Well your spirits are up!

Avocado is soo yumm, I see you are excited to get back to your lc days now. In regards to you moving, its such a drag to have to uproot yourself and then redo everything. I mean it can be fun, especially when its completely desired. I think just getting things to redeco sounds fun and always spruces up your living space. It's a win win!

Totally agree! We have moved around so much over the last 20 years, I just don't have it in me to do it again.....YET. So, I think we'll stay and I'll figure out some way to revamp what we got going on here.

Got my avocado today = 1 happy girl!

Weigh in today showed another slight bounce up again, but I expected it.. Reward day and all Today has been on track with food & water. Wish I could say I was exercising, but alas, I still can't really moved without a lot of pain. May have to consider going to the doc here soon, and I really don't wanna

Saw this quote this morning from Jillian on a BL status...oh so very true and I am really REALLY trying to embrace my fears and step through to the next phase...I am tired of regret.... all of the letters.... see what I did there? We Are the Millers, anyone?

“Fear will pass, but regret… that lasts forever.” ~ Jillian Michaels

Still no where near back to normal...back still in much pain. Doing my best. Keeping food clean and getting all my water in. It's all I can do right now since my mobility has been taken away for the time being. Mentally this has been a dance this past week. The idea to comfort the pain, or the feeling that I'm failing has been so easy to bubble up. I have had to stop, think, and acknowledge that I am NOT failing in any way whatsoever. I've just been sidelined for a little bit but I can STILL do work in the form of good food, hydration, and keeping my mental & emotional wells filled with positive thoughts and motivation.
Jillian's quote keeps playing in my head today. Fear is such a huge stumbling block...one that I am determined to get past and over with. I'm convinced that this emotion is the very thing that has kept me from realizing my dreams. And she's right, regret is forever. I'm done living with regret, it's time to push myself over the ledge and fly.

New challenge starts for me on Tuesday! Getting excited. I only
need to drop 9.2 lbs to meet it and win. I can do this!

Got Dolvette's book today @ Costco. Gonna give it a read and see what he has to offer. Looks good!

GIrl, pain makes it very difficult. You seem to have your head in the right place. I hope you see improvement in the pain department soon!

Thanks Monica! My good attitude is all I have at the moment!

Back is slightly better this morning...we will see how the day progresses.

Game is on starting today! 9.2 lbs is my goal for the next 4 weeks. Praying for no more injuries, good clean eating, and the ability to be able to pick up some workouts in the next week or 2.

Watched the Grammy's last night. My girl, P!nk, she got robbed. Again. Easily one of the best performances of the night..so under-rated, that girl. #underdog

Busy day. Furniture buying, grocery shopping, and food prep!

I did get really banged up! I'm only in a few chapters of his book....so far it's just, eh. There's a lot of words...I think I don't like the way it's set up, maybe? It's interesting to learn how he grew up..I had no idea! The diet seems very doable, I can see why people would love consistently--there is NO red meat.. I would die! Consists of fish & chicken...fish I hate, so yeah...he & I would have a problem if he was trying to train me on the ranch

Great food day! I was worried alittle bit because we ended up at Chipotle for lunch yesterday... it was alittle more cals than I was planning for..but I did fine. Scale agreed too, so that's always good!

Back is so-so. I have a really good few hours where the pain level is very low...and then all of a sudden it's back x10 and I can't move. It's getting really frustrating! Woke up feeling great this morning and right now I can barely sit Crazy stuff.

I need to work on getting my menus cleaned up...getting alittle sloppy

Great food day--within calories and got my gallon of water in.
Back is feeling much better and I was able to get up & down without a lot of pain through the day. So grateful to be feeling better!!

Hit a small new low today. FINALLY!

Anyone watch Biggest Loser last night? Jillian's convo with Bobby---exactly the stuff I'm kinda going through.. once again, the quote she says; "fear will pass.....regret is forever." Ugh! So so so true.
Cannot say I am surprised by the 3 going to the finale!

LC day today--ready for some eggs and alittle cheese

Another new low! You're doing so awesome, D! I'm very glad to hear you're feeling better.

