True? Metfromin helps you get pregnant if your PCOS?
Does anyone know anything about this? I have no health insurance and my husband and I are desprately trying to concieve. If I were to see a doc about this, would this be a thing to ask about?
Has anyone else concieved this way? |

I have heard a low carb
diet does help those with PCOS, as by losing weight the pcos symptoms tend to decrease. I have PCOS and it didn't flair up until I gained these last 40 pounds.
Also, you might mention to you DR. that you are thinking of doing low carb with Met. I read in the Atkins book that if you are on any medication for diabetes, you shouldn't do low carb.... Good Luck! |

It worked for me, twice. The first time I wet on Met and went low carb at once. Six weeks later I was 23 lbs lighter and pregnant after 7 years of marriage and no babies. The secod time I TTC, my son was 10 months old. I became PG when he was 11 months old. Now my daughter will be 10 months old and my cycles are very regular.
