Try more powder in less liquid. I do 1 1/2 scoops in 4-6 oz water over ice. It's 35g in a few swallows. Cottage cheese is very high protein, more so than greek yogurt. You can get 14g in 4 oz, which isn't very much at all. I take a few leafs of spinach, some diced grilled chicken (or canned chicken, or lunchmeat), some chickpeas, either some capers or banana peppers (to give it some twang) and add about 2 oz of cottage cheese instead of mayo or yogurt or anything. Tasty, low calorie and high protein!
I hate cottage cheese but I guess I should try it again. Thanks for the suggestions.

Different brands taste different! I prefer Simply by Kraft but it's lower in protein. It has 11g per half cup and Daisy has 14g.

why no shake? you are gonna pass out in yoga on that, woman! lol jk

for me
B - Vanilla / coffee protein shake
L - 1/2 of an asian chicken salad (store bought package and added the chicken to it)
D - the other 1/2 salad
"treat" - diet sunkist soda, mostly flat*

*I don't drink soda frequently, but sometimes I like it as a treat... I open it then refrigerate it and kinda swirl it around so that it's mostly flat. For me it's not the carbonation I like, and I don't even like Cola unless it's cherry or vanilla cola lol

I love asain style sesame ginger dressing... I wish I could find one that was lower sugar but still tasted good! I have made some really good asian marinades but none of them had the texture of salad dressing.

I also love bbq chicken salads. I am having that tomorrow. Yum!

Food aversion. It's that time of year, I get in phases. Pretty much all I *have* been "eating" are protein shakes. I'm out and my monthly autoship isn't until early Feb. I should have my supplemental bag Monday I hope. I bought a vanilla cream to get by but I don't much care for it. Might take it back and get a chocolate. Dinner last night was beans. Followed by a NSA ice cream cone - hello bloat!

Today:

B - Fage, strawberries, splenda, Kashi protein.
L - Lentil soup if I'm still at work. Chick-Fil-A grilled nuggets and a fruit cup maybe if I'm not at work.
D - no idea!

B - vanilla/coffee protein shake
L - 3 whole BBQ chicken wings (4 oz of meat)
S - Protein Bar
D - Spaghetti squash with cheese
S - Fage with blueberries and splenda

I feel like I ate too much today, and too many carbs also (the bar was not low carb, BBQ Chicken wings = sugar)

I went for a walk with my parents, it was about 20 minutes, we didn't walk super fast... since I am still recovering this was about as much as I can handle... toward the end my legs started to swell (thighs lift surgery) and get sore even though I had my compression tights on.

Today has been:

3 swallows of decaf before the puppy jumped on the couch and dumped it all over me.
2 slices of cheddar
a sf vanilla pudding
sf mint patty

That's about it.

I couldn't sleep last night so I am having a slow start today. Still sipping on my protein shake

B - vanilla/coffee/white chocolate protein shake
L - turkey italian sausage with low carb (bella vita) pasta sauce and cheese
D - fage with strawberries and splenda

This might change, but right now my appetite is not like how it was yesterday.

So happy for you, Heather

So today is the last day of my period. In the past, this was the day I would eat my ktichen. As in - everything in every cupboard and the fridge. I haven't experienced that since surgery. Until today. While I haven't eaten much (thank you baby Jesus, for my small pouch), I have had some pretzels, some chocolate chips, and some evil Cool Whip cake frosting

My son and his family are coming for dinner tonight, and the leftovers will be packed for my husbands lunch as I clean up. I will send the cake home with the kids. Bedtime can't come soon enough.

"Meals" have been protein drinks, pickles and potato chips. I've been sick and that's about all I can handle right now. Thought at first it might have been the flu, but now it's settled in the head and throat. My throat is raw and I'm dehydrated so I crave pickles and lays potato chips!