I have BL on DVR as usual. I'll watch it while I hula hoop this evening.

Thanks, darlin! I am so relieved to be feeling better! Amazing how being in so much pain affects every aspect of your life. It's exhausting!

What I'm most proud of is that I NEVER let go. I teetered at the edge when I first got hurt, but I hung on and worked through it. I'm excited to see that all of the mental & emotional work that I began working on the last few months is paying off in ways I never imagined. Feels very empowering to know that I haven't buckled through adversity. If anything, I feel like the more days I strung together through the last couple weeks, the bigger the fire inside me began to burn. Does that make sense? I think I posted somewhere else on here that I really started to question my commitment and my ability to actually keep going....how I was feeling like I was failing despite the injury being a total accident through no fault of my own. I had to truly get honest with myself and ask, how bad do I want it? I knew the answer, but I had to say it out loud..... BAD. This is the first time in over 10 years (I think since my first ever attempt at real weight loss-and got to within 25lbs of my goal), that I have stuck with my plan for this long. The thoughts of giving up have been very fleeting, and disappear soon after I'm able to quiet the old negative-Nancy that still insists that she deserves space in my head Not any more! Oh, I know, she'll sit there and wait...probably for a really long time. Well, I guess all I have to say is, better get comfy over there, cause it's gonna be a long wait....or better yet, how 'bout just getting lost?

Hey, I keep forgetting to ask you, where did you get your hoop from? I'm trying to find things that I could do while watching tv instead of just sitting here like a lump...hooping sounds like some fun! If I can remember how to do it, that is!

That last post was fantastic. I love hearing that you are this committed to yourself and your health. It's hard to get into that place and stay there! I'm totally committed (or should be!) and have officially been in WLM now for 2 years. But I can feel myself wavering just a little. Kind of tired of it all. I want WLM to be over and get into maintenance. But I'm still not to goal, so I push on.

I ordered my hoop from Walmart - they didn't have the one I wanted in store. It's a 2.5 pound weighted hoop and was $19.97. I love it so much, and it has trimmed my middle so much. I really do enjoy doing it - more than any other activity I've tried in a long time. I had trouble at first, but finally got the hang of it. You'll have to let me know if you decide to get one! I love having hooping buddies!

Carol~ is your hoop with the label of a "certain" gym? Is it purple & white? I checked online and the one that came up first was their best seller for that same price. I'm shocked to see that the prices on some of these things are still upwards of $50! I would love to join you in the hooping arena as soon as I can make sure I can actually spin the dang thing around!

Amber~ Hey girl! Yeah, just call me Klutzy with a capital K
--------------------------
Good food day yesterday 1257 calories and 1 gallon of water.

Scale still sliding down for my "official weigh-in" today, and I'm relieved to be ending this month on a high note! Not gobs of pounds lost, but all things considered I came out swinging

Ordering Jillian's 90 day program this weekend. Hoping by the time it comes I will be feeling back to 100% so I can just jump in and go. Stepping way way way out of my comfort zone with attempting this thing, but I'm gonna give it my all and do my best to get through it no matter how much I'm bound to complain about it

Wow, you just keep doing so great! I LOVE to see that!

My hoop is not the "gym" one, but honestly, it looks exactly like that one, and it's the same price too. Mine is Danskin Now, but it seems as if they don't stock that one anymore. I'm sure this one is the same one, with different branding.

I did watch BL last night. I can't believe it's finale time already. I haven't enjoyed this season as much as in the past, but Rachel is amazing. I liked the cowboy dude, can't remember his name. He had quite the transformation. What was with Bob and Jillian teaming up on the retrospectives, and Dolvette being on his own? Did I miss something?

My hoop is not the "gym" one, but honestly, it looks exactly like that one, and it's the same price too. Mine is Danskin Now, but it seems as if they don't stock that one anymore. I'm sure this one is the same one, with different branding.

I did watch BL last night. I can't believe it's finale time already. I haven't enjoyed this season as much as in the past, but Rachel is amazing. I liked the cowboy dude, can't remember his name. He had quite the transformation. What was with Bob and Jillian teaming up on the retrospectives, and Dolvette being on his own? Did I miss something?
Ok, good to know about the hoop.. I'm gonna pick one up and give it a whirl...what can it hurt, right?

