Honestly that is funny lol....you should have seen how much lamb I ate yesterday....I was very bad not weighing anything.....so when I saw the extra pound I just nodded my head at the scale as it was deserved lol.....today is a new day and I will weigh my food.....I am going to go and sit on the naughty step for a while lol.

Sorry Sandy! Don't sit on the naughty step too long - you have done so well in a very short time span! You will drop it as quick as you gained it for sure. I'm sitting here thinking that drinking this coffee thinking I will re-gain the bit I lost since yesterday . Constant battle of the mind, body and scale!

Hope you can go for a long walk - it's 60 and raining here.

Sandy, you are doing great, no reason to think otherwise.. But we all go up and down on that darn scale.. Just remember not to let it get the best of you....

Sandy - - you can do it, don't let that one meal get you down.... & you are looking good to get in the 140s next week...

Down another .6 so a total of 2.0 this week...happy to report this..even though I eat a little too much yesterday... I have not been taking breakfast
and did Friday....even though it was 2 eggs. Still calories for me do count. Back today with 2 meals, plan for fish all day.
lunch - canned tuna over a small salad
dinner - baked Salmon trying with a horseradish sauce

Raining all weekend.... wanted to walk on boardwalk. Well at least its not the white stuff...lol

Sandy don't forget a lot of times it is not real weight but just a need to go to the potty. I have found when I get upset some times it is that not real weight. It will be gone in the next day or 2. You are ahead of me on the lbs. girl. Keep on keeping on. All is great.

Todays stats....

Calories 905 Carbs 19

A little high in the calorie dept but its Saturday evening and I am having two glasses of Bacardi tonight and also tomorrow night so I have counted them in....its my treat for the week lol and something I do every weekend, anyway I will see what it does on the scales tomorrow.

Julie your eating is perfect...and you are doing well on the weight loss, you are losing consistently now, that is so brilliant....

Thanks Jeannne....its a fight but we are winning overall lol.

Judy...I love the way you worded the 'potty' that was so funny, much nicer than what I have heard before lol.....I have taken some magnesium tablets today lol....

Just a though - does everyone do net carbs for their carb counting?
I am trying the mashed cauliflower for the first time as replacement for mashed potatoes... I love them, my husband does not....

that cauly with cheese sounds so yummy....do you use shredded cheese or grated parm?

down .2 today...figures I did eat more carbs yesterday...and did allow myself to get too hungry(wasn't able to eat running errands) and then I lose it by eating too much. But scale is going down so am happy... and today is another day....

I hope it pauses raining, we found some water pooling on the side of house so have to deal with that asap, with hubby going on work travel....always something....Also hope we can walk on boardwalk... the waves will be high today, always after a rain or weather change....

Susan.... there is just under one a half pounds between us, it seems more when I look at the numbers but it really isn't....so get your bum in gear lol......we are doing this together.

Julie...I just use cauly, some cream and shredded regular cheese....I have also done it without the cream and its just as nice......are you by the ocean as well....it was sunny here but the sun has just gone in but we are still going to do our long walk today..

My day should be lovely as my daughter is coming over from the mainland on the hovercraft....whoop whoop, lots of chatting and gossiping to be done lol...she probably won't be impressed I am dragging her on a long walk though lol.....see you all later

Yes, we are just south of Atlantic City about 5 miles from coast. We walk on Ocean City boardwalk&beach as much as we can...usually 2-3 times a week.
My favorite is to get up early on Saturday and walk the beach before people arrive from outside area. Last summer I walked 1.5-2 hrs on beach...my favorite best so far...

Todays Stats....

Oh dear what a muddled day....but an amazing one, as its mothers day over here....so lots of emails off my two sons in Canada....then Nicola my daughter came over to the island, and then her boyfriend came over as well...I had the biggest bunch of flowers I have ever seen......I didn't know they were staying for dinner...my dinner was chicken salad tonight, thank goodness I had enough for everyone, but ended up doing extra things that I am not supposed to eat but because my lovely daughter was helping me, things I shouldn't eat got put onto my plate.....and guess what....I ate them lol....not even going to tell you what they were lol.....
It is the nicest day I have had in ages.....and I get another Mothers day in May lol....whoop whoop for me.....anyway so stat wise on carbs and calories I have got no idea and so will just nod my head at the scales in the morning lol.

I hope everyone did better than me lol.....

Well if I could eat as much chocolate I want then I may argue, but I can't so yes I will agree with you on the ocean being the most relaxing..and most definitely the most relaxing place to walk/exercise.... This year I plan to get back into jogging...can't wait...for warmer weather..
I love all the little birds...etc We even have seen dolphins jumping...its really a shock when a large fish(large whale in 2012) washes up...I don't really think of fish being that big...its a wonder to me really...

We did walk 30 minutes on the boardwalk, then it started pouring and had to stop... I had my rain jacket on yet my feet were soaked! Still I love it...

Hanging head in shame lol.......Well no more excuses now if I want to be in the 140's by this time next sunday I think I am going to have run some marathons lol....so definitely back on track and will have to get some walking in....the determination is back....so downwards I will go......

Susan its funny as I was dying for snacks last night....I don't keep any in the house purposely but I kept remembering there were some ryvita low calories crispbreads in the cupboard and I just wanted lots of them with cheese...thank goodness I didn't do it as I would have been up even more lol.....really hope you caught up with me today....

Julie... I can't even imagine seeing dolphins on my beach walks, that would be amazing to see them swimming in the ocean.....its a shame it rained for you, but you are right I bet it was still fun lol.

Hi Sandy how are you? Looks like you and Susan are doing great-love to see this determination! I've been feeling really lousy due to seasonal allergies...can't breath, totally clogged, eyes were almost swollen shut this morning. Ugh. My DH works nights so he was a love and took my granddaughter to the motorcycle shop with him a little bit ago to give me a break. He's going to be picking me up some Claritin D so hopefully I'll be able to breath later on today. I feel so lousy I don't even care what I weigh right now! I haven't been able to get to the scale in the morning but I think I'm staying steady at around 151...not completely sure! I told you I take quite a few supplements, here's the list: multi-vitamin for seniors, fish oil, vitamin D, vitamin C, B complex, Niacin, milk thistle, alpha-lipoic acid, potassium and magnesium. It's a ton of pills, sometimes I split them up because I get a tummy ache from all the water I have to down with them. I've been taking all of these for years, don't know if it does any good but I guess it doesn't hurt so I'll continue! Have a great day!
