Doggygirl's Restart # 656389573957395

Well, they say around certain tables to "keep comin' back." So here I am once again!

I have really fought hard against the idea that I am just flat out intolerant to and addicted to carbs. I have tried every way from Sunday (Weight Watchers, Vegan, etc.) to control my eating and weight without having to go back to low carb.

But here I am. Before I regain ALL the weight I lost in 2008, I just have to get real about this.

For now I am keeping it simple with Atkins '72. I MUST DO THIS.

Today:
B: 2 eggs fried in butter, bacon, black decaf (done)
L: 1.5 large burger patties, decaf + HWC (done)
D: Burger patty - will see how much based on hunger
S: (If starving after training class tonight) 2 oz cheese, 10 small olives
E: None today (and I wont' be obsessing about exercise for now)

For now I am going to eat on plan foods and not worry about calories. If I'm smart I'll stay off the scale for awhile but I'm not very smart about the scale LOL! I will probably have to watch calories at some point just because my appetite has never had an off switch, even when faithfully low carbing. But I need to REMEMBER right NOW that the goal is to get through a clean induction and get switched over to fat burning mode.

In other news, I am wondering who will win this seasons Dancing With the Stars! I've never even watched that show! But I'm a figure skating fan so got sucked in for this season since Meryl Davis & Charlie White are on. I will be voting for Meryl tonight.

Weight today: 184. Wow! What a whoosh! I decided I wait until I'm at/under a weight goal for 3 days before I claim it in my sig line.

I ate a LOT of ground beef yesterday. About 16 oz COOKED weight! But I was not hungry for a snack last night so I think all is well for now. Will be doing a repeat of yesterdays menu today.

After making my call in votes last night from all phones in the house, I spent some time this morning voting like a teenager for Maks & Meryl on DWTS! Embarassing to admit LOL.

I need to get some more flowers into pots on my porch today before I leave for training again tonight. I will be very glad when this training is over!! (65 hours of domestic violence / sexual assault training for my fall internship..)

Thank you Monica! I surely appreciate the support. I cannot give up, and I certainly cannot do it alone.

Todays weight: 182.2

Yesterdays food:
B: Eggs, bacon, butter
L: Meatloaf
D: Meatloaf
S: None
E: Not much - planted some flowers on my deck

I forgot how fabulous this early LC whooshing is. I think it's making a difference in my body AND my brain to stick with Atkins '72 "biologically zero" carbs and not worry about veggies, etc. KISS.

Menu plan for today:
B: Eggs, bacon, butter
L: Egg salad, celery
D: Meatloaf
S: Up to 4 oz cheese if needed, but I'm trying to train my body to only eat at meal times. Snacking just opens Pandora's box sometimes.

I am also recognizing more thirst so I need to remember to keep water with me at all times.
