We got just an electric quote.. 7k ummm ouch...we don't have it.. Unless I find some stuff worth a lot of money in there, that's not plumbing or the removal of 2oil tanks in basement.. Time to start some serious eBay listings, lol..don't think I own 7,000 worth of stuff...at least nothing I can get rid of, and even then I doubt if I have 7,000 worth of stuff...ouch ouch ouch

Prayers needed for some doors to open

Had a big salad earlier today, hopefully no damage was done, it was much needed, I love salads.
Waiting for a porkchop to get done, I was hungry when we started them, now I am just tired and got some serious back pain, stupid TOM

Best friend coming into town tomorrow, well I guess today, been a few months since I have seen her, so should be a good day..

Reno work can be so expensive! Any way you can have a garage sale and sell some of the stuff that's in the house? Probably nowhere near 7K, but every little bit helps. Good luck!

There are some legit scrap metal ppl, the drug addicts are the ones that will steal your electric work and your ac unit , I live in a crap town actually just read something on Facebook that ranked my town 86 out of 87 or maybe it was 76 out of 77 cities in our state, kinda reminds me of the show Roseanne , but they had a mall and more stores, we used to be a Chrysler city and when that closed it ended our town, had 2 guys take drugs right in front of me last week, it's sad

Well we are supposed to get another quote for plumbing and electric today..
I have made a huge $30 between scrapping and selling stuff. Oh and right now I have a 40 dollar bid on eBay and like 7 watchers, I haven't even made a dent though with stuff to sell and scrap

Have some big pieces I want to sell, I hate doing it on eBay because they take so much, will post on craigslist too, ppl are nuts and they would have to pick up (furniture) which makes me nervous.

Wasn't my weigh in day but I thought I would report anyways 318.8 I am almost to 15 pound mark, sure does come off me slow. But that's okay because I can't do strict 72 all the time, if I want a big salad I'm gonna have it, I use mayo for dressing which cuts down the carbs.

Hi friend
Sound like you are keeping busyCONGRATULATIONS on the loss. It is slow but slow is better.
I finally have myself down to below my Last dose weight while on HCG. SO now I know I can loose eating LC and I like it alot better than HCG WOE.

I started 3 weeks ago tomorrow at 247.8.... today I am 239.6 so I am difinetely happy

I love the plan I am on just because of ht eveggies I am allowed. I do not eat more than a 1/2 c at a time..But mostly when w eat out on Sundays. I usually odn't eat them here at home UNLESS it is a small salad.

Now I did eat a small tomato Monday and some mushrooms last night but still lost today. So I believe for me if I eat some I will be ok.

I'm originally from the "rust belt" myself. It's amazing how things go down hill fast when a major industry (auto/steel) dissolve...so sad.

We got another electric quote it was in the 2k range, which we can do, plumbing quote was over 3k which we can't do, well at least we will have electric haha!!! Hard to save when u gotta still pay rent every month. Ugh it was hot here today mid 80s, has been cold for so long, our house still is 81 at 1 am (no ac) I am dreading going upstairs because it's really gonna be bad luckily it will be 70s and 60s for next week. Above 80 is just too much for me, I have too much insulation lol. Tomorrow is weigh in day, hopefully I am still Down like I was the other day. I have these awful cuts all over my fingers, I guess the best way to describe them would be a deep paper cut, my fault -my new found obsession with taking apart things to scrap them lol...need to wear gloves geez I'm in pain for real!

wow THAT'S ALOT OF MONEY.So sorry. But I guess you can be thankful you have it to pay it.

When we bought our home three years ago they told us nothing was wrong. Well the very first rain we had the screened in porch leaked really bad. So the Realtor sent them a letter and told them and they had to pay half.We could have pushed it and made them pay it all. But they wee just a young couple with a new baby and so we settled on half. They said they were never out there. I cannot imagine having a nice screened in porch and never being out there. But anyeay it's fixed and we really enjoy it!

