Girl you are one busy lady!! I hear you about work too, would love to not go sometimes, but that pesky thing called bills is making me go..

The exercise will come when you are ready to do it, and in the meantime you also have school, plus family!! WOW... How long do you have till you finish school?

Good luck to you in these next weeks! You can do whatever you set your mind to!

Happy Tuesday. Just checking in. It's been a few days. All is well. Eating is okay. Honestly, I haven't been 100% low carb, but I'm working on it. I haven't been over consuming food either which is a good thing. No ice cream in a minute I've been under a lot of stress and that is my #1 go to treat for relaxation (lol).

I'm down a total of 4 pounds since starting my journal I'll take whatever at this point just as long as I'm NOT gaining

Okay, off to Walmart to do some shopping for the house. I hope you all have a good day

Sorry I haven't checked in. I've been extremely busy. I finally returned to work, but was told we could only work on 'shutdown' related task for 4 hours and then clock out to go home. No word when we can return to our agency.

Anyways, I managed to work out (elliptical) on Wednesday at the gym. Then I went swimming on Thursday. I wanted to hit the pool again today, but I was so tired from yday that I didn't wake up in time this morning. I may go tomorrow. I think I'll just focus on swimming laps right now as I enjoy it more than anything else right now. OH, and it doesn't feel like a chore AND its like cardio and weights in one session. They say 20 minutes swimming laps is like 1 hour in the gym. I can't beat that!

I managed to maintain the 6 pounds I lost last month. I'm so happy about this because now that I'm working out again, I will eat clean and the weight will start to go downward. I was 228 last month. I started this month off at 222 which is a low for me.

I'm encouraged to continue on. I have a LONG way to go, but it's okay! I'll get there.

Have a good weekend. Hugs.

I'm starting a jumping jacks/squats challenge today along with swimming 3 days a week. Wish me well

Well, off to start my day. Have a good one. I'll check journals later....

How is this going for your husband? Was he ever on Atkins? I am switched things up and am now living a Pescetarian lifestyle (since August). Like your husband for some reason I became turned off by meat. I actually get nauseas thinking of it at times and this is coming from a woman who once did an all meat diet.

Anyway I hope to come around more often and will be sure to come in here and cheer you on!

Meek, that's awesome! Slow and steady is best for long term results.

Hope things balance out with work, school, and home.

Hi Friends. Sorry I haven't been here in about 2 weeks. I've been extremely busy, as you all know

All is well. I hit my lowest of 219; however, I'm stabilizing around 220-222. It's all good. I'm starting a CLEAN induction today for the next 2-weeks. I'll let you all know how that goes!

Menu for the next 2-weeks:

B: 3 bacon, 1 HB egg, tea or coffee
L: Salad veggies topped with baked or rotis chicken, dressing
S: Olives, pickle, pork rinds, or SF jello
D: Protein and veggies
Water: 100oz per day

I'll try to fit in a work out here and there when I have time.

Be back in 2-weeks with my results.

Have a great week!!

YES!! I just started today.. I HAVE to do something serious. I am not in the mood for a round of HCG, so I am putting it all into a week of strict Atkins 72. So far so good..

I had forgotten how little carbs were actually allowed in week one. I had been tweaking this and that, when really it is time to just get back to the simple beginnings of Atkins.. it works!

Amen, girlfriend!!

I will post daily so you can hold me accountable I know a good solid week is all we need to continue on this journey. I keep reminding myself that after 72 hours, I won't have to struggle or be afraid of cravings because they will be gone!! .

I shall continue to hold on.... I can do this! WE CAN DO THIS!!!

I'm excited too, girl. I have been failing at Atkins all because I was afraid of cravings. It wasn't until yesterday that I realize that if I could just reach ketosis, the cravings would disappear. I'm so over this fat suit.

It's time for me to shed this fat and get healthy again...and I know in my heart that Atkins is my tried and true plan that will help me get there!

I'm all in... NO TURNING BACK!!

I think we both came to realization at the same time for a reason... I am all i too!!! SO TIRED of this fat suit.. so very tired.

Ok girl, here we go!!! Day one half way over for me. I was not hungry this morning so had some coffee with my allotment of cream.

Lunch was Chicken tenders in mayo and rolled in pork rinds crushed fried in olive oil. SO GOOD. dill pickles

Dinner.. pork chops and a small salad.

Snack if I need it will be cheese ..

Have a great rest of the day!!
