Stats: 286/142/135
Weight 151.6

Fat mass (per scale) 15.4% - I don't buy that this number is correct but I use it as a trend. 20-24% would be more realistic as that's what I measured around with a "real" analysis.

Height 5'6"

BMI 24.4

Chest 34
Waist 32
Hips 35
Arms 10.5
Thigh 21
Calf 15.25

OK so this Monday vs. Sunday January 20th (didn't weigh last Monday)

-3

Not bad at all.... another 3 or 4 to get to pre-holiday (pre-Thanksgiving) weight, but 28.3 to "goal"....
Which I never did "call".

.... thought to add, in case anyone is wondering.... I am tracking all my food online and also my weight with a withings scale (fancy new toys to keep me on track this year) which syncs to the program I use.

The plan I am doing is low carb moderate protein and the rest fat... 1350 calories for now, which means since my protein is moderate (around 70) and my carbs very low, I am actually on a high fat diet.

I might cut my calories to 1200 starting tomorrow, since I am not doing hours and hours of intense exercise like I was doing 2010 through to the end of 2012, after which I was not able to afford $200 a month on unlimited classes at a fitness studio

Also I have been plenty satiated at 1350 calories and sometimes I feel like I am eating only because I logged it not because I am hungry.

My protein and my carbs are within my surgeon's specs. Last he told me, 1200 cals was good for long term.

I was reading more of my book tonight and it said some awesome things - one being that the most successful patients are those who are able to stay satiated the longest and who don't graze between meals or instead of meals... The book talked about truly waiting until 10 - 15 minutes after your last drink before eating and then waiting anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours before drinking again. Also, they were big on not drinking empty calories (DD coffee drinks, do you hear that!!) because they don't keep you full or satisfied at all/for long.

I am very guilty (in the past year or so) of eating because someone has decided "it is time to eat," even when I'm not hungry. Ditto for continuing to eat food on my plate just because it is on my plate - not because I'm still hungry. I have to learn to listen to my body again.

Joining the thread...will post weight on Monday...(that gives me some time to get it down, right!?? )

I was on a wls board...and they were talking about the 5:2 plan...anyone heard of it? I am giving it a try. Basically, its similar to JUDD....eat normally (for me 1300 cals or so per day) 5 days per week and then 500/600 on your "fast days"...I think it will help me stop grazing and drinking cals.

Yay, Angel! Glad to have you! I haven't heard of that plan - I'm interested on how you do and feel with it.

I am getting used to eating less and being much more careful. I'm also down 1.8 pounds as of Wednesday morning, and I am very happy about that.

I now have a pretty big event in May to be "ready" for. My godson's graduation is coming up and he really wants me to be there (It is far away...). It is fully within my ability to be back down to at LEAST 182 - but hopefully closer to my 174 goal. I really want to feel good about myself again/for the first time...

Just in case I can't weigh tomorrow morning I got on the scale just now: 203.7! I'm down 5.1 pounds since last Sunday. I am amazed at how well I can do when I just put my mind to it (and don't put junk in my mouth).

My goal for next Sunday/Monday: at least 201.something, but maybe Onederland?

This morning 155.5. I was as low (a new low) as 154.5 last week. I checked my stats and I had not lost any weight since the middle of October, so I thought I was in maintenance. But maybe I was in a stall, because suddenly I dropped a few pounds. I'm not two years out yet, so maybe I'm still in the honeymoon period Whatever, I'll take it!!!! I will adjust my window now, I'm going to say my maintenance weight is 155 and my upper limit is 158.

You aren't in maintenence yet. I lost another 20 pounds around 2 years out after a 6 mo stall.

All other stats the same. Calling it fluid as I've not been drinking water and I'm constipated. Not to mention my right lower leg swollen from my knee. It'll all pee off today. I was 150.2 on Saturday morning so I'm cool with my number today.

Still a size 4 no matter what the scale said.

Onederland this morning!!!

Congrats, Joyful & hang in there Heather and Mary - you two know how easily our weight can fluctuate!

Yay for Jesse, too! I like your couple pound acceptable weight. Once I get down to at least 182 I might start thinking that way. I do know I never care to see in the 190's again, too...but that is still along way off.

Did I mention I was 199.5 this morning?!?!?!? All this effort is worth it! Here's to 197 next Monday - and to never see 200+ again!!!

Exact. Same. Weight. Exact same measurements too! Wait. Hips are 36. I blame the clamshells. It's like a booty lift bonus.

Yesterday was the last day of TOM so it should go back down. I'm also running again so I feel less sluggish. I've also made it to a couple of yoga classes over the past few weeks.

IF my knee holds up like it has been I'll start back up on the T25 again. It STINKS being on activity restriction. I couldn't run, but I also wasn't allowed to bike, elliptical, beachbody workout, etc. Easy yoga was about it. Been going stir crazy!

I can't wait to see everyone's GREAT results this week!!!

Heather~ So glad your knees are getting better.Yes it does suck that you are unable to do your normal activities. I swear as soon as my back issue is dealt with I will be all about moving this body and"shaking it down to the ground" Got a bone density test tomorrow and a boob pincher . I hope nothing is wrong with my hip . Osteoporosis runs in my family.

Jesse~ thanks I tend to hold a lot of water but,I'll take it!! I was really on the mark with my eating so I am glad that it paid off. This week I stayed the same.

HT~ Glad that you made it to onederland
