Yes Laura, they give you just the right amount of crunch and salt. It almost feels like popcorn.

So day 14 was a little rough. I did fine until I went to my cousins house for a party. I didn't eat off plan, but there was cheese out and I kept eating it. At least I didn't eat any of the desserts. All in all, I guess a few extra ounces of cheese is not such a big deal. I also ate some veggies with dip. Again, not so bad but they were certainly not on my plan for the day.

Parties are usually a deal breaker for me so I felt quite accomplished.

Today is Day 16. Things are going fairly well. I have not been drinking enough water in addition to drinking diet sodas which I know is horrible for me. My goal is to cut them out sometime this week. I have some ideas rolling around in my head to try after reading some interesting articles. We shall see.

Even though I had a binge on Saturday, I am still keeping my count. Today is day 23. I am considering myself a success at this point because I jumped right back on yesterday and don't plan to have another day like Saturday again for a while. I don't know what comes over me! I'm so thankful that it made me so sick though. That's motivation enough not to do that again. By Saturday night, I couldn't even lift my arms up. If I got out of bed for any reason I would get so nauseous. I was still feeling the effects yesterday. Today is going to be a much better day.

Cfine- good for you for getting back on LC train. I think that's the key! You could have easily continued with the binge but you made smart decision.

Cfine, you are doing really well. Congratulations on your weight loss! And I agree with you about pistachios in the shell -- they are so perfect for me because I like salty snacks and you can eat these very slowly and one at a time.

Gailygail, I don't know what I would do without pistachios..lol

Today went really well. These are my latest things that I have out into my weight loss arsenal:
1. Cold therapy (Dr. Kruse)
2. Flavorless MCT oil twice per day between meals(definitely makes me feel less obsessive about food)
3. Giving up my diet sodas(for the third time)
4.measuring my water and making sure I drink 1/2 gallon per day)

Some of these things I have done in the past and just gradually stopped, and a couple are new strategies. The cold therapy makes me feel better. I love the way the ice feels on my belly. Weird, I know. Giving up the sodas is hard, but I always feel more in control without them. The more I drink the, the more I want them. At one point, I was drinking a whole gallon of water per day, but it was such a hassle to fit it in without staying in the bathroom all day. The half gallon is working out well.

Cfine -- good for you for giving up sodas and drinking the 1/2 gallon of water per day. Your skin must look amazing! What is the cold therapy? It sounds really interesting. I like your approach to your plan -- you seem passionate and committed in the best possible way.

Check out the thread in the Paleolithic/Neanderthin section on cold therapy that Key Tones started. You can also google Dr. Jack Kruse/cold therapy. Very interesting idea.

I ended up drinking almost a whole gallon of water today, with some unsweetened tea added in for good measure.

Day 25

Still doing well. Eating every meal at home is definitely helping my desire to binge, so I know it's the additives that they put in the food that causes a problem for me. Having a Paleo wrap every day at lunch is just what I needed. I've have egg salad, tuna salad, and chicken salad in my wraps and they so good. Tomorrow I'm having deli turkey with tomato and avocado. I hope I don't run out of wraps before my LC store gets more in. They are selling them faster than they can keep them in stock. Glad I bought extra. If I could eat corn without it causing bingeing issues I would get some of the LC corn tortillas, but I'm too scared to try it.

Laura, I bought the new Julian bakery paleo wraps and I absolutely love them. They are expensive but well worth the cost because I have quit eating out for the most part. I was really bad about eating out for lunch because nothing sounded good to eat. My lunch world has expanded considerably. They are basically just really thin dried coconut.

Day 26

Good day today. I have upped my butter consumption and quit the MCT oil. I think I lose better with more butter. Hopefully the scale is going to head in the downward direction soon! Once I quit the sodas it's no big deal. I am back to enjoying my tea. Also decided to add in a BPC every day again because it really curbs my appetite.

September 1. I love starting a new month, a new week, etc. it's like a clean slate. I have had a rough couple of days in the food department. It was completely my choice. My best friend is getting married next week, and we wanted a girls getaway weekend. Too much alcohol, too many carbs, and here I am feeling crappy. I am doing a pretty strict induction from today until the wedding. I want my stomach to be as flat as possible for the big day. Thank God she picked black for our dresses!!

Oh, btw, I lost 5 pounds in Augst and I am proud of that.

Cfine, congratulations on your weight loss in August! That is excellent. I hope you had a fun girls weekend. Staying on plan can be challenging when there are so many treats and alcohol around but it sounds like you navigated things just fine!

I feel like I am in the zone with my woe. It's a nice feeling. We went to the movies today and I took my usual snacks along. My friend wanted popcorn because it was cheap today and I didn't give in so she didnt either. It felt good to walk away. I knew it would only cause heartache and binge behavior. Plus she is getting married Saturday so she didnt need the carb bloat either. Yay for us!

Ok, here I am. I have been in wedding mode for about four weeks now and yesterday was the big day for my best friend. I ate the food, the cake, everything they had. It was good, but today it's back on plan.

Day 1

I am going to see how many days I can go with NO sugar, gluten, corn, rice. Yes, I'm weird and think this little game is fun. What's life if you can't play games every day?

And, BTW, even though I didn't hit my wedding goal of being under 200, I felt wonderful and pretty. The bride has lost 35lbs and she looked fabulous also.

Day 2-staying strong!

I have been in so much pain from eating gluten over the weekend. I guess I should be grateful as pain is a great motivator for staying on plan. I need to remember my own motto-do or don't do there is no try!! Maybe I should put it on a sticky and paste it to my forehead!

Day3

I think I have done a bad, bad thing. I got a new recipe from my all time favorite food blogger, and I just HAD to make the blondies she posted today. They are LC and GF, but when I tasted the caramel sauce I knew I had messed up. It was divine tasting!! I don't know how I will ever stay out of them. I plan to have ONE after dinner and I can't wait. There's nothing like chocolate, nuts, and caramel all mixed together. Oh my!!

Cfine- one suggestion would be not to make anything delicious I know when I have something delicious at home and it is LC I will eat it.
Well, you will do better tomorrow. I know when I have carb binge I feel like crap, it is so not worth it!
