Any Ladies have surgical menopause/hysterectomy?

I had a complete hystetectomy in May. I was wondering if anyone else has had this, and how their loss is affected. Thanks.

hi roro, I had one in December. before my surgery I gained do to hormone problems. after I had a hard time getting back on plan. gained do to eating bad. when I was sticking to it I'd lose ok. I have stuck to it well now for over a month. have lost 13 pounds (as of monday), may be more now. and my pants are getting baggy allready. (I just bought some the day before school started so I'd have enough clothes for work this year. ). I am NOT on any hormone therapy right now. most the time I do fine. the worst is I do get hot flashes occasionally. not all day or anything, though. so trying to hold off letting doc know about it till I lose some more weight. my next appt. with him is in dec. anyway so will discuss it then.

(this needs to be away from the computer )
