Howdy gals!! It's MIGHTY late/early (depending on how ya look at it....you choose, haha!), but I'm STILL up! Rag painted the living room tonight and I must say that it looks AWESOME!! I have off tomorrow and can sleep in a bit, otherwise I'd have long since been in bed.
Tracy - Felt nice to add you to the official list!! You are 5 weeks, right? I think so, but let me know if I hosed it up! Mrs. Sarah - You are TOTALLY next...it's just a matter of time! Abbymommy - Question - how come you are a week ahead of me, but your due date is later than mine? Do we have your due date or weekage hosed up? Or what? LOL! ![]() No DDs this weekend as they are with their daddy, so lots of sleep for me. Unfortunately also need to have another conversation with DH about the smoking situation - apart from feeling really really lonely because I can't hug him, etc. I am starting to get a little peeved that I have to keep reminding him how it makes me feel. I know it's not him suffering through it, so it's difficult to remember, but sometimes he comes back into the living room after having a cig and sits next to me and it's almost hurl time there and then! I feel so bad constantly moving away from him, or asking him to move, but there is no other way. This is causing such a strain on our relationship, and we have another 28 weeks to go Combine that with the problems with are having with SD and sometimes I wonder how we survive at all Work is more fun today - Friday has that effect on me! Hope everyone is enjoying their day - how many weeks is it until Christmas?! ![]() |

Hi everyone,
Lauren- it is sooo cool to see my name with a due date beside it!! I have only been lurking here for oh..... 4 months I will take another EPT in the morning- just to be on the safe side since I have one and it's collecting dust. lolWhen I got home from work yesterday my husband had a dozen roses on the counter with a card that was really really sweet. Inside he had written that he never imagined he could be any happier since being married, until today. He also wrote that I am his whole life and he will be by my side every second of this adventure. Ok, I cried yall. It takes a lot, but he put a lot of feeling into that. It landed him a huge hug and kiss. I am so glad to have such a supportive and enthusiastic partner! So- we haven't told our two little girls yet. Nor mom, dad, my brothers, his mom or my grandparents who have all been sitting on edge for months. So, tomorrow night they are all meeting us at Ruby Tuesday's for a "casual" dinner. My hubby wrote a poem yesterday that ends in " we are having a baby!!" made copies on stationary and we plan to slip them into all the menus at our table. Then just wait. My mom will squele then cry. The others.. well, I don't know yet. My girls will be elated. I will have a full update on Mon. BTW- how far do you need to be before you can have a vaginal U/S? My last TOM was 09/07. Have a wonderful day everyone- be back later |

Tracy - It sounds so strange but I truly feel 'part of' your pregnancy! Having spent the last few weeks sending baby dust and praying for (+) it was a lovely feeling this morning to catch up and see your name in the list with a due date!!! Your DH sounds really lovely, and I like the way you are planning on telling people

This is going to sound really odd, but I probably 'talk' to you guys more about how I feel than anyone in 'reality'. You know more about me and DH, about the baby and everything - bizarre to think I will probably never meet you and we are 100s of miles away from each other! Thank God for the internet!

Good Morning ladies,
I got to see my hubby for a little while last night and he will be back today for lunch. But then off for Navy Days..woo hoo *snicker* No I am not disgruntle...rofl.I am so freaking tired. I dont think i am going to get any of that second trimester energy I hear everyone talking about. But that is thanks to my low iron count. I woke up terribly dizzy but I am feeling better now. My appetite is way down. I am eating only one big meal a day plus my snacks(fruits and rice cakes) But still taking my prenatals faithfully. I dont know why my appetite has gone away....is that normal w/ pregnancy? Anyhoo.. Hello to all..I am babbling again...talk to you all soon. *smoochie*

Good morning everyone!
Lauren, I think my due date is actually 5/30/04 like yours since I had my last period on 8/21 and ovulated on day 17 instead of 14 I think The reason I have 6/2 is because my doctor's little wheel said that, so I went with it since it will be on my medical chart and all. As far as the weeks, I have no idea! I know I will be 8 weeks on Sunday. FertilityFriend says I am due 5/30 , so does every other online due date calculator I can find - either 5/30 or 5/29. So that is probably right but a few more days won't hurt me! I am coming down witha yukky cold and the queasiness is bad today! Ah, the price we pay I go to the doctor next week, Lauren, but I don't get an ultrasound until 18-20 weeks unless something is wrong.

