Sorry I didn't get back to you all yesterday. I've been feeling really wiped out lately. I thought energy was supposed to come back in the second trimester but I still feel like I'm dragging all the time. Ugh.

Thanks for all the compliments on my little Kayla. She's such a stinker lately ... I guess it's just the terrible two's huh?

Farmgirl - Rebekah is gorgeous! That's such a cool idea to have her picture taken with your mom's hands!

Vicky - Sweetie, I'm so sorry for your loss. (((BIG HUGS)))

LessCarbs - Glad you slept so well the other night! How was last night for ya? The peeing has slowed down for me right now, thank goodness.

Sarajewel - I seem to be having meltdowns on a daily basis. I feel so sorry for my DH. He really puts up with a lot from me when I'm pregnant. Poor guy. I hope today is better for you. What do you do for work? I have to write someone up today too but I'm actually looking forward to it. This guy is such a know-it-all and I've been looking for a reason to get rid of him. Another screw up like the one he just did and I just might have enough to can him.

Cyn - Yeah on feeling so great! I hope it's an upward trend from here.

Sylv - How'd the midwife appointment go? Don't worry about the meltdown. I know how you're feeling all too well. You'll be just fine when the big day comes, you'll see. I've been having some BH contractions lately too and they seem to hurt worse than they did with my daughter. Not pleasant. I can't believe your so close either! You're next!!

Jennifer - Aww, I hope you'll post a picture of your little belly soon.

Sinnrah - ((HUGS)) Feeling any better today?

Nicole - It's good to see you back! I understand on obsessing about weight. I'm one of the obsessers. I really need to stop worrying so much and remember that this WOL is what helped me lose weight the first time and I can do it again with even better success this time. I'm not going to obsess so much about it anymore. In fact, I'm having a donut this morning and I'm going to enjoy the heck out of it!

Misbadu - Isn't the fatigue a killer?!? I'll have some chocolate on my donut for you today ... how's that?

Tracy - Girl, will you take a test already!!! I swear you sound pregnant and I'm dying to know! I'm already getting excited!!

Stacy - You look so darn cute! I could only see one picture though. But still, you are a very cute pregnant person.

Morning all-

Heidi - I'm the director of a rural clinic. Its going to be a tough day. I have to finish the disciplinary process today and talk to the county who told us late yesterday that they want to cut our funding by 20%. I thought I was supposed to be minimizing stress?!

I'm still struggling with morning sickness. I have my first ultrasound today. I'm hoping they will confirm a due date and I will know about how much longer the first trimester yuckiness will last.

Good morning all!

Just a quick update... My midwife appointment yielded encouraging news. It seems my little one has begun to drop (as I suspected) and is favorably positioned. Yay! That, paired with the fact that I've been getting BH contractions, are indications that I may not go beyond 40 weeks, although my MW cautioned me that this is a big generalization... but I'll take it!

TRACY! You sound soo pregnant!!! I did that too---I hadn't temped in awhile and that morning I was debating on taking a test, I took my temp and it was higher than I remembered ever.......I can hardly stand it!!!!! How are we ever gonna make it til SUNDAY waiting!!!!

HEIDI - Meltdowns are a normal part of pregnancy, right? LOL! I promise I'll take a belly pic soon. Maybe with something snug over my tummy, because my tummy's still flabby (not big, just stretch marked and flabby)... I'm sure you guys understand. I like my cute tummy in clothes, it's just when I take them off... AAAHHRRR!!!

SYLV - HOW EXCITING!!! You're going to be holding little Rebekah sometime soon!!!!

Oh, I have a confession... I had coffee this morning, and man was it good. *TMI ALERT* I've just been so constipated lately, and even eating my high fiber La Tortilla Factory tortilla wraps haven't helped, and they usually do. The coffee worked though... YAY!

Another very cool thing... I HAVE MY LIBIDO BACK!!! I attacked Hank in the middle of the night. He was quite surprised, but I don't think he minded! LOL! I'm just happy after being a sexless slug during the whole first trimester!

Everything is the same for me. I have been temping again this month and I am not spiking in temp at all!!?? It has just been a constant low this whole month...I don't know what the heck is going on. Perhaps I haven't ovulated yet.

JENNIFER: I confess along with you...I had a diet pepsi this morning---yum....so good!!! first soda in quite awhile. I'll be good again for a while now and I am having problems in the bathroom area too this last week ....any suggestions ? Maybe I should try the coffee---always solved that problem before

Well I only had one meal yesterday...wasnt too hungry. But after I ate I was completely satisified for the rest of the night. My appetite comes and goes. Just like my weight fluctuates 3-6 lbs all the time. LOL

I am waiting to hear from DH but he is so bad about calling me. I know he is on duty right now..but dont know if they are back to refuel or not. I am waiting to see if they are so I can run up to the base and see him.

Anyhoo...I bought four maternity tops yesterday from Walmart and Target...they are pretty cute. And my mom is still going to make me some clothes..which wil save me some money.

