Need advice on birth control (ortho micronor)

I started taking ortho micronor about 2 months ago and now I have not lost anything in 3 weeks. I am thinking it may be to this birth control. Has anyone else taken this or do you know something about birth control and not losing weight. My meals are basically the same since the beginning of starting atkins. I was losing at a rate of 2-3 pounds a week and never go over 20 carbs a day. Can someone help me here, I am seriously considering getting off of it now.

Thanks All
Crystal

Hi Luv,
Let me tell you what I know. I think that all birth control pills have the potential to make you gain weight. Ortho micronor has a very low estrogen level in it, so it should be better than most for that. When starting birth control pills, it takes your body 3-4 months to adjust to the hormones, so any side effects that you may be having in those months, usually go away after your body adjusts. Hope this helps
