been way to busy

So on Tuesday I have a doctor’s appt to see if we can schedule the surgery. I am sacred I do not think I have lost the 10 pounds. It has been so hard for me because the shakes do not satisfy me and I feel so hungry all the time. UGH!!! I just want to get this done so I can start really losing weight and get healthy. So we will see. Maybe she will set the date and then say you need to see me right before and see if I have lost it. It can be discouraging when you know you are going to do it but there is this wait and you wonder if it is ever going to happen. It can be frustrating. Now I need to go back to the place where I got my machine because that mask they gave me does not work and I have a harder sleeping then I did before. Oh well I keep on keeping on.

I was at my WLS support group last night (BTW, I'm pre-RNY bypass as well), and they we were discussing the 10% goals we all had before surgery. I know you may be hungry all the time but think of it this way, you only have to do it for a short time, then you're always going to feel full, keep your mind off being hungry by calling a friend, taking a short walk, watching a movie, or whatever it is you like to do. That might help. Good Luck, remeber you CAN do this! Oh and about the mask for your CPAP, I would call the Pulmonologist and find out if there is somehting else you can use, I didn't know this but there is like 5 different style masks!

Please come and post when you have your date!
