Day 26

155.9 weekend mini goal met

Now, I did go to the clinic at 7:30, which is a few hours earlier than usual since my baby decided he wanted to be up early and have a diaper leak in my bed. So I was up doing laundry and he was wide awake playing in his crib... But none the less I did weigh in at 155.9.
The weekend went ok, I had Taco Bell on Saturday, I'm usually a non-drive thru type of fast food person, so Taco Bell is a rare thing for me, but I was just craving those crunchy tacos... Sunday, was better, although I've been having these dark chocolate covered banana slices that I got from Costco. Bananas are ok on the Lindora diet, but dark chocolate is not of course. It's 9 carbs for a pack of four slices.

I think what helped was going to the park and letting my little guy run free and then chasing him around, also climbing on a jungle gym so we can go down a slide over and over is a little work out too. I need to workout.... I keep saying this, one day I will actually do it.

Today's a protein day, I AM GOING TO STICK TO IT, I hope the scale is good to me tomorrow for it.

Day 28

154.5
13.5# lost this time around.. And .5# away from 30# lost since I started 2 years ago, with a baby being born in the middle of that.

i've had a good couple of days, although today I went to the clinic and then went to Starbucks and picked up coffee from there I came back home and picked up my husband and son to go to the park. After that I came home and gave my son a snack and a big cup of milk I knew he was tired so I got ready and left to go shopping. I thought he would knock out in the car so I can shop in peace and it worked. but this means I didn't get to eat till almost 3, this sometimes happens when I get busy and then forget to eat. I hope it doesn't throw off the weight-loss path that I've been on

While trying on clothes I noticed that my no-butt-itis is back... This is a good thing and a bad thing, it tells me that I have lost some weight but I like to have a little junk in my trunk, lol. I am down from a tight size 12 to a near comfy size 10

Why did I eat those chicken strips and onion rings... I felt like crap afterwards. Hopefully I will remember this the next time I feel like taking a step in the wrong direction. I'm going to drink lots of water and lemon water tonight. I will see the damage tomorrow.

Day 33 and 34 weigh ins

157.4 and 155.9

I am on day 2 of protein days, tomorrow I will go back to regular menu days. The weekend was a free for all. I did not stay on plan at all. But back to it as of yesterday. Maybe it will be less than a pound of real gain. I think I still have a little water weight from the weekend. I really need to stick to it if I want to get to my next mini goal by the end of the month. My husband is booked for work through the 30th, this helps me stay on track. I know it's no ones decision but mine to make good choices. But, at the same time when he is home from working so much, I kind of want to let him pick where we go and enjoy what he wants.... Lately he's been bringing up sushi and all I can think is 'what am I suppose to eat?'... We have an anniversary coming up, maybe that day we can go and I can have a cheat meal (notice I said cheat meal and not cheat day, we saw what happened this weekend).
I've got some hard boiled eggs in the fridge, I think deviled eggs will be my next protein

Day 40

154.2

Whew! I fell off, not quite the deep end, but none the less I fell off. After Easter weekend I just could not get my stuff together, until yesterday. Saturday I decided to do a protein day, I got half way through it and then lost it again. Then yesterday, I finally did a full protein day. I got all my 6 proteins in for the day, had 51 carbs, and drank at least 80oz of water. I did some cleaning and organizing and actually warmed myself up. I'm always cold now, the temp will say 70-72 and I feel like I need a sweater, socks, and a blanket. I don't know if it's a low carb thing or I'm just meant for hot weather. Thankfully, last week didn't completely set me back (maybe just for my mini goal it did). I am the lightest I've been in a long time. I am not going to dwell on my lost week, it does nothing for me but put me in a depressed mood (this is so much easier said than done).
As for my next mini goal, I would have to lose 4.2 lbs in 3 days. I don't see that happening. I will try though

WTH!

I don't personally know anyone here so I will let it be known... Really?! History repeats itself. I blame Lindora Lean for Life.

Going to get more tests... I'm surprised.. We try, and nothing. Then I diet and am focused on weight loss and it happens...at least I'm 10 lbs lighter than the last time I got pregnant. This is pure craziness.

Thanks... The other tests have confirmed it I guess you could say a little of both as far as planned or unplanned. I'm 34, my oldest son will be a senior soon, told my husband if it didn't happen in 2014, then that was it. I started going to lindora in mid March since it had not happened. I'm doing a 10 week program. I figured I had a chance of it happening since we weren't doing anything to prevent it. As soon as I stop trying to figure out my ovulation schedule, it happens... The same as two years ago. My husband was a little surprised too, he missed out on the 'trying' for months. I texted him the pregnancy test pic, poor guy was in dress rehearsals and couldn't call, his head was spinning.
I gained 20lbs during my pregnancy with my second son that was born jan 2013 and was basically back to pre pregnancy in a few weeks. Let's hope this repeats itself too.. I am the smallest I've been in a long time. I have an appt next Tuesday, they said they will do an ultrasound. I've been feeling like I'm going to 'start' for the last week. That's actually why I took the test, since in the past I take the test and then within a couple days I start my period. Craziness! I know it's a little soon to get excited but, yay I'm going to be a mom of 3 by the end of the year!!!

