Hello,

It's been a while since I've posted, doing good over all. I'd like to ask for a tip on what local Doctors in the DFW are good in your experience for regular care (that are familiar with gastric bypass patients). I'm looking between Grapevine-Colleyville-Irving-Arlington area.

Hey there I haven't posted for a while, but lurk here often!!

I absolutely loved my doc Dr. Kim @ Kim bariatrics COE Center of Excellence
I did the footwork & his staff did everything else & no hassle with insurance!! YAY!! His office is in Colleyville. He has, since I had my surgery, taken on a new partner (female) & I don' t know her name, but a co-worker just had her surgery with her!! go to web site Kim Bariatrics!! Good luck & Welcome!!

My surgeon is at MCA, he has a very good program.

If you're looking in the downtown Dallas area I can recommend a few at BUMC too. Or Forrest Park if you want more north.

I had my surgery through Dr.Kim as well and he did excellent with my surgery, but right now I'm just looking for a doctor to go to for any regular issues like getting a cold or what not, I've never been big on going to the doctor unless I really need one but lately I figure I better get on track.

I've recently begun taking better care of myself, I had lost a significant amount of weight and it did a number on me, I don't think I was ready to see all the physical changes (droopy, jiggly skin etc) so I pulled back and gained some, now I'm actively getting back to my health doing 2 mile morning walks, and visiting a personal trainer which I'm going to switch over to just attending a regular gym.

I feel healthier and more motivated at this point, I didn't do well in letting my muscles go and not eating right.. so this is my clean break from bad choices and bad habits.
