Morning Summer! I'm here, today starts week 8 for me.

I'm at that point where I just feel blah, I want to feel pregnant, already. Good, big belly pregnant, not just bloated and tired.

I took a belly pic this weekend, so that I can watch my progress. I'll come back and post it in a minute.

Also, I'm having a really hard time sticking to a low carb plan. I'm eating SO much crap and I'm mad at myself.

Hows everyone doing?

I bought something for baby this weekend, the cutest little onesy that has all the fruits & veggies on it from the book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". I could have milled around the baby dept. for hours.

Okay, I can't believe I'm posting and underwear shot, but here it is. My beginning belly.

It was taken with a webcam so the quality is pretty crappy, I really don't have lines all over my body.

Hi Stacy! Sorry to hear you are feeling blah. I feel the same way as you about the eating bit. Low carb is HARD to do while pg. I have had a really bad time with it. I have an appt on Wednesday and I figure I have gained about 10 lbs in 1 month....oops! I have been really down on myself but really all you can do it try your best and do what you have to do to get through the blah part. Wait till your 2nd trimester when you become ravenously hungry like I am all the time now.

Whats going on with you? The brides thread is getting SO busy I feel like I can't keep up.

SUMMER: You mean to tell me I'm going to get hungrier?

Geeezzz....I have a feeling its carbs making me so damn hungry. Ugh, and its my own fault. I even had a Blizzard from Dairy Queen yesterday, WTH???

The only GOOD thing I did this weekend was walk 2 miles both Sat. and Sun.

Keep walking Stacy! That is the only way I justify some of my indulgences. I usually do 1.5 miles each weekday and 2 each weekend day.

STACY: Things are going just fine for me. Same ol same. The brides thread is EXTREMELY busy lately. DENISE only has a couple weeks left til her wedding! We are still trying, so, I should know something in a few weeks. I'm not stressing about it...

What ever happened with Marye? I know she must have delivered by now, but is there a post somewhere that I can read it?

Many of you may not know me. I only post occasionally. I am due in one week with Number Eight. I wanted to have a nice low weight gain, but I have managed to gain lots and lots! Oh well, I have lost it every other time and will do it again! Still, I encourage you who are more at the beginning to try and keep you gain reasonable. Eat healthy and don't starve yourself, but remember, it's a lot harder to lose than it is to gain!!

Hello Ladies. I just wanted to let you all know that I had my beautiful baby boy on his due date 7/7/03. My water broke and it had meconium in it, so I had to have pitocin to make labor progress faster. I labored for 26 hours and ended up with a c section. My little boy was head down, but he was facing to the side. Needless to say, he wasn't coming out that way. I'll spare all the gory details. I have a big, beautiful, happy baby boy, and I will recover eventually.

OMG, I just got sick in my trash can under my desk.

I swear there was NO warning, it came out of nowhere!!

What am I going to do? How embarassing.
Although I must admit, I feel alot better now.

This morning I was laying in bed thinking how I can't wait to have a little baby to snuggle with.

Hi Stacy! Sorry to hear you are getting sick...thankfully I never threw up. I am getting so excited, tomorrow I go for my 20 week appointment and I am hoping that they will do the ultrasound so we can find out the sex!! I can't wait to find out. Have you started thinking about what names you like? Mine are-
Boy: Jack Ryan
Girl: Vivian, Charlotte, Jillian, Kelsey (middle name will definitely be Paige)
My belly is getting so huge! I can't believe I am only 5 months and it is this big already. I can't believe it is going to get bigger.

SUMMER that will be awesome if you can find out the sex! We will find out to when the time comes, I'm such a planner that I have to know! I bet your belly looks adorable, when did you first start noticing your belly? My brothers GF is pregnant (17 weeks) and she is really starting to pop out! I can't wait for that! Have you started on the nursery?

Names we like are:
Girl: Cassidy Ann (this is a definite)

Boys we are still pondering but we like:
Noah Michael (Mike isn't thrilled about this but I love Noah)
Parker?
Benjamin Michael?

Boy names are so hard!!