Good for you! I wish I could say the same. I lost 45 pounds in 2001 with Lindora. I kept it off for eight years!!! BUT... I gained 70 pounds in 2009 when I had my daughter and only lost 40 of them. Then I gained 40 with my son in 2013. I lost 30 of them. Now I'm just trying to lose ALL of my baby weight once and for all. I want to get back to my wedding day weight. That's my ultimate goal. Today is day 1 of protein and I stuck with the plan. Except now I want chocolate so bad!

I never lost the last 10-15 lbs with my first... And gained lots without getting pregnant in between those 16 years with my second. I was just 16 when I got pregnant the first time and was a twig at 104#. I gained close to 50lbs with him and within a year my weight would hover around 115. Then when I hit about 23 it was about 125. Then the last year of college (+10), life (+10), and a career happened (+39) and I got up to 184. Now, I know 104 isn't realistic for me, but 125 is... I will just have to wait another year to make it happen.

That first week of the program is tough, your body craves those carbs and sugar you've been feeding it, stick with it. I really like Lindora, although I'm going to be out a month of my program, I think it will help put me on the right path. The last pregnancy I was pre-gestational diabetic and that was with a 20# loss. Watching my carbs and sugars really helped keep the weight off during the pregnancy. I figure this time I will do the same, besides French fries and cheeseburgers, candy and sweets aren't that great for the baby. I think it might mess with my head a little to see the scale go up, since as of this morning I was so excited to be back on path...until I took that pregnancy test. I'm kind of dreading stepping on the scale tomorrow morning... And I need to stop at the clinic sometime this week to let them know they won't be seeing me in a while

Well I'm back at it,... again.
I had a missed miscarriage and now I'm ready to get this started again.

My weight today is 158. I know I gained a couple lbs before I found out about the miscarriage, but after the d&c I went off the deep end with nothing off limits. I am on day 1 of protein. I am hoping to lose at least 4 lbs of water weight in the next few days, which reminds me I need to get my 80 oz in.

So, after reading through my old posts I realized I did not gain as much as I thought. I switched the numbers around in my head, I guess. I gained 3.8 lbs. let's hope that comes off in these first 3 protein days.

And I have to say I love the lindora people. Since I missed out on the last part of my 10 week program they gave me a free 4 week program. they are THE BEST.

Day 3 Protein Day 3 156.5

I'm down a little in 2 days. I will weigh myself tomorrow at home to see where I'm at, but I like to go by the lindora scale, just so it is consistent. I think my scale is different from theirs by about .5 lb, so it's hard to compare the two when I am closely watching my weight. It will be fine to use when I am done with the program, and if I really feel obsessive I can always throw on my weigh in outfit (which I hope I didn't ruin with bar keeper's friend trying to get rid of hard water stains in the shower) and stop by Lindora to weigh in, thankfully it's in a shopping center just about a mile and a half from my house.
I hope the stress my nearly 17 year old boy has been giving me doesn't derail me. The bad attitude drives me crazy. He's a good kid, but man, don't ask him to clean his room over two days and then tell him he can't go to his friends house. I just want him to do what he is suppose to do...when will he ever learn?

Day 9 155.2

Let's hope for a better weekend this weekend. In 9 days I've lost 2.8 pounds. I'm really not happy with this, I know it's all my fault and I haven't been doing this 100% this time around. All I can do I try harder. I just can't seem to get myself to workout, not only that but I've been only halfway following the diet. I hope I get my focus back soon. My birthday is about a week away and I really wanted to be in the 140's by then. This is not looking good.

I jogged for the 1st time in years!

Well it was more walk than jog, but there was some jogging in there. I did a mile in 15.5 minutes. I am setting a goal to get a mile in 12 minutes.

152.9

I finally stuck to an entire day of protein, I think my carb count at 31 may have been a little too low though. But, yay for me. I have to remember this feeling when I have protein days in the future.
Although I don't think I will be under 150 for my birthday this Saturday (especially after the holiday) I will be close to it. Maybe by the 12th I will reach that glorious 149 of which I have not seen in about 8 years!

I'm feeling very positive today.

Wow! It has been a rough week. My 16 year old son had a freak infection in a larger than softball sized cyst on his spleen. I spent the daytime all week at the hospital, his dad took the nights. He lost part of his spleen and is home now on his way to a full recovery. He lost 20 pounds, that he didn't have to lose, so over the next few months we will be trying to trade about 20 lbs ... He can have them. Thank god he is good!!!
