I like "Screaming To Be Heard" by Elizabeth Lee Vliet, and look into someone else--Neal Rouzier, M.D. it's a book about bio-identical hormones and how the thyroid and endocrine system are in direct function with your female sex hormone system.

OH, how could I forget this? "Women Who Run With The Wolves" by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. This book is for the soul, to be read when you want to understand "why" everything seems so rushed.

thank you all so much! I'm just starting this process (both perimenopause and the process of educating myself) and am grateful for the help. Thyroid issues are also being explored as a result of what I've learned from all of you. dooy