Ok- the constipation thing, I have been completely laxative dependant for 5 years. And they don't work half the time. I drink 1 cup of decaf coffee every morning, eat fruits and veggies everyday (including lots of green, leafy ones) and drink at least 64 oz of water a day. Sometimes I will take psyllium for 3 or 4 days before I will go
Last night I had to break down and take 1 ex-lax. Things moved this morning after gut wrenching cramps for 2 hours! What am I gonna do? I can't take exlax?????!!!! |

Tracy-the list my doctor gave me said you can take Milk of Magnesia which works really well. But dont use it all the time. NO MORE ExLAX..LOL...and I eat a lot of fiber plus drink a regular cup of coffee every morning which helps. I bought metamucil wafers which help too. I had a real problem w/ that in my first trimester but since I ncrease my fiber and drink more water...it has been alright. I go at least once a day.
Are you going to a Civilian doctor? And if you can get an ultrasound let me know how you managed it ok? Cause Tricare doesnt pay for them..I wanna know what you say to get one. ok? Oh and another thing you cant eat are prunes, and/or drink prune juice...which I hate but I do eat prunes. Good Luck Sweetie.. Here is an updated picture of me and Hubby ![]() |

Awww, what a nic pic of you two. As long as you use the base hospital and are not referred to a private practice- the U/S are free, or at least they were not that long ago. My husband has a 5 year old and she had one almost every month because they were high risk. He said he hasn't been informed of any changes.
I will try some MOM or raisins. Raisin Bran usually works pretty good- horribly high in carbs!!! |

I will be 20 weeks on Sunday...
And man, in the last two weeks I have gained 3 lbs and am just exploding! My tummy has really popped! And suddenly I feel the baby moving all the time, even if I put my hand on the outside. It's weird how it seems to happen overnight like that.
I HAVE to take a belly pic. I am really bad at taking pictures, I have a digital camera but I almost never use it. Hope everyone else is well. Tigerlily |

Hi All-
I'm still bubbling with happiness about the ultrasound. It was just so cool. I think it will one of those lifetime memories. I think about it now and start to tear up. The only reason they wanted me to have one so early was to confirm my dates. Speaking of that - Lauren, can you move me back to week 8 and change my due date to 5/25/04? Thank you! I confronted someone at work about gossiping about me - I thought I did it nicely but she stormed out - "Your always angry at me!" I have NO IDEA what she is talking about - I thought I was the one who was supposed to be emotional and unreasonable? Sinrah - Nice picture. You are stunning. Mstiger - we all want to see a pic! abby - I think the only practical information there is about due dates is that we can pretty much plan that the baby WONT be born on that day! Quote:

LAUREN - You sound like a busy girl!!!
SHEREE - I understand what you mean... I talk to you girls and the other girls in my challenge group about all sorts of things that nobody else knows. ((((HUGS)))) to you too... I can't imagine what a strain the smoking is putting on your relationship. I grew up with smokers, and the smell still makes me gag. TRACY - What a sweetie you are married to!!! SINNRAH - My appetite comes and goes... Today I feel like a pig, because I've had lunch twice... (It was only a small sandwich each time, but still...) Other days, I worry, because I feel like I haven't eaten ANYTHING... You and your hubby are so cute together!!! TIGERLILY - YES! Belly Pics! SARA - That's too cool... I loved all my ultrasounds with Allison. I have a video too, that I'll still look at from time to time... It's awesome. HOLA SHORTY & LAURA!!! Well, I finally got Hank's ring today... We're sneaking away and doing the deed on Thursday. Well, I don't HAVE it, but I bought it, and it should arrive to me on Wednesday. I have it engraved on the inside... "My soulmate, always and forever, Love WinkyBunny" - Sickening, huh? Yes, that's my pet name... His is StinkyBear. LOL!

It's the doctors not on base that charge. On base, it should be free at least once during your pregnancy, if you have no complications. Any done while having complications are covered.
We have a dr here that does 3D ultrasounds at 14 weeks. He has a success rate of about 95%, telling the sex of your baby at 3.5 months! Several of my friends have used him and he's awesome. Always been right on track with them, never been wrong. He's booked a month in advance and the U/S is $100.00. I will surely be signing up! |

Tracy- I just talked to a guy at the 1-800 information line for Tricare and they dont cover ultrasounds...not even on the base here unless they feel it is a high risk pregnancy. So I am screwed either way...gotta pay for it if I want it..so I will wait until I find out the sex of the baby.
