Good UD today. I had a snack between breakfast and lunch and when I finished my lunch I was satisfied. I did not need any afternoon snack, but I had an early dinner and I am satisfied.

Yahoo!!! great DD today. I ended up only with 320 cal today which is very low for me. Just was not hungry, full of energy and with DD high, that some experience. Only if most of the DDs were like this.

Thank you Carol. Just taking advantage of the best time of the month. You know what I mean
I have been eating smaller portions and am stumped that I feel satisfied with much less food. Sometimes I feel I can call it quits after first few bites. I just added 1 snack a day, either between B and L or L and D and my portions sizes on main meals went down. It is strange because the snack is only 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, HB egg or small fruit. I don't think the snack made a difference as much as changing my attitude and really listening to my appetite. I don't need big portions to feel satiated. Today is a UD and I am struggling to get close to my UD calories. It is a tricky situation because I don't want to go into DD with not enough fuel. Maybe things will change later one. I am sure every day is not going to be like the last 3 days. I am not going to stress over eating up to my UD calories, if I am not hungry. Worst case scenario I will just increase my DD tomorrow, if I feel like I need to. I realize that combining IE with JUDDD is not straight forward as just doing one or the other but I think it can be done with just eating more one day and less the next.

At the risk of jinxing myself, I have to say that my UD today was great. The early satisfaction with food continued till dinner. I thought maybe since I was hungry before dinner and not hungry enough before lunch, dinner would be different. Nope, again after few bites I was ready to quit. Since that would have made my UD only at about 900 cal, I have decided to finish the whole dinner and follow up with an apple. I definitely did not need to finish the other half of the dinner but this at least brought my calories count for the day to 1220. It is not that I am eating LC that is decreasing my appetite, in fact my carb count was quite high for the day as I had couple of fruits, few vegies and a large sweet potato. OK, I better shot up now, before this magic ends

There is something else I tried few days ago, that I totally did not believe in and am still not sure what to think of this. It is subliminal music that can help curb you appetite. I got this book on kindle "Prime Your Mind For Weight Loss". The book has a link to free MP3 music that you can download. You just have to listed to it as there is supposed to be subliminal message that will control you appetite. I figured it is very pleasant music, so even if this does not work, I have nothing to lose.
As you can see, I am trying everything to prevent future binges. I am still doing EFT. I am so ready for something to finally click!!!!

Interesting that just a few bites will satisfy you. I haven't been able to tune in well enough yet to sense that, but I'm still trying. I guess then the danger becomes not getting enough fuel, like you said. But without it seeming like a rule. Now we have rules about not having rules.

I had a bad sleepless night I ate 440 cal yesterday and was not very hungry throughout the day. During the night, however I was starving! I guess my UD before yesterday at 1220 was too low. Hmmm, maybe I should just do one thing at the time. I really want to lose more weight and can achieve this with JUDDD. I can see myself using HDE once I reach my goal weight. For now, in order to do JUDDD correctly I need to stick close to my numbers. I can use HDE during DD (so I will be using it part time )
I am still going to have 1-2 snacks a day because I think this helps to keep my sugar stable thus prevents me from overeating during meal times.

Strange to be up after DD and down after UD. It really does not matters in the long run, as this is just the number, affected by lots of factors.

Carol, it has been easy for the past 2 weeks but the hungry beast it is already showing its face. So far I am able to keep it under control.
