Heather, what kind of cranberry water? I've been adding fresh lemon slices and juice to my water for liver detox. I'm going to start using grapefruits next.

100% cranberry juice. Nothing else added. I think the brand I get is Knudsen maybe? I'll check at home later. Beware. Pure cranberry juice is horridly bitter! I was doing 1oz juice to 7oz water to a total of 64oz daily. Now I'm doing the cranberry like a vodka shot lol twice a day and drinking plain water. It's that unpalatable to me but I paid the $6 for the farm bottle and I'm drinking it!

B - mint cookie protein
L - chicken, chickpeas, tomato, avocado, snap pea, hummus
s - apple or mint cookie protein
D - no idea
s - probably protein bar

.6 mile walk with Lucy followed by a 2.11 mile run for me. It was cold. Temps dropped to freezing last night and was stupid cold this morning! Remember I'm cold below 85!!! But I got it done and it was a good one. I really want to buy a treadmill for days like today!

Tonight, I don't know what I'll do. The training plan calls for 30 minutes of cross training. So we'll see!

B - mint cookie protein
L - chicken breast, chickpeas, tomato, avocado, snap peas, hummus
s - mint cookie protein probably, maybe an apple.
D - no idea. I made the family some chili last night so I'll probably reheat that and throw some cornbread on top of it and make like a chili pie sort of thing for them. And I'll eat the same again as lunch (I'm such a boring eater!!)

Workout - I'm going to run "hills" today for my crosstraining. It's actually a bridge. My son has a private trumpet lesson today so I'll go into town a little early and run before I pick him up. Either that or I'll do intervals on the track.

The pics below is the "hill".

I think I need to be a more boring eater. I need to tighten everything up and stop all the excuses. I'm just ticked off at myself. 5K is Saturday. Heather, should I walk a mile or two tomorrow in preparation or just wait til Saturday? I have been super busy all week. I didn't officially walk since Monday, but I have been walking doing my errands and shopping, etc... On a positive note, I am around 90% done with my Christmas shopping.

I haven't even started my Christmas shopping!!

If you haven't walked then probably a mile or a mile and a half would need okay. You could probably even do the 3, but I'd stick to a shorter ine. You're gonna do great! They're such fun!!! Take pictures!!!

Forgot all my stuff at home today. I had to go to work early for a meeting.

B - mint cookie protein
L - cafeteria (doubtful! yuck!) or mint cookie protein
s - ?
D - ?

To do - I'd like to do an acro yoga class, but I probably won't. I've been walking Lucy - she did a mile yesterday. her first full mile. She's liking the walks now - before she was balking a lot and she was scared. Now she's more confident. I did have to get a prong training collar for her because she was pulling a lot. She wants to run, but she can't run distance for another 8-12 months until she's done growing. Speaking of growing, she's getting bigger. 15 1/2 pounds now at about 4 months She loves to cuddle and snuggle with me.

This is her "helping" me make dinner last night. She wanted to be held so when I squatted down to her she jumped on my lap and snuggled her head in on my neck. The second picture is her after I came back from the 3 Day walk where I left her with the stinky boys for 4 days. She didn't leave my side for a LONG time.

Supposed to be teaching a class today (one person class, but still a class...) but they haven't shown up. Probably a good thing because I get to the computer training lab and there's already a group of people in there. She said she had a recurring standing reservation, but I double checked and it's just me on the calendar. I check my voicemail over at my office through my cell phone and she won't be in until noon. Ugh. I wanted to be done much earlier than that today.

B - mint cookie protein
L - steak slices (no leftover chicken), chickpeas, tomato, avocado, snap peas, hummus
s - apple or mint cookie protein
D - no idea

Run tonight. My training plan calls for a 2 mile run.

Not good planning lately. The nighttime "mental munchies" have been hitting again lately. I'm not hungry, but I've been having the insane need to eat. Not really a need either, more like an "I'm not doing anything - I must eat!".

Ugh. No more. I'm only about 3 pounds up, but up is not down and I'd rather be down. Down is good. I'm also constipated and two (2000mg each) magnesium on sequential days hasn't done anything. So THAT makes me feel large and bloated.

Today - no plan. So far I just have mint cookie protein in and I plan to push water all day. I can feel the fluid retention on my knees and in my hands. And hopefully it will help with the OTHER issue. My son has a trumpet lesson for an hour later and there's a tall bridge overpass nearby. If the weather is better I'll go run "hills". It's rainy now. If NOTHING I should go to the gym. It's hard to want to run when you feel like you are full of poo!

Running a 5k Saturday. Well, probably mostly walking. My friend just started a c25k program and this is her first 5k so I am doing her pace and hopefully cheering her on and keeping her motivated to keep going. It's a local Christmas display preview. It's awesome.
