Hope your day turns out to be decent, Sarajewel. It sucks to be at work when tons of ppl are off for the holiday. I'm at home today, but Dean is at work. I REALLY need to clean here. We finished painting the living room yesterday and got that back in order at least!

Morning Sarajewel and PFGal !! I am at work today too! Ugh. Could have used another day off.

Stacy: Love the house! Were you looking for a new house or did this just come about??? I don't rememeber you mentioning being in the market for a new house. How exciting!

Tracy: Still crossing fingers for you!

Just checking in--back later!

Msbadu,

I am only in week 13. But thanks for putting me in week 14...i sure wish i was.

Sarajewel-well I hope you feel better and get some sleep.

Hey Looper, and PFgal

Well I got bad news today, Dh will be gone for almost two weeks for training exercises and something called Navy Days.

Dont misunderstand. I am proud of him but now I have to wear a total body suit to clean the cat boxes....and I am not really wanting too. but I have no choice..but I am going to call the doc about it and see what they suggest.

And I hate being by myself..it sucks. I am 6 hours from my family and I have no friends other than ladies I talk to on these types of boards. This is not woe is me...just a fact. LOL

Anyhoo...thanks for letting me vent.

(((HUGS))) honey - you are so right, it totally sucks!

Not a bad day on the whole, but would LOVE to jump into bed and go to sleep. Have the DDs (darling daughters) tonight, so have to stay awake at least until their bedtime - I suppose it's not the done thing for your kids to be putting you to bed because you're yawning!!

Sinnrah, I will update your weeks...sorry for the mistake!

As far as your cats litter boxes go, the reason they do not want you to change them yourself is because of possible ingestion. (which I think has got to be rare) I am single, and have 2 cats, so I had to clean my litter boxes myself this whole time. The doc just told me that if you wear gloves when you do it, and always wash your hands immediately after you are fine. Also she said that if you clean them regularly (at least daily) you are less likely to have any issue anyway. The risk is more dangerous with dried cat feces (sorry if TMI). So getting things out of there fresh are less likely to be a problem.

Also if your cats do not go outside then there really is no risk, the risk comes from cats who go outside and may eat rodents and other animals, the toxins come from those animals.

My cats don't go outside, but I still clean them every day, and wear gloves and then wash my hands well after I am done.

Hi All-

Survived another day at work... For some reason I feel itchy today, cant really relax.

PFGal - How on earth did you survive the smell of fresh paint?!

Laura - I think there should be a maternity clause that says we only have to work if we feel like it and get paid either way.

Sinnrah - Is there any way you can go home for a visit or have family come see you?

Msbadu - I give you a ton of credit for doing this as a single person. I'm not far along at all and already I lean on my husband.

LessCarbsMoreMe - Hope you made it through the evening!

I'm feeling pretty good today - not a bunch of nausea like I've been experiencing! I think the key to whipping this is small, frequent meals as soon as I start getting that funky feeling. I'm in meetings Tues. - Thurs. this week at the conference room in my office, and I'm going to make sure to bring snackable items down with me so I don't get caught feeling sick with nothing.

Oh - I told my boss on Wednesday and he was happy for me of course! Now I can tell whoever at work, which is nice!

Made stuffed pork chops for dinner tonight - actually only 15g carbs in each one, and one was plenty to fill me. They turned out great!! I got the recipe from my Wedding Betty Crocker cookbook and they were in-bone chops stuffed with some stuffing, cheese, bacon, onion, and green peppers. Turned out mighty good if I do say so myself! If only I had the time to do meals like that every night!!! Daggone work! Haha!

I am was planning on going down there this weekend but since he wont be in town until the following weekend I hate making two trips. But I am thinking of doing it regardless of how tired it makes me.

PfGal-I dont have any close friends. I do have a girl I know downstairs but we dont have anything in common other than kids. LOL

I go to Church w/ people..but they are all occupied w/ their own lives...

So...it will be me and my cats.

I did buy gloves and a mask to clean the litter box and neither of my cats go outside...so maybe I will be ok...

Keeping my fingers crossed.
