Nice job with getting in the exercise despite the crappy weather!

I met with a personal trainer for our 1st session last night -- it was more of a fitness level test than a normal session. I am planning on doing bootcamp class tonight or Zumba.

Exercise update:

It's been raining off and on here in FL, so I've been doing in-house cardio.

Squats, crunches, and other On-Demand exercises. I've vowed to keep active and by all means necessary I am.

I love this and it's so true!

Jamie

I totally missed this. Sorry

Yes, the weather has been crappy here off and on. I'm looking for a good jump rope to keep me moving as well.

I did read in your journal about the session with the trainer. I want to join the Gym again, but that's another bill; so I'm trying to keep active without it right now.

Back 2 Business

The weekend was fabulous, spent some QT with my little sister. We had lunch on the beach at Quarterdeck and the food was delicious. I planned to eat whatever for that meal, and I did just that and got back to plan. I had a nice juicy cheeseburger with a few fries and stuck to water. I can't express how great it feels to know that food no longer controls me.

I think the jump rope is a great idea! When we used jump rope in a prior class I attended, it was soooo hard to me! Lol. Funny how some things you did as a kid seemed so easy then...

It's definitely an exercise that gets your heartrate up!

Happy Tuesday~

Yeah, I noticed that while playing around with my niece's jump rope. It's definitely nothing like when we were kids, lol

I'm looking for one that calculates the numbers of jumps and calories burned.

Not much to update, besides the fact that I've gotten passed the food temptations and it's times that I really don't have to eat, I do because I know my body needs it to keep fueling.

Also, my pants do feel a bit looser; not loose enough to pass them on, but looser than normal. That's a plus!

It's the weekend. Wishing us all an enjoyable one!

I plan to get some cardio in this weekend, by all means necessary; to start the week off on the right foot. Once I get really committed, it becomes second nature and that's what I need along with my WOE.

Good Afternoon,

Yesterday was super busy in the office, and I didn't get a chance to pop in and update. I got active over the weekend, and I'm glad I did. It felt really good to be back active and breaking a sweat. I'm counting down the days as we enter 2014; God's willing I'll walk into it much healthier, happier, and ready to be all that God called me to be in the New Year. Not that I'm not doing that now, but I'll have an accomplishment under my belt.

Hey Jamie, it's going good. I actually had a non-scale victory this morning with a pair of slacks I've been wearing for a while. I now need a belt.

Happy Sunday folks

God has such a sense of humor. Our bodies are His temple and he desires for us to be healthy and available for his use. In other words, he needs me whole. So while grocery shopping today, everything I had in mind to get for my meals next week; were on sale. Even got a few packs of Smoked Turkey breast to add to my salads for $.37 each pack.

Yeah, when the cashier scanned the first pack and I saw the price; I went back and grabbed 2 more packs, lol

It's the Hormel brand with no preservatives, and the regular price was $3.99 a pack; with a $3 off coupon and another $.62 off when I used my Winn Dixie card.

I'll use some for my salads and my husband loves Turkey sandwiches, so we'll use it up.

Meek. Yes that was such an awesome deal and it's going fast; between my salads and my husband's lunch sandwiches.

Thanks, I was playing around the other day with my new head wraps and decided to take some pics. The weekend flew by, but it was good. Hope the same for you.

Weekend OFF

Good Morning,

Hope all my readers had a fabulous weekend. I did, but I needed an extra day.

So I ate totally off plan, and today I feel bloated and just ugh. I'm back to the basics and to be honest, even though the food was good then, it really wasn't worth it.

An off meal would have been better, then an off weekend. Lots of junk to DETOX out my system again. Anywho, back to my fresh salads, lots of water, and protein.