Jay was the cowboy guy...
I think Jillian joined because she had no one in the finale from her original team? She got close to Bobby and David towards the end, who were originals of Bob's. All I can figure anyways

I didn't enjoy the season a whole lot either.. what I find really interesting is they did not begin announcements for casting for the next season.... could this be the end???? They're going to have to rev it up alittle bit after everything that was a snore-fest with this one....seriously!

Felt so rushed and that we didn't get to know a whole lot about each of them... I hope they switch things up for next season....if there IS a next season? Interestingly enough, there's been no announcement for casting for season 16

Wow, the end of the month already! Proud to say, I survived!

I'm just thankful to be down a few pounds and feeling better.

Yesterday was a great food day. HC, 1529 cals + 1 gallon of water.
I can't wait to start getting some exercise going again... I'm finding that I'm actually looking forward to it right now. Hey, don't judge...I know I know...I've always hated exercise...moreso to actually sweat, but I'm working on changing my attitude and my motivation is to see how much weight I can get off for this year...so, with that, I gotta get in that space of finding a love for working out despite what I thought about it before.

Was a tough month. Started out great, and then mid-month things got weird. I'm proud that I was able to keep it together and keep on truckin'!

Hey Danielle! Good job on hitting the mid-20s!! So awesome!! And good job on ordering her workout dvds. I've heard really good things.

I agree about TBL this season. I love the show and this season just felt off. I didn't like how they showed the update of the kicked off contestant on the next show either. It was anticlimactic. I hope there is another season though. I love Jillian, Bob, and Dolvet.

Thanks, doll! I'm abosolutely terrified at the idea of these workouts, but I'm going for it.. *see above quote by said bringer of terror*

I hated that we didn't get to see the booted off contestant til the following week! Who thought that would be a good idea?
I adore the trainers...I always used to say I would want to train with Bob, but ideally, I think Jillian is the one who would really get me. I like that they have been showing a different spin on her and not showing her yelling all the time---letting everyone see that she truly wants to know what makes these people tick. I need that!

Well, thank God you answered me. I was getting ready to climb on a plane and come find you! I think that's the longest you've ever gone without talking and it freaked me out when I realized just how long it'd been! Don't do that again!!!

Yes, ma'am!!!

I agree with all of your BL commentary. I would pick Jillian as my trainer. I love Bob, but he wouldn't do it for me like Jillian or even Dolvet. You'll do great with the videos!! Just remember that you can take them at your own pace.

I may need you to remind me early on of this fact once I get them I have a tendency to jump in head first and not think until it's too late (read: hurt/injured) and then I'm sidelined for weeks.
--------------------

Did a bang up job with reward day Girl Scout cookies and out to dinner... OYE. Glad it's over.
Came home and caught up on a few episodes of Bates Motel...creepy-@$$ show and I love it

LC day today--so ready!

So, totally thought I was going to get tickets for the Biggest Loser finale... actually, I HAD them and then the producers cut down on the amount of people they wanted in the audience, so half of us were "cut"... SO BUMMED!

New month! Hoping to get off at least 5-6 pounds this time..

I passed on the girl scout cookies this year--so may co-workers and friends have kids that are selling them, and it's soooooo hard to resist thin mints!

Hope you're having a nice weekend....Happy February! 5-6 for the month sounds like a great plan!

Waving hi to Danielle and friends! Good ending to the month for you Dani! I read a good portion of Chris' $2.99 kindle book and am battling about trying it.. The deprivation on my fast days just make me more stressed than I already am and I usually end up giving in at about 3PM.. My brain can't handle all these "failures"..

I've been brainwashed about the intermittent fasting concept. I truly believe it's great for weight loss and health, IF a person can do it. And, the carb cycling plan (and others similar) say we are supposed to eat every few hours..

Who are we to believe?? Can they all work for awhile? Does it make sense to try one for a couple of months and then another?

LOL - I am not asking you for answers.. just expressing my confusion as to who is right??!!

Thanks for listening! Take care!
