People are noticing.

I have had comments from 4 different people in the last 2 days.

I have been measuring by 'goal' jeans.

I've bought 2 pair in the last 3 weeks...both are fitting loose.

If this keeps up, I'm going to go broke buying jeans.

I feel that I'm down 1 solid size so far and well on my way to the next.

I have kept my word to myself on no weighing for 6 months.

I have to speak at a conference in 47 days...NERVOUS about that, but hope I can do it in a size or 2 down from what I am now. That will put me 4 months in.

Now the question is...what to do with these practically new, getting too loose already jeans???


At this point, I'm just eating for fuel. With the holidays I have been too busy to really cook much. My daily routine typically consists of lots of oolong tea, a package of pre-cooked bacon or 8 oz. of grilled flank steak, some pepperoni or an omlet...maybe an errant veggie here or there. I'm just not really that hungry these days. I do enjoy a nice meal out once a week or so and i always have great success finding places with accommodating menus. Those meals always feel like a 'splurge' to me, even though they are completely on plan and very low carb. Mostly because they are complete 'meals'.

I find myself really missing some foods...popcorn at the movies and sushi...but not in a 'craving have to have it' way. More of a mourning of an acquaintance who has passed on.


I would really love to find a method or means to pair down my double chin. My face is thinning out, but I SO hate my profile. At least there are only 2 chins, vs. the 3 I started with.

That's awesome validation that you're doing a great job! You should be proud of yourself. As for those jeans, what about those places that buy used clothes? You'd get something back at least, then you can buy more!

You may need to shop at Good Will while you are losing so rapidly. Sometimes you can find clothes that still have the tags on and get them at a very cheap price.

Congrats on the wonderful weight loss.

Do you or anyone you know sew? I've watched some youtube video's and googled ideas for how to take in pants (including jeans) and shirts. I'll do that as long as they still look good then get hand me downs from friends or goodwill until goal.
