Morning Ladies

Thanks for all your support yesterday, and here's hoping that DH and I will make it past this. Sometimes men are just SO stupid!! He had a long shower, shave, etc last night then what does he do just before he comes to bed? Goes and has a cigarette! Suffice it to say, I went back downstairs for a bit so the smell would fade. MEN grrrrrrrr!!!!!!

Tracy - good luck for today - here's hoping TOM's no-show!

Hello Ladies!! Happy Tuesday!!


I cant believe it I have 9 more weeks left,the doc went ahead and scheduled my c/s, DH is scrambling to get things done,wash all the baby's clothes,pack my bag and the baby's,make sure we have all the camera equipment,we forgot to ask the doc if she allows cams/video cams in the OR but I hope she will let us.


Dilemma: We still dont have a name for him!!For now he's just Bam Bam,LOL!!It was funny.. one day I was watching Emeril and I dunno for some reason when Emeril said Bam Bam, the lil one decided to kick along with his voice Weve been calling him that ever since!

sjoy - wow, you and I are in the same boat 9 weeks and counting,I was gonna opt for a VBAC, but my concern was the long labor that I had with DS,imagine labor for 42 hrs?? and I only dialated to 4cm!! . I really dont wanna go thru that again,I dunno what my chances are with that happening again but Doc says it might be best just to do a repeat c/s..She says I can change my mind,its really up to me..

pfgal - I swear I've seen you before! Perhaps the TV/Movies?? Seriously!!You look like an actress!

jenn - I wish I had an answer to your question,I was induced @ 36 weeks for low amniotic fluid they even had to break my water bag twice ,I labored in the hospital bed,so I really dont know how it feels to be at home/public when it happens.Actually thats my fear now!!Ive been on bedrest since 15 weeks due to preterm contractions/early dialation and Im sooooo scared to death when the actual contractions begin!!I just hope DH makes it in time to get me to the hospital!

looper - My doc recommended the flu shot as well,I've wondered whether or not I still need it since Im cooped up at home on bedrest??It's cute about the doll thing,we've been letting our dog around the baby's nursery for him to get a lil comfortable,I think hes quite aware whats going on and I think hes watched enough baby story,birth day and maternity ward that theres a new baby coming along,its cute when you ask him wheres baby? he tries jumping on my stomach..

misbadu - i hope your feeling much better!how about some homemade chicken soup??ive been craving that lately due to the weather,DH doesnt make it as good as I do,but it will do for now,lol!!Im not quite tired it's actuallly insomnia city for me, my contractions have been getting stronger and its getting a lil harder for me to breathe,other than that I think everything else is okay.

tracy - any news yet?I remember taking my blood test on a saturday and it was negative,but the thing is 3 days later i felt preg and did a urine test and it was positive!Hang in there,keep us posted!

sylv - just like my question to pfgal.. is this site movie central? , you look like the bachelors wife!!!and your preggy belly awwww - priceless !!

I go to my docs appointment in about an hour. I just know he is going to gripe at me about my weight increase.

I am up from 114 to 116. So I gained a couple of lbs w/in a week or so.

I have been terribly hungry but I havent ate junk food. Just regular food.

Oh well this is a losing battle. LOL So I am not going to fight the weight anymore.

I am just going to let nature take is course and close my eyes when I get on the scales. If there is a problem w/ my weight I am sure he will tell me..

Thanks for all the compliments, guys! *blush* If anyone's wondering, that red welt on my belly is a fresh mosquito bite. They loved me this summer! Good thing there were no cases of West Nile virus here.

Welcome and congratulations, Cynthia! For eating, the concensus is to graduate to the maintenance level of Atkins during pregnancy, but don't worry too much if you can't handle the regular routine during the first trimester if you have morning sickness... just eat what you can.

Hi Lauren, Sinrah, Sarah and everyone else.

Today is the expected TOM date and I am scared to test. My cycles are always so weird, I don't want to keep wasting the tests but I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I am thinking I might try again tomorrow morning. If it's (+) I will probably just stand there for 15 min with my mouth gaping open until I burst out into tears.

Anyone think I should give it a couple more days?

Hi Ladies! Just popping in to say hello, we are STILL having network problems at work, my computer is one of 4 that just won't seem to recognize our internet connection. Grrr.... Right now I'm checking in from a co-workers computer, he's in a meeting.

I'm feeling okay, my belly is really going through a growth spurt. Thursday we have our level 2 ultrasound where they will go over the babys anatomy and make sure everything is looking good. I can't wait to see her again. I love ultrasounds, they are amazing.

SYLV: Great picture, you look wonderful and your belly is perfect looking. Not much longer now and you'll be holding your sweet baby. It's amazing, isn't it?

Alrighty I must get back to work, blech. I'll try to check in from home tonight.

You guys got (+) on first day your period was expected? Were any of you irregular? I am always anywhere from 4 days early to 8 days late.

I am still looking at the fact that we used on OPK and found our 2 fertile days- took full advantage. 5 days later- 2 days of light brown spotting, which NEVER happens. 1 week later, CM, tight closed and soft cervix as well as a terrible case of acne which is not real common with me. I tested Sat and Sun and both were negative. This was only month #2 of trying. DH is convinced we are pg but I don't know.

I will post in the morning and let you guys know what I decided.

Yep Tracy-- I tested the day TOM was due...but I was regular.
How many days has it been since you got the + OPK ?? If it has been at least 12 days, I say go for it

The (+) OPK was 16 days ago. Shouldn't I have had a (+) HPT on Sun?

no, not necessarily.....it just depends on your cycle length i think....
You are going to drive yourself crazy wondering!
If I had an extra test, I'd send it to you

LAURA: I miss posting regualarly too, it sucks not having internet at work, but boy am I getting lots of work done.I still need to drop off my nursery pics, I don't have a digital camera yet so it seems to take me forever to finish a roll of film. We registered this past weekend and PBKids and BabiesRUs, whoa that was A LOT of work.
How have you been feeling?

Stacy: I am feeling so much better these days!! I need to take advantage of it and get busy on our nursery--gotta paint!
We started our registry at BBRU too---a little at a time I think we'll go back in a couple weeks--buy the bedding and pick out some more goodies!

Tracy - I didn't test positive until 19 days post conception. I guess I was just slow to built the HCG... My cycles were also bizzare so predicting anything is difficult. Keep your fingers crossed.

I haven't had any morning sickness. However I am up 5 pounds already. At 6 1/2 weeks that seems sort of strange.
