+0.8 to 129.4. Getting accustomed to my daily ups & downs. Still eating clean and doing my daily exercises. Though I was a little sore this morning. Haven't really picked it up too much though I am doing about 40 min now vs 30 min a few days ago. I do feel stronger though I really don't do anything strenous but it is better than nothing at all which is what I did for almost 20 years !

Looking forward to the long weekened and relaxing at home. No big plans just a lot of doing nothing and some bbq steaks and grilled veggies are the menu. No cravings for anything in particular. May have a glass of wine since it's been a while but other than that steady which is pretty good.

+.4 to 129.8. Getting too close to 130.2 which my CD number. It's funny because I do fully anticipate to go down tomorrow as I will be sleeping my extra weekend hours. I know in my head I have eaten the same, exercised the same, done everything exactly the same and these are numbers I routinely see on the scale. But how I feel at 129.8 vs 128.8 or 127.8...and how 2 lbs changes my mood is so silly but it's my reality. It's not something I share with anyone even my husband because it's embarrasing to say out loud. People just don't get it. But they're my feelings and I swear it feels like I feel every little extra ounce so I won't discard my feelings.

So today just eating the same which is big for me because normally when I am too close to whatever number I have in my head I tend to cut carbs or do something . Planning on sticking to my original plan, eat the same, exercise the same & if tomorrow the scale hits 130.2 then do a GY day otherwise leave it alone. Harder than it seems and I can't make any promises that I still won't do a CD if it hits 130.0 but baby steps...

Exactly! I feel the same! My goal wt. is 128... I did drop down below that, but my window was between 128-130, back & forth... its back in that window now, & I do have that "good feeling" again, but still like being lower better. You're doing great to work through this day! I really hope you get the drop tomorrow!

Woke up after my 3 extra hours of weekend sleep to 128.6 which is a -1.2 drop So a great lesson and reminder for me. Keep at it, don't jump to fix things when they aren't broken. This also may explain why the last 2 times I did CDs when I was around 129ish I was able to drop my regular 2 to 2 1/2 lbs but a few days after I go back up to 128 which seems where my body all on it's own is stabilizing.

So enjoying the weekend, did some light shopping and after a quick breakfast of GY and berries with coffee and HWC barbecuing some rib eye steaks for lunch !

Yahoo! So happy for you! I came here looking to see how it turned out, first thing this morning. Nice that you got to sleep in too... so did I, 1.5 hrs. Are you on fp for calories? I'd like to look at your menu's.
Have a great day!

STS so at 128.6 & a happy girl. Enjoying the weekend and just relaxing at home with the family. Today had a big breakfast of 4 pieces of bacon, 2 egg omelet with a tbsp of quesadilla cheese, 100 cal pack of guacamole and half a cantaloupe with some 2% cottage cheese. I found these flax seed sprinkle 50 calorie packs at Marshalls of all places. I also found 100 cal snack packs of edamame. So I used a little of the flax seed on my fruit yesterday & today (not the whole thing) since it is pretty effective in getting things going in the bathroom area

Lunch will be another bbq of thin rib eye steaks and some grilled veggies. Not sure about dinner, maybe ground chicken with asparagus and mushrooms.

Feeling really good about exercising and yesterday added a few reps with light weights. Right now want to work on toning on arms and then focus on my stomach and then thighs.

Oh wow that sounds delish! Thanks for sharing. I see your diary is off at fp.
Whoo Hoo! Wt. stable!! I've found shallow push-ups & backward pushups (on a chair) also shallow... to be the most effective thing for toning the flappy arms...
Have a great day!

Good idea. I've noticed I'm getting some definition to the outer part of my arms & I am seeing less of the saggy skin on the inner arm but I need some more work. My lower legs look good but my thighs or from an inch above the knee need a lot of work ! I would love t be able to wear shorts by next summer if I keep at the exercise.

Doing a little experiment & since it's a long weekend I thought today would be a good day. So I'm upping my calories a bit. I've been pretty low the last few weeks not really going over 1350. I would like to be in the 1400-1500 range since I feel for my weight & exercise level that while it's still on the low side it's better than what I've been doing. Particularly if I want to pick up my exercise level in the next few weeks I may need to add more calories.

I had about 1300 on Fri/ 1273 on Sat & today 1417 so let's see tomorrow. I bought some amazing fresh quesadilla Mexican cheese that I've been adding to my breakfast omelet and to my veggies at dinner. How I controlled myself to add an ounce to each meal I don't know Old days I would of just eaten half the bag with a Coke in front of the TV !!

Sounds good,
That's my aim too, to build up the metabolism.
What do you do for your legs exercise? I've found walking, elliptical & ski machine to be good for the legs.
That cheese does sound yummy! anything Mexican in fact!

I do my recumbent exercise bike. I'm also doing lots of stretching. I was thinking of asking for another exercise machine for Christmas, maybe a rower or elliptical.

The elliptical will work your whole body, I'm not familiar with what a rowing machine works on, but don't imagine it would do the over-all body toning. I was impressed when after doing elliptical only & we went for a hike, the I had no problem keeping up with the regular hikers. I knew I was in better shape, but when it comes right down to actually doing an activity, amazingly I was ready! You can keep changing it up as you need more of a challenge also.
I bought a force flex last year, to add wt training to my work-outs (recommended for those over 50). I really enjoy it & notice the results from that too.
I had a ski machine for years, but dh didn't want all of those in the living room, so I loaned it out... miss it a little... also have a small re-bounder. When I'm really motivated I do a circuit. But with the new pup, & summer, I'm doing outdoor walks more (really can't beat walking). Use a tracker on my i phone to see how long, fast & far I go... so I can up the anti on that.

