It never gets easier. Still a little teary-eyed this morning I'm just thankful that he's not gone clear across the country to go to school!
--------------------------------

Another good food day in the books. I got in a 3 mile walking dvd too. I got in alittle over a gallon of water without feeling like I was gonna float away.

Reward day today.

Not sure what we're doing today...if anything as DH works late tonight. I would love to go to a movie, we haven't been in a couple weeks. Hhhmmmmm

DD is still sick. She's been in bed literally for 2 days so far. Hoping today will be a turning point for her where she feels like sitting up for a little while. Poor kid. DD19 is up and running, so thankfully it passed quicker for her.

Good morning! Mmm chipotle! I always crave their guac, good stuff! Good job getting your walk in, I think I finally found my motivation to get active -- we'll see how this goes! Yikes -- sorry to hear your girls have been sick. I'm glad I have a long way to go before my little one is off to college, I imagine that being tough!

Have a great weekend!

The more you honor your integrity, the more you grow your dignity.

This was on my front page at CP's site. I know I've read it in his book, but it was nice to see it again in big bold letters today.

Mmmmm......all this talk about Chipotle and Sweet Tomatoes is making me hungry! Not good on a DD morning!

I hope DD17 gets to feeling better today. Sorry about DS going away, but I'm awfully glad he got to come home and spend some time.

Have a lovely day!

I know what you mean Danielle. When I put DS19 and his friend on the plane back to school it was bittersweet. I only get to see him on the holidays but he throws the household into an uproar each time he comes home. LOL. I miss him though already. He's my buddy.

I'm beyond thrilled and a little embarrassed that I had no clue that Sweet Tomatoes was part of the Soup Plantation Very cool though and now DH and I have some place new to try for lunch dates!
DD17 is still sleeping. I have a feeling she is growing again too...lately her joints have been hurting and I noticed her pants getting a little high waters Sleep is the best medicine huh? I am so beyond glad that DS got to be home for a few weeks! Sent him home with a few cheap healthy meal ideas so the kid may actually attempt to cook something

Sheesh, it never gets easier does it! Yep, total chaos while he's been here...everything, from meal planning to house keeping

I am frozen. My toes are like little ice cubes and I am buried under blankets and a pair of socks

We're going to dinner and a movie tonight. I have been informed.

Had never heard of Soup Plantation or Sweet Tomatoes (we don't have either in NY) but headed to Florida for the month of February and looked up and there is one fairly close to where we are staying....sounds like my kind of place!!

Don't waste your time with Wolf of Wall Street....total waste of three hours of my life in my opinion.

HA! Sherrie, I've already seen it! Saw it last week. I liked it. The story is interesting, but could have done without the 500-something F-bombs that were thrown...typical Scorsese film.

So D guess what I am having this hair issue I made an appt to get hair extensions in Vegas, I am nervous she said it might be $500-$600 do you know anything about them? I sent her a pic of my hair in the back where it all broke off she says she can fix it! Then I was like duh what am I going to do here in PA I guess find someone that can help me with them? Since you are the hair gal I am seeing what you know!

Wow, I really have no help to offer regarding extensions That's a great idea, I dunno if I'd have ever thought of that I hope it gives you what you're looking for!!
--------------------------

Great reward day! Stayed within my calorie limit and got my gallon of water in. We even skipped the popcorn at the movies because we were so full from dinner. I never skip popcorn! We saw Lone Survivor. WOW. Powerful movie... I was bawling by the end. Intense as hell. God love our military!

LC day today. I am SO ready for it. Working on finishing the housework I didn't get done while DS was here, along with getting in a good workout this afternoon. Slept in about an extra 90min. so now I'm kinda running around to play catch-up. DD17 is starting to feel better, thankfully. Poor kiddo. DS is all situated at college and already busily working on new music with his band! Oh, and DD19 moved out yesterday...guess I get my workout room afterall

Thanks Stacy!

Quiet morning.... the sun is hiding and all this dark is making me sleepy all over again. Time to get a move on and find some productivity!

Food was good yesterday. I think perhaps a little too salty, but all is well.

DD17 is finally feeling good....and no one else is sick.

