~ going to be healthy ~

(3rd journal, and the.last.one.i'll do.

Well, I'm 246 at the gym this morning. OUCH

highest weight I've ever been.

Treadmill: 15 mins

Elliptical: 5 mins

Ab machine

Free weights bicep exercises

this is the 2nd day of my gym membership and I am SO GLAD I went back!!

I feel better already. My aim is to be able to physically be able to deal with life. More exercising to be healthy, than to lose weight, that will come as I cut down on my overeating. I'm a compulsive overeater, definitely. Dealing with that with some notes to myself that I read through the day for inspiration. I really need to lose weight, my apnea is a real problem, the pressure on my machine is so high, I want it lowered, and hopefully, losing weight will do that.

well, I disappeared for a few days but, I exercised every day.

I'll just skip to today.

I did the treadmill for 22 mins.

Free weights biceps
Machine arm exercise machine. Gotta go look at it tomorrow, and find out what it's called

Tricep pull down machine

will be walking with my daughter tomorrow, so won't go to the gym.

I'm getting sore. It's not painful, but just sore.

I have lost 2 pounds

still hanging in there.

I've definitely had a wake-up call with what I'm reading.

reading this:

How Do I Treat High Cholesterol If I Have Other Conditions?
Unfortunately, high cholesterol can complicate other conditions. For example, research shows that type 2 diabetes lowers good cholesterol and increases bad cholesterol. This puts you at risk for cardiovascular issues, including heart attack and stroke. However, if you don’t have type 2 diabetes when you’re diagnosed with a cholesterol issue, having high cholesterol puts you at risk for developing it later.

I already have sleep apnea, hypothyroid, high LDL... it has to stop.

I'm eating whole foods.

I had oatmeal for breakfast, chicken for lunch, bean soup, dark chocolate, a glass of red wine for dinner tonight.
I have to eat differently for the REST.OF.MY.LIFE. or...pay the consequences.

I did the elliptical this morning for 10 minutes, and the treadmill for 15.

Nice job! It sounds like you're doing great. I am having a hard time getting to the gym, but you have your head in the game for sure. Are you sticking to a meal plan or just making sure you're eating the right foods as you go? I always try to create a plan, but it never quite works out that way.

thanks I am now doing the Clean Eating Challenge with my daughter. It's overwhelmingly hard. Cooking all 3 meals, new recipes, cooking, chopping I've never done this before....I was lazy, I admit it lol The food is awesome though I think the Challenge part is the planning and shopping. It's for 2 weeks

will be leaving on a cruise on the 25th, so this last two days are the ones on plan.
I will be cooking some of the recipes next week, but all 3 meals, planning and shopping, I will be getting ready and won't have time...
