Very helpful tool
After reading a recent post about how keeping a journal is very helpful, in which I replied I have a hard time doing that, I decided to think about a way that would work for me.
So I started a blog and I post almost everyday what I ate throughout the day. I don't keep track of weights and measures yet, but if/when I do, I will start doing that also.
Every week I also make a youtube video with my progress and lessons learned for the week.
I definitely feel a lot more accountable this way. Especially since my YouTube Videos are actually being looked at by other people. ha ha

It really does help to track, not only your food, but your emotions and how you're feeling, etc. Soon you begin to see patterns that make the ups and downs so much easier to handle.
I was just reading over my online journal from 10 years ago when I first started LC. It was so great and motivating to read it again. I was reminded of all the times I worried about small gains, worried it wasn't going to work, etc. And then I got to see all those photos of myself at goal. Reminded me how much I want to be back there again.
You're making a commitment via your journal to make this a way of life - and that's the key to success! It's just a matter of time. :shake:
