Okay, I will PM you so you can make the same face my husband did. I will warn you, it is different. (I don't want to post here because I don't want criticism or opinions and you just never know what people will say on a forum, LOL)

OMG, I am so bad about posting here! I will be 30 weeks on Wed! ACK!!!!! Our house isn't done yet....cabinets will be installed this next week, trim carpenter will be there next week, then the painting, then installing flooring, the exterior still needs to be done, etc etc. I really want to be in the house before she is here! I got into the tub at the store when I picked it out to make sure I could give birth in it, for crying out loud! LOL

I have a new doctor. I told him what my numbers were doing and he said that GD is way overdiagnosed and he would suggest that I don't have it and that I didn't have it last time either. Um, I had an 11 lb baby, how does one do that without some sort of glucose problem? So I asked for Metformin and he prescribed it for me. It has helped a little, my fastings are averaging at 105, so they are still too high. I may need insulin, it will be interesting to see what he says at my next appt.

How are you Amber?

Hey girl!! Did the contractor say you'd be in the house soon? It sounds like it may be close.

Yeah, my husband's mom wasn't diagnosed with GD but he was almost 12 pounds. I'm pretty sure something was going on. I'm glad the metformin is helping some. Hang in there! You are almost done. 10 weeks or less to go and your daughter will be in your arms!!

I'm doing okay. Busy season at work is keeping me super busy. I'm enjoying it immensely. The distraction is very nice.

33 weeks, up 14 pounds total and I am happy with that. I didn't gain anything in the past 2 weeks. I am on Metformin and Glyburide for the "undiagnosed GD" and it is working great so I'm happy! The house is stressful, I have not enjoyed the building process at all. We are still unsure if we will be in the house in time.

Wow! You are doing great, 14 pounds is nothing!!! Hope the stress eases up for you. Anything involving real estate is always stressful beyond the max!!!

House update: trim carpenters finished today, painters start tomorrow, siding is going up now. Next is flooring! I don't have very many pics, will try to take some after the interior paint is done!

No, we aren't. I am not very hopeful that we will be in before baby is here. I am 36 wks tomorrow and all of the flooring still needs to go in, the water service still needs to go in, the lagoon needs to be finished, exterior needs painted, finishing concrete needs poured. My husband is doing all of the wood and tile so it will take longer than if a crew was doing it. It's a good thing this is our forever home because I would never build again, it's been a total pain.

I have been working really, really hard on packing up the apartment and getting all unnecessary stuff out of the way so if we do add one more person in here, it won't feel so overwhelming.

I will totally join you on Atkins soon, Amber! I am still at +14 for this pregnancy so I should lose quite a bit after she's born. I think I might be back to around 200-210 instead of the 230 I had ballooned up to before getting pregnant. I have a friend (who I met on this site) who is a BeachBody coach so I ordered a couple different workouts (T25 and 21 Day Fix) that are 30 mins or less and I'm really excited to start those once I am ready. I know myself and there is NO way I will make it to the gym with 4 kids over the summer. The baby will surely nap 30 mins a day for me to get a workout in and the other kids can just join me.

That's so awesome that the house is so close. I can't wait to see pictures of it and hear more about it. It does sound like a PITA to build, but it also sounds wonderful. A lagoon? Awesome!!

And congrats on being 36 weeks!! You are close now. Will you wait after she's born before restarting your diet? My sister does T25 and has had great results. She loves it. She works a ton of hours and has 2 kids and says it fits into her day perfectly.

LOL A lagoon in these here parts is the term for your sewage pond when you have acreage. Not as glamorous as you were imagining!!!

Yes, I am waiting until all of the stresses are more manageable before I start an eating plan...I am way too stressed to think about much right now. I am eating fairly LC but I do have to eat more carbs than I would normally so I don't get hypoglycemic with the meds I'm on.

We welcomed Poppy Mae on April 24th at 11:45 pm. She was born at home, delivered by DH and was 8 lbs 6 ozs & 20.5 inches long. She is a wonderful, beautiful blessing and we are SO in love with her.
