Doing MUCH Better :D
Hey y'all!
I've been feeling bad for awhile now. Stomach pain, bloating, lethargy, etc. I think I have finally figured out what's been making me feel bad. Gluten. I was tested a few years back for Celiac (since my daughter has it) and the test was negative. But, I was reading about gluen sensitivity the other day and realized I have almost all the symptoms. So, I cut it out of my diet and I feel SO much better! Yay! I haven't gained any weight post-op, but I've been stuck inbetween 185-190 lbs. FOREVER! So, maybe I will start seeing the scale move down again. I'm 17 months post-op now.

Hey Baby Girl,
Good to see your post, sounds like a prudent move to do the celiac diet. You have done well, we did not get this way overnight. I am seven months out, 142 pounds total, look like a Shar-Pei, so much loose skin, wish I did this 20 years ago. I have had my share of complications, AFib is ongoing, hospitalized three times, high coumadin level, dropped H&H to 6 needed 6 units of blood, was there 5 days. I can move so much better, need to up my excersize level. fit in chairs and booths generally. Take care of yourself, you are a beautiful lady. Blessings, Patty ![]()

Awww Patty...I'm sorry you've had a hard time.
That's awesome about your weightloss though. I've lost around 90. I know what you mean about the skin...ugh... It is really nice being able to fit in chairs and booths...it's the "little" things. I cleaned out my pantry today and left only gluten-free foods. My daughter will be happy. LOL |
