I will be so happy when TOM goes away. I know it's only been a few days, but I'm tired of it already! lol! I don't like anything messing up my weight loss. I just hope there is a woosh in my future when it leaves!

Yesterday I had:

a turkey sandwich (which I shouldn't have had, but it was good)
fish, salad, and a small scoop of green bean casserole (we went to Golden Corral)
two whole (four halves) deviled eggs

Today's a DD and I'm trying for all water. May have a hard boiled egg if I need something.

I made mayonnaise! I'm so flippin excited! I've tried to make it with my immersion blender. I tried to make it in my food processor. None worked. I tried again tonight with this whip thingy my DD got for Christmas (to make chocolate milk with) and it worked! Perfectly! I can't wait to make deviled eggs tomorrow with my homemade mayonnaise!!!!!

Is it an Aerolatte? I've got one of those and that's pretty exciting that I might be able to make mayo too!

Enjoyed myself a bit last night. Ate a few things I shouldn't, but I'm okay with it. It was an UD and I didn't go over my calories.

Hoping this year is better than last! Also hoping the weight loss continues.

Ugh...had too much pork. Not enough to go over 500 calories, but too much for my stomach. It just does not handle meat well.

Was hoping for a loss after yesterday's DD, but oh well. Going to just keep on and hopefully body will decide to drop some weight.

UD today:

b-1 cup blackberries (yum!), 1 whole (two halves) deviled egg
l-1 whole (two halves) deviled egg, package of pistachio's
supper-salmon (I think...it will be some kind of fish), cucumber with mayonnaise

sweet treat (if needed)-8 oz ginger ale

Oh good (about the mayo making). I can't wait to try that. Do you have a recipe you could share?

Good start, and you'll be in Onederland this month for sure. That will be so exciting!

Carol-I used a whole egg at room temperature, a dollop of dijon mustard, a little bit of salt, a touch of lemon juice, and a little less than a cup of sunflower oil. I've heard that cheap olive oil is the best to use as it doesn't really have a taste, but sunflower oil is what I had. It turned out very well! Sorry I can't give better amounts...I really did just throw stuff in a glass jar and give it a whirl! Let me know if you make it and how it turns out for you!

Oh! I put everything in the jar but the oil, and then while I held the mixer thing with one hand, I slowly poured the oil in with the other.

Thanks Jenn. I have the cheap olive oil, so I'll go with that. You cook like me. Throw a little of this in, a dash of that in. Nine times out of ten it comes out great!

Yea! Almost to where I was before Christmas/TOM! Might make Onderland before January is over...fingers crossed!

DD today. Trying for just water. That is always my DD goal. We'll see how it goes. Right now I'm doing fine. I may have some fish later if I get really hungry.

Carol-it all depends on what I'm making. Sometimes I will follow a recipe to the T, but a lot of times I do just throw stuff together!

Got hungry and made crab cakes. Ate 1 1/2 of them for about 125 calories. Should hopefully be good to go for the rest of the evening. At least, I hope so!

so my calories ended up being a teensie bit more than I thought they would be, but still way under 500. I got really hungry and had a small piece of chocolate and a few nuts. Nothing major.

had a good day. I'm feeling a bit bloated right now though and I'm hoping I don't see a gain tomorrow, but I'm thinking there might be. Calories were good today though. Did not overdo. In fact, I'm sitting here wondering if I should eat something else, but don't really feel like it.

B-leftover crab cakes (240)
L-Did not have
Snack-less than 1/4 cup mixed nuts (mostly walnuts) so will say (200)
Supper-Salmon, cucumber mixed with homemade mayo (approximately 200)
7 oz ginger ale (70)
some chocolate orange (240)

so looking at 950...I'll bump that to 1000 just to be on the safe side. Still low. May throw in a deviled egg in there in a bit. Just wish the bloated feeling would go away!

Took youngest to her Cookie Rally for girl scouts then ran some errands. Got some ink for my printer, went to two thrift stores and got: navy blue fabric that is going to become a suit at some point, two vintage pins, a pair of vintage earrings, and a pristine, light grey, fits like it was made for me, London Fog raincoat. Total cost:$22.00.

Currently I'm listening to the Saturday Night Fish Fry (Big Band) on NPR while knitting on a birthday gift for a friend. Makes me wish I was at the new house sitting by the fire!

Better to stay the same than go up, I think!

DD today.

Going to try for just water, but I'm sure I'll eat something at some point. It seems I lose better if I eat something on the DD's rather than fast the whole day. We'll see. Currently not hungry at all.

Ate too much at supper, but I know I did not go over. A lot of stuff I don't usually eat anymore though, so we shall see how my body does!

Not sweating it.

UD:

B-had a fried egg and some bacon (was out to eat). Should not have had the bacon. I feel quite icky.

L-Drank some ginger ale to help settle my stomach. It's helped a little.

Supper-will most likely be salmon cooked in coconut oil and some cucumber mixed with mayo.

Will probably have a deviled egg too, to get more calories in me.

DW: DNW (sort of)...I weighed a lot earlier than I usually do and was 205, but I didn't weigh at my normal time, so I'm not sure if this is a true indication or not.

I ate way too much meat yesterday. I just need to stay away from it. It doesn't make me feel good and it doesn't taste all that great. I also drank too much ginger ale yesterday, so good by soda (again). I was doing fairly well with it, limiting it to one or two on UD's (just 7 oz), but yesterday proved that no, I can't do that. So back to water only.

DD today. I am going to make a deviled egg here soon and that will be "brunch". If I'm lucky, that will be it today.

I usually weigh a pound or two more first thing in the morning than I do a couple of hours later. Even if I haven't eaten, drank, or "gone". Crazy. Sounds to me like you're doing just fine.

My eating has not been the best lately. Just not making good choices. My own fault, I know, but it ends now. I will lose this weight. I will make good choices. I will stick with what I know I can and can not eat to see results. I do have one UD coming up where I know I will eat poorly, but it can't be helped. I've been putting it off and putting it off, so I'm just going to get it over with!

Carol-thank you for the encouragement!

Monica-happy to see you back! DD today

DD:

Tummy not feeling the best, though I am a little hungry. Most likely will have a deviled egg. Later, I might have some pistachios if I still have them. It's going to be a long, long day.

Supper-not sure...probably going out so most likely a salad.

DNW over the weekend. Overslept both days.

DW:205.0

I'm bouncing. I like it and I don't. I like it because I know once I get past it, the weight should come off steadily again. I don't like it because it's just annoying! lol!

DD today:

I usually try and fast, but I was hungry when I woke up. Had a hardboiled egg. If I am hungry later I will have a tuna steak. If not, I'll save the tuna for tomorrow.