Good Morning everyone.

Happy Thursday! I have tomorrow off work and I am going to hit a few of the local garage sales. Its getting towards the end of Garage sale season here so I want to try to get a few things before winter. You can save so much by garage sale shopping. I swear there is baby stuff that has hardly or even never been used. Plus clothes that were sometimes worn once or twice for a quarter or less.

Right now I am trying to find some used furniture. I really hate to spend hundreds of dollars on a crib and changing table etc, when baby's become children and out grow that so fast.

Well I broke down and ate a Hershey's kiss today. I think my baby has a serious chocolate addiction and is passing it on to me! hehe. At least it was just a kiss, it satisfied my craving and I am feeling confident I can make it the rest of the day with out any more chocolate!

Plus tomorrow is the glucose test for me...YUK...gonna have to drink the flat pop I have been hearing so much about. Knowing my sweet tooth these days I will probably like it.

Anyhoo...hope everyone has a great afternoon.

Misbadu- Your mother sounds like she has a lot of good advice for you during pregnancy. I'm sure she's helped you relax and deal better with the weight gain than some others of us have. And don't worry too much about the glucose test...drinking the orange stuff wasn't as bad as I had heard. I did put mine over ice though...the colder the better. And I hear you on the baby furniture. We were lucky that my sister is finished having children so she gave us a ton of baby stuff. It is a lot of money to spend on things that will be outgrown so fast. So we'll have a mix of some older things and some newer things for this baby and that's fine with me. Good luck with the bargain hunting!!

Tracy- Keeping my fingers crossed for you. It sounds like you have all the symptoms...and much patience if you are still holding out for the blood test on Monday! I was one of those women who kept getting negative test after negative test and it was really frustrating because I felt like I was pregnant. I think it took like 2 or 3 weeks to get a positive. Hang in there and let us know how things turn out!

Mrs Sarah- Sounds like you may be a late ovulator. I know they say if you have a 28 day cycle you'll ovulate at 14 days, but that wasn't true for me. I had a regular cycle but didn't ovulate until day 18 or 19. I had to do the temping thing and use the opks to figure that out. Just stick with it and hopefully you'll be able to figure your system out.

Sylv- It sounds like you had all kinds of encouraging news. Do you know if your baby is still facing up? I know you had mentioned that before. I'm just glad that at this point my baby is head down and has been for several weeks. Unless there is a major change at least I know it won't be a breech birth. And the baby seems to be face down.

To everyone else have a good day. Oh, and I can attest to the cup of coffee and constipation thing. One cup can really work wonders, especially if you don't drink coffee on a regular basis!

I am equally friggin excited!! I cannot believe it! I am almost scared to tell anyone for fear one of the purple lines will dissapear while I am looking at it! I called my husband at work and asked him if we could go look at that sleigh crib again this weekend. He said sure, but why? it's only gonna upset you. I said, well.... cupcake, we are gonna need it in about 7.5 months.

Actually, I learned that my baby is facing sideways, which is ideal. They can't really be positioned with their back straight against your belly because of the way their head enters your pelvis. It turns as it exits the birth canal.

OMG you guys I'm having the worst problem with incontinence, ALREADY!! I didn't think this was supposed to happen till later. It's so annoying, dribbling all the time, if I sneeze, laugh, walk to fast. Yuck!! Will it get worse the bigger I get and the more the baby grows?
Anyone else having this problem? I do like 300 kegals a day!!!

STACY - I'm so sorry!!!! Have you tried asking your doc??? I don't want you to be a pee pee pants either... (I totally feel your pain, but man... that made me laugh... sorry... )

First, CONGRATS TRACY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you!

Sarah: I don't know how long you've been temping, so ignore me if this doesn't apply. When I started temping I discovered I was a pretty late ovulator. I also had CM several days, so I never knew when O was coming. Just think of it this way - every low temp day is another day to try!

Really - it doesn't matter when you ovulate, just that you time things right. I have gotten pregnant 3 times now and ovulated on days 29, 21, and 17 (based on temps).

They also say some people show a delayed temp shift. So you can O but temps may not rise for a few days. And there are some people who don't show a temp shift at all, yet get pg! I saw charts like that on FertilityFriend.

I am doing well but I keep craving trashy foods and it is hard for me to stay in control because lots of good things sound gross to me. For some reason all I can think about is choclate peanut butter ice cream and homemade Cinnabons. I got the recipe online, modified it and they are the best ever - haven't eaten one this pg (so far)

I always laugh when people say your body knows what the baby needs by what you crave. Does my baby need cream cheese icing on a homemade Cinnabon?

I am doing Pilates every other day but I am so darn fatigued it is hard to do. I have a great book called Pilates Pregnancy by Mari Winsor (I used to do Winsor Pilates),

It is amazing that during the first trimester there are almost no restrictions on the exercises you can do - it is just like my Winsor Pilates. Seems weird to be doing all this while pregnant but even my doctor said it would be really good for me and the baby.
