Still tracking my BG again. I have dawn phenomenon again now, which I had gotten under control. Yet another reason I need to get this back on track.

I also need to start exercising again regularly.

Weigh-in today was 206.6. Sigh.

Thanks!

The past couple of days have been pretty good. I've gotten some exercise and been able to keep out of the carbs and sugar. We'll see how the rest of the week goes!

Still doing OK this week. I'm having cravings, but have been able to keep them under control. Here's hoping I see a loss this week...

My weigh-in for last week was 205, so I did lose a pound. I really, really need to get under 200 again, though. I went back through my log and saw that I haven't consistently been in the 100's since October of last year. Boooo!

I had a good day yesterday and hopefully will again today. Going to make some chicken legs in the crockpot for dinner tonight.

Also, I have a puppy coming in for training this week, so that will keep me busy and focused on something other than food!

Very good day today. Food:

-- LC smoothie
-- piece of cheddar cheese
-- 1 Graham cracker
-- few pieces of raw broccoli and baby carrot w/ranch dressing
-- crockpot chicken (just chicken and tomato sauce)
-- Carbmaster yogurt

The graham cracker isn't great, but trust me, compared to the carbs I've been eating lately, this is a very good day. BG under 100 all day.

The "puppy diet" is working. LOL I'm so busy with him that I barely have time or energy to eat!

We'll see what my weight is tomorrow...

I ate almost nothing today, and what I did eat was dairy. I'm not trying to do this, it's the puppy! I have to spend so much time on him that I can hardly find time to eat, so I'm grabbing quick things. I should probably make some tuna or something...

Lost 2 lbs. this week, so now down to 203.

I need a puppy in for training every week!

I need to do a BG test on Carbmaster yogurt. I have a feeling it's raising my BG more than it should. Hmm....

I'm very upset at how much worse my BG seems to have gotten. Not sure if this is just a function of the diabetes progressing, my laxity in keeping to LC, or a combo of both. I used to stay between 70 - 95 (max!) at all times, and now I'm frequently over 100 (like 110-ish).

I don't like that! I think it's most likely due to my eating more carbs than I did at the beginning of LC. I used to stay around 35 per day, and now it's more like 70-100. That's a huge change! So I'm pledging to get back to my initial levels. I don't want BG over 100 more than, like, once a month.

I did it before, I can do it again...

6/22/13: the 100 lb. loss only lasted a few weeks, and I've since regained some of the weight. Stats updated to reflect this.

OK, things are better today. BG back in the 80's and 90's, and I've cut my carbs back to just over induction levels.

Got some cream cheese clouds in the freezer right now. I don't need sugar!

Thanks! Today's been good, too. Weigh-in tomorrow.

I ate a few Wheat Thins today, and all I could taste was sugar. I looked at the box, and there are 3 forms of sugar in the ingredients!! My friend, who was also eating them, couldn't taste the sugar at all.

Just goes to show how sensitive to sugar we get when we stop eating it!

Hope I can lose another pound this week. It's not been quite as good as last week, but not terrible. Food today:

-- 2 cheddar links
-- 1 graham cracker
-- the meat from 2 small bone-in chicken breasts w/mayo
-- 1 piece cheese
-- 2 glasses wine
-- 1 LC yogurt

Food today:

-- 1 LC yogurt
-- 5 strips bacon and 2 fried eggs
-- Steak

Too much protein, not enough fat...

I don't understand; I have gained 2 lbs. this week, for no discernible reason. I've kept my carbs and calories in check this week, so who knows? I guess it's one of those things, and next week I may see a whoosh?

Well, it's official - I gained 2 lbs. this week, back up to 204. I have NO IDEA why. Guess I will hope for a whoosh next week!

I tried doing smoothies today, but that's a bad idea, because then I just end up starving by dinnertime and overeat. Food today:

-- smoothie
-- 4 boiled eggs
-- Atkins frozen entree
-- 4 squares dark chocolate
-- piece of cheese
-- LC yogurt
-- almost HALF a jar of peanut butter (and I now feel sick as a dog)

See what I mean? I ate pretty well for the whole day (could have done without the chocolate or the cheese), and then I blew it on the PB. I don't know what's wrong with me.

Also, Sunday was TERRIBLE. Ate about 5 pieces of bread, and a GIANT serving of strawberry shortcake. And potatoes. It was like a wild bull in a carb shop. Awful!!

This week has been kind of "meh."

Thank God for Atkins entrees, because I did not have the will to make dinner tonight. I keep a few of these in the freezer for emergencies, like tonight!

UGH. Just a terrible week, and it's my fault. I accept responsibility for my actions. I gained 5 lbs. this week, up to 209.

And instead of it motivating me, it just made me depressed, and I've had a HORRIBLE day today already.

Yeah, so I pretty much had a full-on binge today. Full disclosure. I need to keep myself honest.

I can't remember the last time I ate enough to consider it a binge. It's been a long time.

I feel terrible.
