Thank you for proving that big girls CAN run. And run well.

Thank you for showing me that if you can do it, so can I.

Had a great food day yesterday... LC day was right on calories and 1 gallon of water done by 3pm. Took a rest day from exercise because my right knee is bothering me..... it's something that's plagued me for years, and the doc has no clue what it is I'm thinking it's just my weight, but what do I know, right?

HC day today cannot come soon enough...I craved bananas all day yesterday... and apples. Go figure, eh? Always what we can't have when we want them. Trying a new protein shake recipe today...it has peanut butter in it

Ohhh Dani, I came on just in time to read that very inspirational post above! The lengths those will go to better themselves is miraculous. Just you seeing her and watching her actions made me realize that we all can do this .....there is no limits to how far we can push ourselves. I too imagine about others journeys.....She was brave and strong enough to not worry about what others thought, regardless.

I had an aha moment this morning walking with my DD15. She had went on a walk with my mom on Wed. evening and she told me this morning, " You should of seen Gma (as she calls her) jog the other night!" I was like what....really?!

My mom, 55, 50lbs overweight jogging? I was floored. I am proud of my mom for taking those lil steps....and just doing it. If she can...So can I !

Well Dani, You have done exceptionally well! You've made soo many changes and your results are nothing short of awesomness!!!! KUTGW hun!

Well, I went and did it. I hurt myself. Yep....me and my own 2 feet

Headed down a flight of stairs with both hands full and my feet literally went over my head and I landed on my lower back/tailbone..and proceeded to bounce down about 4 steps.. Of course the stuff I'd been carrying went flying everywhere, even a bottle of windex smacking me in the head on the way down.. Thankfully I had the forethought to carry my phone in my pocket.. which I almost left upstairs on my bed, thinking I'd be right back to grab a few things again..Thought better of it and jammed it in my pocket.. Texted DH and informed him, that yes, once again, his klutzy wife managed to roll down the stairs again I have a huge huge thing for stairs and always getting hurt! Luckily I was able to hobble my way to the couch and start breathing again.. I'm hurtin this afternoon for sure, and kinda wondering if I'm gonna be able to sit through a 2 hour movie tonight Oh, and I've got a huge case of "road rash" on my left arm where I guess I skidded down the steps on it, too..

Lisa, it's wonderful to see you again!

Carol, I have a couple of girlfriends who do nothing but hula hoop...one even goes to classes with it I feel like I need to push myself some more and quit being afraid to get fit!

Liv, hey girl! Yeah, I am finding motivation in the least likely places lately.. the universe must be speaking to me! Proud of your mom, that's pretty amazing!

OMG DANI! are you ok? Stairs are not the business.....I've had my share of tumbles....a few with my lil one in my arms......

Oye, road rash! At least you are in good spirits even though you were banged around. Rest up and take some pain reliever. yikes. I'm glad you're ok.

OUCH! I hope you're okay. I'm sure you'll be a little tender for a few days. I'm sure glad I don't have stairs in my house, for that very reason. Take care!

Ugh. Hurting. Hurting. Hurting.

Scale was up 2lbs. Really?

I'm thinking it's inflammation, PMS, and a big healthy dose of trauma

Headed into a slingshot (all HC days) week this week. Got a lot of work to do to get the scale going back in the right direction.

So, on top of the knee stuff, now I'm limping along like a way old lady

OMG Dani! I hope you are feeling a little better today. You were lucky. A fall down the stairs can end up being much worse. And those two pounds up are definitely inflammation and trauma pounds. They will disappear as you mend.

You need to buy one of those chairs that you sit in to go up and down the stairs. Much safer.

Yikes, D....I've done that before, but I only bounced my tailbone off 3 stairs. Hope you're feeling ok today!! It seems to be worse after a day or two.

Danielle I hope you are feeling better. Thank goodness it wasnt worse. I'm glad you had your phone on you. I worry about the stairs myself. Ours are carpeted and I always get nervous walking down them in socks, which I do alot.

Hey girls! Thank you so much for checking on me

Had a couple days just stuck in bed because of my fall. I think I'm finally starting to feel alittle more human today....altho' I cannot stand up straight yet

Food has been so-so. Not necessarily off plan, just not been eating my 5x a day..I had some bouts of nausea the last few days as well, so this kept me from really partaking in a lot. Omitting calories wreaks havoc on the scale so that kinda sucks still.

Right now just working on getting more mobile and walking without any pain. The days have been long!!

TOM did her damage as well, so really just want this week to be over already

Did anyone happen to catch Biggest Loser last night? I love makeover week!! They looked amazing!

I'm so glad you checked in D - I was starting to worry! Sounds like a rough few days. I'm so sorry! Don't worry about food/weight right now. The important thing is getting back on your feet.

I have BL on my DVR and haven't watched it yet. I love makeover week too!

Judy, Carol, Monica I'm trying really hard to feel better. I start to and then it starts to hurt again.. Just trying to tread lightly and see what happens.

Food was just "ok" yesterday. I ended up out to lunch with a really good friend of mine whom I hadn't seen in a very long time. We ended up munching tortilla chips and I had a couple fries. I did great with my entrée though, so I'm proud. Salad, veggies, and grilled chicken... and I didn't eat it all. I, however, did not get all my water in. Definitely feeling it this morning with the "poof"..

2 more HC days and then I'm back on cycle. I cannot wait!

You poor thing! I'm sure it will take a little time to get rid of all the achies from a fall like that. You're a tough cookie, though. You'll be back to 100% soon.

Thanks, Carol. I'm trying to be tough, but man, it's been "a week".. I got the triple whammy and I'm just thankful today is the last day of High Carb....cracks me up how every time I have this week of HC I am so thankful to go back to cycling.. I tell ya, that guy, Chris, knows what he's doing...gets you to be appreciative of those LC days

Hey girl! Have a great weekend!
------------------------------

Long night...I slept very little. For whatever reason my back really started hurting yesterday and then proceeded to just ache and throb All. Night. Long. No idea what I did to it to create the pain but it kept me up pretty much all night. So I am draggin today Doesn't help that it's going to be overcast today... maybe I will actually get some rest and sleep?

Last day of slingshot. YES! I cannot wait for a Low Carb day tomorrow!!!
I have missed my fat, and dreaming about avocados last night
Ooooo and eggs! It's the little things, I tell ya!

Still debating about moving.. I don't really wanna I'm thinking we'll prolly just stay put for awhile, no sense moving when neither one of us is really inspired to do so. I think I'm just going to paint and maybe buy a few things to redecorate. Oh, and I still have to find new bedding for the "new bed" we got like 6 months ago

Anywho, it's the weekend! It's been a long long week and I'm glad that I don't have to get up and go right away in the a.m. with DD... maybe I'll sleep in? Doubt it! Anyone doing anything fun this weekend??

Ugh, here's the numbers for today. Blech.

wow...haven't been on the boards in a while (fell off the wagon last weekend with the family being here and haven't managed to climb back on yet)....sorry to hear about your fall! Back pain is not fun and so easy to aggravate it once again when you're starting to recover...take care and lay low.

Glad to hear you're still in the groove with CP! Love that this WOE is working so well for you. Still searching for my answer, but not giving up.
