Was it you who said they had "boy vibes"? Oh well, girls are fantastic, I have two myself and think this one is a girl too. We'll see in a few weeks, I'm getting my u/s at 20 weeks.

She is sucking her thumb, how cute!! I have one of my daughter sucking her thumb in utero as well - funny thing, she never sucked it out of the womb though. Congrats!!

Congrats, Stacy!! I LOVE the name Cassidy and it's one of our first choices on girl names! What a great sonogram picture!

Freaked Out
One of my best friends is pregnant (10 weeks) and went to her first dr. appt. yesterday. I called to see how it went and she said it was awful! Apparently she's ectopic, but it's very close to the end of the tube and the doctors are hoping that with some pills they gave her that it'll drop down to where it's supposed to be. They're giving it 2 weeks, and if it doesn't drop she'll get a D & C.
 I'm worried about her, and it's freaked me out!! Now I'm so worried about my own pregnancy! I haven't cramped in a couple of days, and after hearing her news I'm worried like crazy! I'm sure it's silly, but I'm still freaking! I'm dying to feel a cramp or something! |

Stacy - Congratulations! That is an awsome pic.
PFGal - Wow, how awful for your friend! I know what you mean about the worry. My mom and I discussed misscarriages last night - she had 3, I've had one, my grandmother had 4. It makes it hard to be excited. She also brought up the possibility that the child could be allergic to the cats. I dont know what I would do in that case. She says she wont get excited until I'm at 15 weeks - thats 2 months away - seems like forever. I want to be happy but I'm a little scared because of how much it would hurt if something happened. Sara

 PFGal - I'll say a little prayer for your friend. That must be an awful thing to be going through. I had bad pain in the early part of both my pregnancies and they checked for an ectopic pregnany. I thank God that things were okay for me. ((HUGS)) BTW, WELCOME! Sorry I didn't do it sooner. It was a crazy week on here and I got lost. |
