Susan....Well done....yep for definite a loss is a loss, anything so as not to see those numbers go in the wrong direction....

Julie I read that whole thread on meat only yesterday lol...it looks good and seems to be working really well for everyone....

Judy....hubby is walking the dogs today and giving me a day off lol.

Have to go computer shopping as hubbys laptop kind of died....he spilled a glass of water on his laptop yesterday morning, it was switched on but the lid was closed, we were hoping it was going to be ok...but nope it doesn't want to play....all morning he has been sharing mine so have to go get him a new one, he was due for one anyway as he doesn't have windows 8....I might see if I can get his other one repaired for one of the grandchildren....so now my day is kind of muddled up....it doesn't take much to muddle me up lol....

I love these too! Glad you enjoyed. It gives me hope that one day we can all find a solution to the metabolic syndrome and allow people to lose weight and keep it off!! It also was interesting that the doctor put himself out there as the test case!!

I should go back and watch part 2. I did go to Peter Attia's website. So much information there....Alot of information on ketosis, stalls, you name it. Its amazing how much research Peter Attia has done in these areas.

Its nice to have a common interest....
I spent all morning reading the responses to his blogs...
It was the same questions I had...he tried to answer.
Some of them were already what we knew. We have to find
out what levels of protein, fat, carbs that allow us to lose weight...
It is different for everyone.

I'm still sitting at the same weight also, Sandy. You would think that moving your body more would cause a drop! It's like the scale is Tee-Hee-Heeing me this morning! But I'll show 'em who's boss! Stick to plan and we will surprise the scale very soon!

Good morning ladies

Just a .3 loss today, but I'll take it because its going in the right direction.
I also know that my carbs were up from previous days.
I am finding out how my body works...
I think I'm really sensitive to carbs...
Go figure, but its a learning process.

Looking forward to walking in the sunshine today!
Goal get carbs down to 6 today...

You guys are doing great.... It always seems that you stall for a day or two and because of your consistency the scale shows a loss the next day or so...
Hang in there you are doing great!

Not to beat this silly, but how do you all take your coffee? I am looking for ideas since I want to get away from the dry coffee creamer (4 carbs a day!). Thanks...

Sandy - you drink it black and maybe this should be my goal...

Coffee for me is my true vice. I could drink it all day long. When I started drinking coffee, age 5, yes my English Grandfather started all this... I was drinking it only black. Then when I started a new job (years ago) the guys made the coffee so strong that I had to curb the taste by adding the creamer. Its still strong at work and am wondering if I just put half coffee half water I maybe able to do the switch back...

I start out with a 3 cup of coffee in the morning then have another smaller 2 cup after dinner with heavy cream.

Thanks for sharing all the great ideas...

Julie...good going on losing again, every little bit all adds up, it seems like you have found something that is working for you...I am trying to stay low on carbs but have upped my protein today, not sure how that is going to work out on those scales, but I love tweaking things to see what helps and what stalls me.
I think Susan was telling Jeanne all about the creamer she uses in coffee, almond milk unsweetened I think it was called, I think its on Jeannes journal, it might be worth trying it to see what happens....coffee is my vice as well only I do drink it all day long lol, but only decaf, I do treat myself to a real one once a week though and would drink the real stuff if I could but it does weird things to me lol.
Have fun with hubby this weekend it must be lovely having him back again....

Thanks for the tip Sandy - will take a look!

My husband was in Miami all week telling me how it was in the 80s while
here it was just barely in the 60s. But sunshine and 60s still was great
for me. Its great for walking... He got blood blisters walking on the
beach in the water, can you believe it?
Of course he wanted some TLC...men! LOL