I love your names, Jack is adorable and I love Kelsey & Jillian.
Our problem is that most of our friends have kiddos and they've already taken all the good names.

Hi Sarah! I promise I'll post a belly pick soon! Are you and hubby busy doing the baby making dance???

Stacy: I love Cassidy! I also love Parker because that is my nephew's name. Very boyish. I have started on the nursery...in fact, it is almost done! I already knew that I wanted an elegant baby's room so I didn't feel I had to wait for the sex because I wanted to do french country blue and yellow toile. It can be very boyish or girlish. If it is a girl then I am going to do lace curtains. If it is a boy then I will just do blue and yellow stripe curtains. I already bought the crib bedding and the changing table. My dad is buying the crib and my mom is buying the glider. My MIL bought us a futon to put in there so that we could sleep in there if we wanted too although I am thinking of getting one of those darling lacy bassinets and keeping him/her in our room for the first month or so. It is really coming together!
As far as the belly goes, I first started noticing it around 14 weeks. It was barely there at first but then WHAM at 16 weeks I was like, wow where did that come from. Just last week I had really bad muscle aches in my lower abs and I called the doc because they were so uncomfortable. She said it was just my muscles stretching out and that I would probably *pop* in the next few days and boy did I. But now it is more fun to be pregnant. I actually look pregnant instead of just like I put on 10 lbs. It will happen before you know it, in fact, I can't believe I am five months already! I feel so blessed that everything is going so well and all the tests have come back normal. One of my dear friends just had miscarriage #3. She is 31 and her and her husband have been trying for 5 years....her doc basically told her that her body is treating the fetus as an intruder and attacks it and that she probably won't be able to have children. My heart just aches for her but it also makes me feel sooooooooo grateful and lucky that it happened for me without even expecting it!

Nope, no wedding pics back yet, trust me, you girls we be of the first to know! I think I have another week or 2 to go. Maybe I'll e-mail the photographer today and see how things are coming.

SUMMER: OMG you have an adorable belly!! I just love it and can't wait to pop out like that! So, do you feel like you are filling out anywhere else (face, butt, legs??) or are you all belly? I already feel like my face and waist line is filling out. *sigh*
The nursery sounds precious! After you get done, you should take some pics to show us! I think we will go with a *beach* theme since we conceived on our honeymoon.

Hi All!
I have finished with my 2 weeks bedrest and am back on light duty..able to be down at the computer!
It was a long labor because the cord had gotten wrapped around Kyrie's neck twice tightly and so she had trouble getting down far enough to help with the dialating...All came out well though..the midwife just had to slip the cord over her neck on the way out..
She is very healthy and Atkins worked great for me..If you will remember my last baby was 11 lbs 2 oz and I was staying on a pretty strict Atkins trying to keep her smaller...Well she weighed in at a healthy 8 lbs and 14 oz, 21 inches long. The smallest baby that I have ever had!!! If there is a next time I will definitely do this again!
I have lost 35 lbs so far, most of it water..now for the "struggle weight" the last 20 lbs....

I am goign to try to post a picture....
Congrats Dawn on the baby! I am glad all is well now..I was thinking and praying for you the 7th..isn't that funny??

Have any of you had a hard time eating the low carb way being pregnant?? I'm just far enough along to be feeling gross and meat, cheese, cream, etc all just sound yucky right now. I've been eating carbs and my blood sugar is so messed up I'm miserable. But it is all that sounds good . . .

Has anyone else had this experience??

SUMMER: OMG you have an adorable belly!! I just love it and can't wait to pop out like that! So, do you feel like you are filling out anywhere else (face, butt, legs??) or are you all belly? I already feel like my face and waist line is filling out. sigh The nursery sounds precious! After you get done, you should take some pics to show us! I think we will go with a beach theme since we conceived on our honeymoon.

Start Date: 4/01/00	Have any of you had a hard time eating the low carb way being pregnant?? I'm just far enough along to be feeling gross and meat, cheese, cream, etc all just sound yucky right now. I've been eating carbs and my blood sugar is so messed up I'm miserable. But it is all that sounds good . . . Has anyone else had this experience??