It takes time to fix a home up to suite yourself. We've added new front porch and 1/2 bath and had a new roof put on.But Uncle Sam paid for it as we got the First Time Home Owner refund of $8,000 and it paid for the roof.We had to live here three years or we had to pay it back. But we have been here three years this June

One of these days it will be just like you want it And everything you do to it adds value. So it is an investment!!

What is this first time home owner thing??? Seriously could we get it, house is my sisters she's never owned a home, we bought it with her disability retro payment.

Yeah our realtor and I think it was just mistake he was a really nice farmer Christian older man, said that the wire was only cut and not taken, and the furnace was from 2010, apparently it's from 1995, I'm going to look into the first time homebuyer

Realtor is out of picture now. House is ours..the good and the bad. I think we have decided to set up an indoor rummage sale there, gotta do something to earn some money. So much less work doing it indoors, won't have to take it down every night, or worry about rain. Will probably be awhile until it happens , although I already have a huge pile of stuff just begging to be sold by huge pile I should say several piles and boxes and there is still so much stuff that we haven't gone through, there is a room upstairs full of stuff that we haven't even touched or looked at yet! Still hoping for some treasure that is worth a small fortune

If your realtor is any good, he/she should be available to answer questions for you even after the sale. They have a lot of knowledge about things like that they should be able to share with you for no charge (my parents were both realtors for years). Might be worth a try.

An indoor sale sounds like just the thing. Smart move!

Here's hoping your indoor sale is a success and that you find a Tiffany lamp (or equivalent) in one of those boxes!!

The "first-time home buyer credit" is a tax credit that you take when filing your annual income tax return - I do not know how it works exactly, however, if the credit is still available for 2014 you/your sister might qualify. It would be worth talking to a tax preparer or doing some on-line searching as well as hit the IRS website and see what you can find on the subject.

Good luck!

I found an grant for home repairs in state of Indiana but the deadline was January, grr wish the state would clean up their website.

Oh I guess today is my official weigh in day, I was up .6 I'm not surprised because my stomach just feels raw and bloated, I was so ready to go off plan last night, I was hungry and couldn't stomach anything low carb, only thing that kept me from doing so is nothing in this house is gluten free and I did not want another reaction. Hopefully today will be better for me today, I will probably re weigh later, because the way my stomach feels I know it's not an accurate weight.

It is such a great feeling having my jeans loose on me though(even with the current stomach issue)

It's a very rainy chilly day here, we have had several days of 80+ I think the rest of the week the highs are 50s and 60s-wouldn't you know it just got our air conditioners put in the windows yesterday.
Don't know if I will get any work done at the house or not, with it being so dreary that house is gonna be dark!

11pm I have done well until the last hour, cravings have started...not just there but seriously consuming me and has for the past hour or so, the thought of an egg makes me gag. I want some darn gluten filled bread-which I know makes me sick. Seriously I don't know how much longer I can last

No I don't have flax seeds, never used them...I made it last night I ate Brussels sprouts, definitely not a 72 food but better than going crazy. I weighed today and was down a pound from my last weigh in woot woo. 1 pound a week is slow, but right now I will take what I can get, screwing up here lately more than once and struggling so bad when I'm not screwing up, it's a rollercoaster-especially mentally. After my TOM last month my weight didn't want to budge, so that could come into play too.

No well at least I don't plan on giving up, some days might involve things that aren't low carb, but I think that makes it more of a lifestyle change, an occasionally treat etc...because let's face it carbs is part of our lives all the tasty things have carbs, just the way it is.

Selling is going slow, got a couple of cheap EBAY items ending in a couple hours, we have just about got a room ready to set up for a rummage sale, I am hoping that will help! Maybe I can try to plan on next weekend sale, just gotta have someone help me move a big table into there from another room

I did buy a stick vac today that is cordless, so I will be able to vacuum some, carpets will be ripped up eventually but until then at least they will look a little better
