When does the "I'm soooo sick" phase end???

I am 50+ and have about 75 pounds to lose. I started my low carb lifestyle 9 days ago. Prior to, I ate 90% carbs. I craved sweets and couldn't get enough. It wasn't at all uncommon to eat half a dozen donuts at a time, followed by a pint of icecream. I was tired of being fat and of getting out of breath just changing clothes!!! Now, I feel desperately weak and sick. I know my body has a tremendous transition to make and nothing comes without a price. I am dizzy, horrible headache, nauseated and instead of the apparently more common "C" problem when it come to solid elimination, I have the "D" problem instead. This has been going on for the past 5 days and it is a struggle to get out of bed in the mornings to go to work. I have lost 13 pounds. Any encouragement would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

I am sorry you are so sick. Hopefully you are doing better. I also am 50+ (55) and have finally decided to get serious about weight loss. I started Jan 19, 2014 and have lost 56 lbs so far. My only words of encouragement are keep at it. I think your post was a week ago so how are you doing now?
