th. That's my b-day so it's a good day for her b-day too.

My work situation ... I work in a vet lab as a specimen processing supervisor. I currently work at night (which I sure hope will change once I get back from mat. leave) from about 11pm to 7am and it sucks. My department is running VERY well right now and I just promoted someone so I'm hoping that when I get back from maternity leave, I can go part-time and work during the day. If I have to resign my position then I'll do it but working at night with 2 kids is going to be near impossible with the ages that they are. My DH should be back to work by then (long story) and he won't put up with dealing with them at night, especially if he becomes the breadwinner. I would be happy keeping my position and working something like 6am - 2am or if that's not possible, then I'd be content working from 2pm-6pm part-time. I just hope that whatever happens, I can go to days like normal people. I get 6 weeks short-term disability leave and I'll be taking some vacation time with that so probably a total of 2 months after the baby comes. That just doesn't seem like enough time though.

This baby is going bonkers in my belly! His kicks are starting to hurt a little now. YEOUWCH!

I can't remember anything else and it's lunch time (at 3:30am, LOL) so I gotta go. Be back later ...

Heidi: Ooh, nights are tough. I'm contemplating working nights (maybe 2 12 hr shifts from 7pm-7am) because then I get five days (and nights) off, but I don't know if I can stand it, I'm so NOT a night person.
