I'm back!
Been away for many years since my WLS. I was happy to see this forum here. My stats are in my siggy.

Has anyone had a revision?

I'm just curious as to your success. Things slow down when you're my age and it gets harder and harder to lose. I'm only on 43 lbs since last June. It took me two years to loose all my weight the first time. I had some skin issues but not as much as I would have, had I not lost so slowly.

Anyway, just wanted to give a shout out! :jumpjoy:

Hi!! And welcome back!

We have a good little group here. :) We typically post in two threads:

There's a wagon thread where we post pretty much whatever. :)

And the daily eat/exercise thread where we post what we do (or don't do!) to keep ourselves accountable. We have many different stages of post op here and we get a pre-op or two occasionally and I think you'll find it a good fit. Just jump on in and join us! I see you already found at least one of our threads! :)

FYI I'm just shy of 3 1/2 years post op RNY. I lost 150+ pounds initially but am fighting a bit of bounceback right now due to my own stupid food choices. I'm still over 130 pounds down from my high weight though... this getting on track and staying on track thing is hard. :)

Wow MY you're doing great!

What happened to me was my antidepressant was switched to Lamictal. And it made me hungry all the time and I didn't realise it. And I never really weighed myself much because I was staying the same for 7 years.

That was in the summer...sundresses...loose skirts, etc. Then fall came and I couldn't fit into my pants! I weighed myself and omg!

So I went back on the post op diet and tried that. I would lose a few pounds then gain them back. It was like it was before I had my first wls sx. I was freaking out. So I researched revisions and liked this non-invasive/sx procedure. The name escapes me now but my insurance wouldn't cover it as it was a fairly new procedure.

Anyway.... Thank you both for the welcome!

Welcome Les! I am fighting the 12 - 15 pounds I've gained back since my gastric bypass about 2.5 years ago. It is a constant struggle! Hope you post a lot!
