That is my mantra as well lol....only eat when I am hungry....today in between of the two walks to town I had one boiled egg, can't believe how much it filled me up, and tonight is fish and salad so hope to see a movement on those scales tomorrow....every now and again I want to give in and have what dh is having for dinner, but its only thanks to you guys that my resolve is sticking around longer, if I were doing this on my own I would probably be having Chinese tonight lol...
Oh that woman blows my mind with how much weight she has lost (mthrgoos) she is incredible...to go from 300 to 166... totally amazing and there's me struggling with twenty pounds lol.
The problem I have with doing meat eggs cheese, would I still lose weight because of all the protein and fat.....but then again it puts you deeper into ketosis....well tonight its fish and salad....I guess I could go with boiled eggs and fish and see what happens lol....I love changing things up a bit lol.....ok I am going to do it for tonight...dh will think I have gone mad lol.....but maybe I need to go back into ketosis more as well....thanks for that Julie.....

I remember mthrgoos saying that she was losing 8 or 8+ lbs a month for awhile but the closer she gets to "goal" she is losing less....hmmm this does sound familiar to what you guys are going through...the last 10-20...

Well dinner wasn't quite as I planned as I had to pop out again so hubby did it to surprise me lol....fish, salad, mushrooms and roasted peppers...way to much, but it was sweet of him....but I didn't eat it all lol....I kind of measured things out in my mind so I am roughly at.

818 Calories 14 Carbs

It might not actually be that many calories, I have overestimated a bit I think to cover myself, and also added in the two tablespoons of coconut oil he used as it was all over my veggies...none in the bottom of the pan......anyway fingers are crossed....

Julie...yes I totally agree the closer to goal the harder it is.....Ii feel like its a constant fight trying to get the scales to move.....but we will do it and get there....we are just keeping on trying.....just one day at a time and one day it will be all gone.....can't wait lol.

Hey Sandy! You're doing great sticking to plan and that weight will come off. Our bodies continually surprise us as I found out this morning. I will be following along while I'm on my little trip but won't be posting as I hate trying to do that from my phone...I just can't type on that thing! Enjoy the next few days and the weekend and I'll be checking back in on Monday!

Sandy - you will see a drop tomorrow, I'm sure of it! And I can only hope to remain the same! I feel like I can't possibly go down again so soon! Let me sit at this weight for a few days to get used to it and I will be a happy girl!

Weird...two or three days the same and then I go down.....so I expect to see that weight tomorrow now, which is fine as long as it moves again soon.

Mary have a great trip, it sounds like a blast meeting up with family.

Susan fingers are crossed you stay the same or go a bit lower, also crossing toes lol.

Julie, Hope you have a good whoosh on induction, its great you kept your carbs so low, that you should put you in ketosis for sure..

Well after I went off for a day and then did Atkins 72 yesterday, I lost all my weight gained... (not sure the amount lost - afraid to get on scale)...
Need another day to get into deeper ketosis....
Today just keeping on plan...
Dinner... chicken rotisserie?...
Lunch Fish or egg salad...
Should be nice here today, already 47 on the way to work...need to get out there and walk!

Ladies - you have a wonderful low carb day!!

Hello Ladies -
What do you drink during the day?
I am trying to wean myself off of the non-dairy creamer... I am down to 4 carb gr of this a day. I may not be able to get any lower than this. This is the brunt of my carbs on a good day.

Yesterday I sipped on a low-carb drink with ice. It was actually grape kool-aide. Today I have a crystal light strawberry tea I want to try. Somedays I switch to green tea. It gets so dry in the office and the carbs seem to come out on my tongue and give me a bad taste in my mouth.... I know TMI....

After dinner I like to have another decaf coffee with a bit of heavy cream...

Julie...I know the feeling of not wanting to get on the scales lol...I am like that every morning these days for some reason...I have this dread of it but still have to do it otherwise it would drive me mad lol.

You asked what we all drink during the day....all I drink all day is black coffee, I am a coffee holic but its also decaf, then at 5.30 I switch to earl grey decaf tea.....it sounds like you are doing well on the induction again, you have to get on those scales though lol, just to get it over with....its horrible not wanting to though lol.

so glad you saw the scale move down.... Keep doing what you are doing and it will move down again.. 140's here you come!!!!

I drink water all day after my morning coffee.. going to lose the evening coffee and some other stuff to see if I can get the scale moving..

Julie...the three carbs were from some lettuce I had and also some cheese lol, I think 2 carbs for the lettuce and half a carb for the cheese, so I rounded it up so it looked better lol....I had given up cheese but had a craving for some today...and then didn't fancy my salad so measured out some lettuce....a bit of a muddled day lol....but I am so stuffed so I hope I haven't jinxed my scales.......So happy for you that your hubby is home tomorrow, sounds like you are going to have a fun evening as well...

Hi giggles4me - - not sure how I've been doing this lately...Just 2 meals a day.
Just really simplified my days by eating just about the same everyday... I had a 1/2 C salad with chicken... Favorite salad dressing is 1T olive oil with 1T red wine vinegar...of course some of the dressing is still sitting in container...
I also have not been taking the low carb bread, I think its one of my downfalls.
Hope I see results on the scale!!!

Have you every watched the youtube videos titled, "Very Low Carb Performance" Its hosted by the swedish Andreas Eenfeldt, MD. He also has a website. They talk about carbs... It is interesting how these people have been doing low carb and effects...

Happy for you that the scale went down a little! It did the same for me, 150.6. Just a couple of ounces, but down is down, right!?!
