It sounds like you are having fun Jeanne....don't forget though if you do weigh yourself you have just had an up day so the scale numbers will be higher....but tomorrow the numbers will be lower so don't let it discourage you.....cool you have your meals ready for your down day....you are doing great...

scale said 135...

I woke up hungry, but I am drinking some water first and see if that helps. I don't want to eat my first meal till later in the am..
I will be having: Joseph's flatbread (90 cal)
Boar's head ham (60 cal) for 2oz
mayo (10 cal)
and dinner will be an egg (70)
oh and don't forget my coffee with creamer (70 cal )

That should come in around 300 cals for the day. The flatbread is big so I can divide that into 2 meals. Oh and it's very filling too.

Your second down day Jeanne....hope it goes well for you...I agree trying to eat later after you get up is better, as soon as you start eating it makes you more hungry for some reason....its amazing how organized you are, but I guess you have to be to keep on top of it....looking forward to your weigh in tomorrow, I know its going to be good.
Have a great day and fingers crossed you don't get hungry, an egg for dinner is a good one as eggs are filling....see you tomorrow.

so far so good today, it's 11am and I brought some Progresso soup to eat and yes I brought the whole can.. it's only 140 calories for the whole can.. and a piece of pita bread that is 60 calories. Had my coffee too. So cross your fingers that I can stay within my calorie limit today..

How are things going with you Sandy???

That's funny as over on my journal I just asked you to log what time it was so I could see the time difference between us all....and just popped over onto your journal and you put the time down....lol...life is funny....so when you posted your last post it was just coming up to 4pm here, so only five hours between us....the same as us and my kids in Canada...so when I am getting ready to start dinner you are thinking of lunch lol.

It sounds like your dd is going well, keep filling yourself up with lovely water, and yes fingers are crossed that hunger monster leaves you alone...

Sandy, I posted on another page about needing help with getting some much needed sleep, so if you have any tips or tricks please pass them my way..

I quite often have bad nights where I can't sleep or wake up in the night and can't get back to sleep, but with me its my thoughts that keep me awake....so I have learned to listen to something on those nights so my laptop comes with me to bed and I listen to silly tv programs...sleep music....Eckhart tolle....I find listening to other people speak stops me from thinking and I just drift off after a while.....so I think it depends on what it is that you think is causing the problem of you not sleeping....if its thinking to much then the same might work for you....its just replacing your thoughts with someone else's chatter.

If its just a matter of not relaxing enough to sleep then a lavender spray on your pillow really does work as I tried it years ago and was pretty impressed, or sleep music like gentle waves etc.

Its not good not getting enough sleep as it makes your day to hard to cope with, there is something that I got from the health food shop once that also worked but I don't like taking pills so I stopped...but I can find out what it was if you are interested....I hope you get this figured out soon as it makes you feel awful if you are overtired....its funny as I had a bad night last night as well...

thanks Sandy.. I take it that most folks turn to alcohol of some type to help with sleep. I just don't drink, can't stand the taste of it, but might have to try... LOL... I am just a very light sleeper and it seems that the slightest noise is waking me up these days and once I am awake I can not go back to sleep...EVER!!! And if I get up the dogs think it's time to go outside and then I have to let them out to do their thing...
so far no response on my other post about sleep tips.....

Ah Jeanne...it was your birthday and I missed it....it sounds like you had a good weekend anyway....it was my dh's birthday as well on Saturday so we overindulged as well lol.
I really hope you get your sleep sorted out, I am with you on when you get up the dogs think its time to get up as well lol...I had to start ignoring mine as I didn't want to get them into the habit of going out in the middle of the night....plus always worried they will bark and wake the neighbours up....but its hard ignoring them as they dance around you like they really need to go out lol.
I don't know if the alcohol would work for sleep as I find it always keeps me awake if I have a drink with dh at the weekend....sometimes I think we go through cycles of things as I go for a few months of sleeping really well and then another few months of sleeping badly, so for me it seems to be a cycle....fingers crossed its the same for you and something you will get through and it will sort itself out on its own....but its hard not sleeping enough...let me know how its going...

stepped on the scale this morning, still 135.. it does not change...
as for sleeping, I resorted to Benadryl for 2 nights and it has helped.
Had a good DD yesterday and will do another one today just to see if the scale moves...
What a roller coaster ride this is... LOL...

Well fingers crossed for you that two DD does the trick, it should for definite, you really must have your hunger under control to do two DD lol....your body seems to love that number though...either that or your scales have gotten stuck lol....I will be nervously awaiting your scale weight tomorrow....we will both be in shock if its stays where it is as then I will think you have broken scales...now wouldn't that be kind of nice.....

Well Sandy, it still said 135... Maybe I need to adjust my calorie intake... I feel good though... I also think my body loves the 135 and doesn't want to move... LOL... Hey as long as the scale does not go in the upward motion I am good... I am wondering if it's the salt in the soup I eat for lunch eat day???? what do you think???

Well that was a surprise....lol...135...how weird is that, but its good that you feel good..yes I think your body is trying to tell you something, it seems really happy at that number doesn't it....I think you have done amazing not putting any weight on at all this summer whereas I have been bouncing all over the place lol.
How do you look weighing 135, I think its all about how you feel and how you look....I feel great at 150 and look fairly thinish, not skinny but not overweight either, which is why I feel quite happy staying like this for now.
It could possible have been the soup with to much salt as I know if I have salted foods my scales can go up a whole two pounds.....are you going to stick with it for now to see what happens...

Still here Sandy and still at 135... and still doing the JUDDD plan... But I don't know why the scale is not moving, unless I eat so little (like a bird). I am thinking it might be the type of foods I am eating, so I may have to change that back to salad and fish.. So boring.....

Glad to hear that you are taking such good care of your sister. I have 2, one older and one younger. They both live in St Louis as well as my 2 brothers. There are 5 of us and we are all one year apart in age.. I am one of the middle ones..

Job issues...

so scale said the same 135... going to change up food intake this week... but my main issue is my job these days. My manager has never been a manager before and boy does he stink at being one... I will be going in today to try and talk with him and see if we can work things out.. I like my job as far as what I do, just have issues with the manager... I really don't what to start job hunting... Wish me luck...
