I had a monthly support group meeting yesterday, and the woman who ran it brought in a blender and made us protein shakes using Unjury vanilla, soy milk (I am opposed to soy, so i bought vanilla coconut milk to use at home), frozen strawberryies, and a bit of frozen banana and made the most delicious protein smoothie concoction I have ever had. So I made some for breakfast this morning. In the future, I will consider adding some of my 0% Fage.

I need to step-up my exercise commitment and I've begun logging my food. My self-esteem is through the roof. I really don't know how anyone can stand to be around me

Here's me a few days before surgery (my surgeon's office keeps a photo log - and OMG, I had no idea I looked like this, talk about denial....) and then about 5 pounds ago, wearing a size small jacket (the label is too generous) and size 10 jeans. As of today (tomorrow is my 8-months and 1-week surgervisery) I am down 91 pounds. The excess skin and my now-floppier panus are freaking me out, but I'll take them over what I had before.

Oh - and congratulations on everyone else's accomplishments! As I said above, it's all about me, I apologize

I read the threads in this section for a long time before I decided to have surgery, and everyone is an inspiration.

I can't remember the exact recipe but I bet I can google and find it. It was like a scoop of chocolate protein powder (mixed with a small bit of room temp water until smooth), cocoa powder, caramel davincis syrup, hot water, sweetener to taste and a dash of salt to taste. It was super easy, but wow I bet it's been almost two years since I made it! I might need to give it another go!

I'm going to confess about my weekend in the other thread.

B - mint cookie protein
L - I forgot it on the counter so it's going to either be cafeteria (unlikely that they have anything decent!) or another mint cookie protein
s - apple w/peanut butter
D - chicken. It's pretty much all I have in the freezer lol.

Workout - run then yoga.

Yesterday I did another Fat Fast... my stomach was kinda upset all day anyway (even before I had anything so I don't think it had to do with the fat fast) so I wasn't hungry.

Today:

B - a couple ounces of ham followed by hazelnut coffee protein shake
L - steak and asparagus
D - half an artichoke and some chicken

Cafeteria was a fail. Fish or faux fried chicken. Bleck. So it was mint cookie protein. Snack was popcorn. Then later around 4 an apple with pb. There was a sf pudding in there too. Not terrible, but not great. This is what happens when I don't have real food lol. 905 calories so far today.

I am having a tight sleeve day so I did not have artichoke and chicken, nibbling at the artichoke and will probably have a shake to up protein.
