Weight is 157, right in the middle of my safe zone, 155 - 158
Still not getting enough exercise, using the bad weather and my continuing fatigue from the plague as excuses. I will commit to using my wifit two times this week.

TOM and I'm retaining popcorn. Most likely water, but popcorn caused it so that's what I'm blaming it on from here on out... the actual food, not the fluid. More accountability. 2 pounds up, but not worried about that at all.

Joyful I hope your new medical interventions bring good results. My weight is up today my safe zone is 155 -158. Today I am 159. I've already logged what I'm eating today and am eating clean. Not worried, but watchful. I know I need to be extra careful to deal with gain once I'm out of my safe zone. My goal is to spring into action quickly so I never find myself having to struggle with 10 or 15 pounds.

I'm 188.6 today...that's 20 pounds I've lost now since late January. Yay me! That's been a long, hard struggle (for me, anyway). Yes. Jesse, pull back now, because it really stinks to have to lose the same pounds over and over again!

Only bad thing is I achieved this by getting a bad stomach bug over the weekend! lol I hated that, but I have to admit the whole time I was going through it I was thinking, "I wonder how many pounds I'm losing!" lol

And again I'm reminded of The Devil Wears Prada, "I am one stomach flu away from my perfect weight" Sorry that's how you had to get there, but glad you're getting back to where you want to be. I think the reason I am hardcore with my safety zone is I don't know if I have it in me to battle back like you have, so I figure I'd better not go there.

Yep, don't do it. It is, for sure, a battle for me. Four months to lose 20 pounds doesn't sound too bad, but I know how careful I have been with eating most of the time and also how much I've exercised! I am going to have a safety zone, too, and I'm going to be really strict with it. I'm actually contemplating adjusting my final goal weight from 174 to maybe 180 - only because it is probably going to take me all summer to get to 180 and also - for some reason - a lot of my clothes are starting to get kinda loose - especially my jeans! I have had several people comment and it is true. I may just be a size 12 now, which would really be something (good)! Size 32 down to a size 12. Gotta wrap my head around that one!
PS: However, Jesse, I know you could do it if you needed to. We didn't come as far as we have not being able to get the job done!

I was 159 last week. My weight is 158 this morning. Still in my safe zone BUT it hasn't fluctuated all week. I think it's a real gain, or could become one. I will be 157 next Monday.

I was 192.1 today. I know the wine last night had something to do with that. New day, new chance to do better. My goal for next Monday is to be under 190 again.

Watch the trend, not the individual numbers! A bounce up occasionally is okay as long as overall you keep watching the line go down!

I appreciate your positive comments, but I know I've been off-track for a few days now. I am trending healthy currently, however... Just have to watch the night cravings!

Today I am 6 pounds heavier than I was at this time last year. However I am still 5 pounds below my highest weight in the past year so that's good. Today I am 156 and 16.4% body fat. I need to do measurements. I haven't done that in a while...

I have decided I need to lose 18 pounds to get to a more ideal racing weight. It's all about making the running easier.

This past Monday i was the same again as previous Monday. I just found some pictures from late 2011 at my lowest weight and I'm soooo mad at myself and disappointed.

Well Mary, there is something to be said for not gaining within that week...but I feel and share your pain. I ate TERRIBLY today. Started out okay, but suddenly felt all jittery and weak. I ate something sweet on purpose - it felt like a blood sugar issue - I think. It happened again this early evening. Very odd, but not the license to eat everything in sight that I then allowed all. day. long.

Thank goodness tomorrow is a new day. For both of us! For ALL of us!

So, I have reactive hypoglycemia. When I eat like crap I get like this. Sweet is the WORST thing that you can eat when this happens. You have low blood sugar and you eat sweets so your glucose rises, then your body produces a oversurge of insulin which drops the blood sugar again... setting up a cycle. You want to eat/drink something to bring it up fast, and also eat something that will sustain the levels.

I drink about 4-6 ounces of milk to get the numbers up fast, and follow it with peanut butter to keep it up.

Ohhhhh! I wouldn't doubt this is me, too! Today I started to feel a bit off and I had a protein bar. It hasn't happened again - but I have eaten better and more regularly today. Thanks for the milk and peanut butter suggestion. I wonder if this is why I've been having such mad cravings lately. Man, I HATE getting old...but I do like it better than the alternative!
