Maternity Clothes

It's happening!!!!!!.....ALREADY!!!!!

I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and my casual clothes are no longer wearable. I don't really like baggy clothes and don't really own many, so since my gut is poking out now none of my casual pants fit!! And - most of my shirts end at the waist, and I feel like a hog-dog wearing them b/c people will probably think I'm chunky instead of pregnant. Anyway, last night and today I wore maternity clothes. At work I probably have a couple more weeks b/c my work clothes are less form fitting and I have more room in them. But, as far as after work, it's maternity from here on out I think. We took Mac and her friend to Six Flags today, and afterwards I went to Motherhood and got a GREAT wardrobe that I'm totally psyched about wearing!! The clothes are super cute and very versatile for a work/casual environment.

Belly Pics

A 5 week - 7 week comparison

I cut the heads off only because I don't look too cute in either of them...LOL! I promise to try to include heads on the shots from now on.

Anyway, I'm really surprised at how much I'm poking out at only 7 weeks!! Can't you see the difference even from the 5th to 7th week - I totally can!?!? I know that you do show sooner with the 2nd baby, but dayum....this is way sooner than I thought!!

PFGal - very cute pics. I dunno how early you are supposed to show, but I know it gets earlier after your first becuse your abs are streached out. Congrats on picking up a wardrobe.
that you like!

I'm finally starting to get some of my energy back - otherwise there would be NO WAY I would be awake this late. But I gotta go log this evening into Fitday and hit the hay. Its 'clean-sheet-night', which is my favorite night of the week...

Lauren - You're belly is adorable! You really have popped in the last 2 weeks! So cute though.

Sara - Glad to hear you have some energy back. Woohoo!

I'm exhausted. I'm going on about 1 hour of sleep. I work nights and I had TONS to do today to prepare for my daughter's b-day party tomorrow so I only took a little nap when she did. I can't believe I'm still awake! On that note, I need to get some sleep. I just wanted to pop in and say hello. I'll be back later ...

Ciao!

Hi Ladies!

We are in the process of moving right now so my weekends are all wrapped up with that. UGH. Will my life ever sllloooowww down?

LAUREN: I can definitely tell that you've popped a little belly. Lookin' good girly.

HEIDI: Great wedding pic. Hope you got some sleep. What are you naming your little guy?

SARA: Agggghhhh clean crisp sheets in the fall are the BEST!! I think I'll go throw mine in the wash right now.

Be right back, I'm off to post a pic of the house we are moving into. It's a GREAT house, 2,600 sq feet, 3 bedrooms, 2 sunrooms, great back yard, & lots of character. We're doing the lease/option to buy deal, it was some family friends that own the house and they are giving us a great deal. BRB.

Cecilia, CONGRATULATIONS!!! You sound so happy and proud, as you should be! I can't wait to see her too! How are you feeling? Wow, I can't believe I'm next in line to give birth! (Although I sure feel like I am...)

Stacy, that house is adorable! Congratulations on hitting the halfway mark and take it easy with the move, it's easy to want to overdo it in those circumstances because there's so much to do.

Lauren, that's such a cute little tummy! I was lucky to have kept my larger sizes jeans and other clothes from my pre-Atkins days and was able to transition in those. It's good to be a packrat sometimes!

Sara, last night was clean sheet night for me too, it's a wonderful feeling isn't it? Except I don't know what's going on with my hips... They don't seem to be handling the extra weight of the baby very well at night anymore and they get so sore that just turning over is painful. And I can barely stand up to go to the bathroom anymore. Luckily they feel much better in the morning. I was enjoying pregnancy and telling people I was in no rush to have it over with, but NOW I'm starting to think differently! Nature is so well thought out sometimes, isn't it?

Hello.

Well we went to my Dads gospel meeting yesterday and had a lot of fun. We went and had mexican food...and then ended up getting home really late. I had to get up early to take DH to work today. Now I am drinking my coffee trying to wake up so I can go to Church...which that process is going really slow. I am so tired. The iron supplements the doc gave me dont seem to be helping me that much.

Anyways..I hope everyone had a good weekend...

Lauren-cute belly. I am ready for mine to poke out...mine is just really hard right now..

Sylv-I bet your ready for your little one to be here...

Heidi-get some sleep sweetie..I am pretty exhausted myself..had a long day yesterday...

lowcarbinmama-love the house...and congrats on 20 weeks......

Sarajewel-up late huh? lol sometimes I am too..and dont know why...

Well I gotta scoot...need to get ready for church...

SYLV: You are SO close to holding your sweet baby now! Really, you could go anytime in the next 2 weeks, right? Do you feel like your belly is "dropping" at all yet? How exciting!!

Morning SINNRAH: Mexican sounds delicious!!

Sunday

Lauren, cute belly! I swear I pop out faster each time. My belly has been the hold out during weight loss so you can just imagine me with 9 kiddos! I had to go out & buy a pair of size 14 cords, stretch ones so hopefully can wear them the first trim. They are low rise so maybe I'll get more use out of them then I think.

Who was it who posted a pic of their new home? I LOVE it! It reminds me of the houses in the neighborhood we used to live in.
Now we just have an ordinary ranch house we rent but hey, it fits us all LOL

I have not gotten back on program yet. Starchy junk is all my tummy can handle so I have to figure out a compromise for now. I am not eating much portion wise though so that will prolly help me to not gain.

I am super nervous though. I am a neurotic preg test taker & have taken some thinking they'd get darker by now. But, they are still light. Dark enough to see & the line shows up right away but I am still nervous.

Morning Mommies!

I slept 10 hours last night... We got woken up by a car alarm, a cat that wanted attention and sometime in the middle of the night I woke up to a horrible wave of nausea... I feel Ok today.

Its another beautiful fall day here. I want to go to a festival and not clean house which is what I need to do. I've been so tired during the week that I havent done a good job following my routines so the place is a pit...

Vicki- When do you have your first OB appointment - I think I had a tiny fear that they would tell me that I wasnt pg after all...

Sylv- Sounds like your body and your psyche are getting ready for delivery.

lowcarbinmama- Horray on halfway! The house looks great - congratulations!

Sinnrah- Mexican sounds great. Hope church was good.

Well, its 11am - do you think I should get dressed?

I really gotta take a belly pic. You guys are all so cute. I am really starting to chunk up, gaining nearly a lb a week lately it seems. I was soooo good the first four months or so but it's getting harder and harder to stay away from sweets.

I hit 19 weeks today, can't wait for 20 weeks - the halfway point. Although realistically I've probably already passed my halfway point as both my girls were between 3-6 weeks early this one probably will be too.

Ugh, poor thing! This happened to me last night. I had Dean go downstairs and get me some ginger-ale and crackers, and I felt much better after that. This nausea stuff is hard to deal with, I"m ready for it to pass!!