Thanks Sherrie! It's all about that transformation that I'm after.. The weight loss is almost secondary to the changes that are happening within. Notice, I said, almost... I think it's making it easier to do the weightloss thing because the thinking is changing and I'm believing more in myself.

Oh, I have no doubt that everyone and their mother will pass me the first few races I do The very idea of even signing up for something like this terrifies me, but I am really trying to work on stepping out of my comfort zone this year!
--------------------------------

Great LC food day. Got in 2 mile walk before DH and I headed out for the day.. when he's home the days go by in an absolute blur! Today's another one of those days and I have no idea what the day holds. ♥
Got in my 1 gallon of water...just barely! Being out of the house all day long leads to difficulties in getting it all in without visiting every toilet in the vicinity

DD17 feeling better and headed back to class.

Happy Monday Dani and friends! Hey girl, looks like you got yourself another new low! Woo Hoo!!

I'm *hanging in* over here and splitting my internet time between Facebook, an alcohol forum and LCF. I really need to cut down on my internet time to get some things done.. especially make some time for exercise!

My mood is a bit better because the cold snap is outa here, and I've been nicely busy. Also, I am planning a road trip for DH and I to the Grand Canyon and Sedona for spring. Via Route 66 - so that should break up the long drive as we see pieces of the past along the road. I am always happiest when planning a vacation!

Have a great day! I'm treating myself to a massage today!

Hey Dani!! Congrats on the new low. You know, the positive attitude is the most important part on the journey for transformation. Your attitude is most definitely helping you succeed long term on this plan. I love it!!

You should definitely sign up for a 5k. It was a lot of fun - I ran mine alone a few months ago. Finishing felt so amazing.

Yeah, I dunno it must be magic All of a sudden I can actually see myself at goal and belief that *I* can get myself there! Amazing what a little faith in yourself can create....all it started with was the tiniest of a spark.

Never a dull moment around here, eh? Things turn on a dime! The affirmations are helping me big time I'm surviving the "great move-out"....she thinks she's so grown up but she's got no real clue what it's like in the real world...this will be wake up call for her.

Thanks honey!
DD is a bit of a drama queen and she's in that part of life where she thinks everything's better *over there*... so, off she went. DH thinks this will be good for her to get a good healthy dose of reality. Eventually she'll figure out she's done it all backwards and that she's tired of bumming rides off people or taking the bus-- she refused to save her money for a car! Ugh, I can't get used to DS being gone. First born and all that I guess? Kills me everytime, too!

If it's any consolation, my eldest DD and I became quite good friends after she moved out (at 18). No butting heads everyday, etc. My youngest two said they learned from DD the Elders 'mistake' and stayed as long as they could. My DS was the last to move out (aaaand he's back).

Still dropping the lbs! Fantastic!

Ha! You're 2 youngest were no dummies were they? Well, me being the oldest I kinda broke the mold for the other sisters to follow so they had it MUCH easier than I ever did.. I was so glad to move out! However, my upbringing could not be further than what our kids had..made sure on purpose. But, like I said, DD19 has a flair for the dramatics Drives her brother NUTS! He enjoys being on his own, but at the same time, he was content being home....he takes care of business though--kept his room clean, saved money, went to school, etc.. DD19 wants to do none of that.. So yea, of course we're gonna question things...we want more for them than what we had! UGH, I could go on and on about that one.
She's hopefully going to start to understand and realize just how much we do for her.. She's gonna have a rude awakening soon as daddy is cutting her cell phone off unless she wants to pay it.. Big girl, real world. He's not playing any games and I think he's reached his end point with her. *sigh*

Anyways, yes, trying to keep the lbs coming off! However, yesterday was a LC day and I almost always lose "something" the day after, not go UP. I hope this isn't a forecast into what's to come this week.

You sound like such a good mama. Your kids are lucky, whether they know it or not!

I love your comment that you can "see" yourself at goal. I am a big believer in visualization and have been trying to set aside time to visualize my big life goals. I'm still struggling to make it a part of my routine every day, but I'll get there. I do believe your subconscious can start working on things if you give it the right information.

And nice new low, BTW!
