On a lighter note, when my dog died, I was babysitting a friend's little girl, so I had to call my friend at work and tell her what was happening, because of course, her daughter and my kids were torn up about it. So she is sitting in her office crying and a co-worker stops by and says oh no, is it your sister? (Her sister had breast cancer at the time). She said through her sobs, no my friend's dog died. The guy just said oh and walked off. I don't know why, but the absurdity of this story just cracks me up whenever I think about it

Years after, if I told anyone the story I would still tear up. She was my walking buddy, and she would practically prance down the street, sure that life was a party and she was the guest of honor. We didn't have another dog like yours who needed a friend, so we waited a few years to get another dog. I love my Bella, (yellow lab) we've had her now for 3 years. I still feel bad about my golden, but it doesn't sting like before, now that time has passed. I still think about her when I see an old white faced golden and wonder if she would look like that. From the moment I saw her sick, it seemed pretty clear we were going to lose her, and we did within 24 hours. I think it is especially sad and shocking for you that you thought she was getting better, it's a cruel twist of fate. I don't know if it's any comfort for me to say you will probably be sad for awhile still. My Dad is a vet, and over the years he saw many people lose their pets, mostly to old age. He always sent sympathy cards because he knew that we grieve for our pets ~ and why not, they are a part of our family. So like all grief, it will subside over time, you just have to feel it and keep moving forward.
Thank you for these words. My Molly was like a child to me. Right now I'm the only one home and the house is so still and quiet. It makes my heart hurt for her. She kept me happy and laughing. I can only hope that she sends another little girl my way to fill that void. I know that when the time comes and the right baby comes along I will know. She will show me. Probably not anything as easy as her showing up on my doorstep... but I'll know. I keep looking at this pretty little brown brindle that's an hour and a half away. I'll probably not get to meet her, but I keep being drawn to her.

Of course it all matters what Mr Tito thinks too.

I didn't do jack yesterday. Not sure about today. Down another half pound, but I ate like it was the end of the world last night. A cup of beans. Later a protein bar, later a snack bag of Doritos, later a sf Italian ice, later another protein bar. This was over a period of about 6 hours between dinner and bed.

B - Mint cookie protein
L - canned chicken breast, chickpeas, tomato, avocado, snap peas, hummus
s - protein or apple
D - no idea.

I should run. We'll see. I can't bring myself to do it.

Your menu sounds good ~ is the gingerbread iced latte a protein mix or a drink you have invented? I make chai lattes just using tea, milk and sf syrup. I love them, but they don't do much towards my protein count.

Do you think your figure is still changing because of your plastic surgery. It would make sense to me that that you could still be getting smaller as you fully heal, especially with the walking. Whatever is going on, yeah for people saying you're smaller

It's been almost 10 months since my surgery so I don't think I am really still changing much... who knows what people are seeing... crossed my mind that both days I had comments I had my hair parted down the middle lol

The gingerbread latte I normally do use a scoop of isopure zero carb vanilla, but I was out. today it was just:

- Starbucks via pack mixed in a small amount of water
- calorie countdown milk
- tbsp of HWC
- torani and monin sugar free gingerbread syrups (the monin tastes better but has erythitol so I mixed them)
- ice

Joyful - you don't happen to be in Florida, do you? I am... Also, is that all you eat all day? O,o I am wondering if that is enough for you? Maybe eating a little more would actually help you lose?

For me (actual and planned...) today:

B: scrambled eggs (maybe 1.5 eggs) with 1 piece brown and serve sausage, some onions and mushrooms and a splash of cheese.
S: some coffee with sf creamer
L, S2, and D will be a protein shake and a greek yogurt, with lots of water in between. Dinner will be a piece of baked salmon...

Back on track!!! I will be walking tomorrow.

I had the same comment above. At two years out I needed a bit more food to keep losing, especially with exercise.

HT~ Yep I am in Florida about an hr away from Orlando going south. It would be cool if we were close.

I know I should eat more but, I am not hungry when I wake up. I don't want to eat cause the clock says I should eat, I am trying to eat when I feel hungry. I do think you gals are right that I do need to up my protein. I am a short person so the usual calorie intake is lower for me. I also need to get off my arse and exercise more. I was never an athletic person, almost flunked gym cause I hated to dress out. LOL I did walk on the beach 4 miles Sat and I really did enjoy that so I will be going again on a regular basis. Looks like rain today though.

B~ protein shake 25 gr
Lunch~ homemade chicken and broccoli
D~ curried Tilapia and a small salad

S~ SF popsicle

What do you girls go to for snacks. I can't eat nuts or chips . I love air popped corn. but, it of course too many carbs.

Yesterday I ended up waiting too late for dinner and for the second day in a row, had a couple tbsp sunbutter (sunflower seed spread) for dinner.