Woke up today and not hungry after I slept in and not hungry. Weird but didn't push it so I went to BJ's and got some things we needed & got back around 11:30 and had half a cantaloupe with cottage cheese and coffee w/hwc. Lunch will be around 12:30 and got a rotiserrie chicken for hubby and me to share. I'll pick on that for dinner as well. Just got a think of a veggie.

Dinner yesterday I made zoodles with zucchini/yellow squash and portabella mushrooms and it was super yummy. I put a small pat of butter and an ounce of the quesadilla cheese and delicious. Might do that again.

Here's a picture of last night's dinner. Ground Curry Chicken, zoodles & my bran crispbread crackers. I had the crackers with sugar free apricot & raspberry preserves.

Thanks DebbyL so far I am leaning toward the elliptical. Now to find one that's reasonable and doesn't break the bank.

Morning. Back to work routine so up at 6 am and even though I always hope that I'll see weekend numbers but oh well. +1.4 to 129.8 which is my regular Monday morning number but now on Tues. Anyway I'm used to it and by the weekend it'll go back down. I am getting used to my regular fluctuations and that is huge for me.

Not doing anything special. I have picked up the pace on my exercise routine and while a little sore I do feel fantastic !

You're doing so good! Actually, if your muscles are sore, you've got water in them... so that would show on the scale too So many things effect that scale number

Today I decided to change my rules a bit. I woke up after a poor night's sleep since I woke up at 3:30 am and it took me an hour to go back to sleep. I'm also a bit crampy which checking my phone app tells me I'm ovulating and ever since I passed 40 the 2 or 3 weeks before tom can be brutal. I'm feeling work stress and also pretty tired.

So that being said, the scale was +.8 to 130.6. Now my rule is hit 130.2 which is 2 lbs over my ldw during HCG and do a CD. I do have the full fat GY in the fridge and I was about to go downstairs and grab it & then I stopped. I stopped because I knew the reason for the gain. It was nothing I ate or did. It's nature telling me I need more sleep and my hormones are kicking in. So why add to that stress with another stressor of a CD ?

So I just took my regular lunch and not changing a thing though I will try to go to sleep a little earlier today and drink lots of water. Now if tomorrow the scale continues to climb then yup I will do my GY day. But for now I think I'll be doing the "Two Day" rule. As long as I haven't eaten off plan then I'll wait 2 days before doing a CD if the scale is up over 130.2. I'm just trying to let my body regulate itself without me always jumping in there. If I see a climb 2 days in a row after I hit that 130.2 then step in otherwise just let things work themselves out.

Woke up STS 130.6 but I need to nip it in the bud just in case. So doing my GY day. I's almost 1300 calories and it should settle my stomach. I had planned on it today anyway since I don't want to go into the weekend higher than I have been all month. I did sleep better yesterday but I am getting a cold Haven't been sick in almost a year. So taking lots of Vitamin C and probably will just skip exercise today and rest when I get home from work. Haven't decided on Friday's menu yet but want to keep it simple since I'm not feeling 100 %.

GY works as usual down -2 to 128.6 which is last weeks most often seen weight. So while not horrendously sick thanks to mega doses of Vitamin C still under the weather and achy/tired/throat bothers etc. Yesterday just ate my GY and napped on and off on the couch the moment I got home from work. No energy for exercise or much else.

Today leaving work at 2 pm and I have ny bi-weekly mani/pedi appointment that I never miss. This weekend just plan on sleeping in and resting as much as possible and hope this cold passes soon. Will take the exercise thing one day at a time as I feel up to it. At least it's Friday.

Up +.4 to 129.0 which is not bad at all after a CD for me. I think the extra sleep helped as usual. Cold is still there and I'm still definitely under the weather but it's manageable. Which is another thing I've noticed since I lost all this weight. When I was overweight I would get seriously sick 3 or 4x a year. Enough that I would miss work and would be sick for several weeks and my symptoms would be 100 x worse than this current cold. This is my first cold in over a year and while uncomfortable with minimal cold meds I haven't missed work and still have done my regular chores around the house. Yesterday I even felt with enough energy to do 35 min of exercise and I baked !!

Here's the recipe I found on LCF which I doctored a bit : Berry Flax Seed Muffins

The recipe is simple : 1 cup flax seed meal, 1/4 cup olive oil, 2 tablespoons butter, 3 large eggs, 1/2 a teaspoon of baking soda and baking powder, 1 cup sweetener of choice, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, cinnamon to taste, pinch of salt. I added a tablespoon of sugar free ghiradelli baking cocoa and put a raspberry and blueberries on top. Baked at 350 for 15 to 17 min. Also it's important to let the batter sit like 5 min after mixing and it thickens a bit before putting them in the muffin tins. Each was approx 248 cal, 2.1 net carbs, 21.7 fat g. I had it today for breakfast with some sf grape jelly and a dollop of whipped cream I'm sure I could of cut calories but I wasn't in the mood to tweak last night. The highest calorie count was the olive oil but they are soooo moist I think it's worth it lol

Woke up down -1.0 to 128.0 Really did nothing but relax, eat my foods as planned and exercise regularly. Feeling a little better from my cold at least. I did eat more protein than normal but carbs were not that low, net 33. I guess I was trying to see if I could repeat it but like always I think as long as I eat on plan, sleep, exercise things work themselves out.

It's going to be a hectic week for me. Tomorrow its going to be a long day. After work I hubby and I are taking DS to his first appointment for his pshyco-educational evaluation. It's a 3 step process but it's important so we can find out if there are any learning disabilities. Then Tues his Invisalign braces are in and he has his first appointment at the dentist and I have a Home & School meeting at 7:30 pm. All this and work, homework, and I need to try and fit in exercise and my 8 hour eating schedule in all that
