UD!

And oh my goodness! I can't believe it! Are you ready? 214.4 for a loss of 2.8!!! I've never had that big of a drop. Ever. Woo Hoo!

We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Breakfast-1/4 pomegranate seeds, 2 eggs scrambled in coconut oil, possibly something else if I'm still hungry.

Lunch-I really want deviled eggs, but I'm having a tough time making mayo. I may just hard boil an egg and put it on a salad with some sunflower seeds.

Supper-salmon, sliced cucumber (or salad)

Snack (as needed)-sunflower seeds or more pomegranate seeds

Daily Weigh (DW): 213.8! That a total of 3.4 since Monday. I'm quite a happy camper. I just hope I have finally found something that works and that this trend continues.

DD today. The plan is lots of water and most likely a salad sometime today.

Thank you! I'm feeling really good!

Today I had lunch out, but got a salad with grilled chicken. I was a little higher than I would have liked (a little over 200), but nothing major.

Trying not to get excited about tomorrow's weigh in as I tend to lose around 5 pounds or so and then nothing.

UD today! Trying to figure out now what I'm going to eat and when. I really, really want some deviled eggs. Might go ahead and make some for breakfast and then maybe fish for lunch.

Our December Pack meeting is tonight (Cub Scouts) and everyone brings a dessert to share. Man is that going to be hard! But I will do it! I even thought about having a small piece of the fudge that I am bringing, but then thought "no...too much sugar. Not going to sabotage my weight loss just for a measly piece of fudge!"

Monica-I really am! I don't think I've ever been this determined before. Then I thought about it just a few minutes ago...since Monday I have lost 5.4 pounds. I have never lost this quickly before and it is definitely motivating me!

I posted the fudge recipe on your journal.

B-two deviled eggs made with two tsp mayo (trying to make my own but haven't succeeded yet)
snack-1/4 c pomegranate seeds

Nice loss this morning! The focus and determination are so crucial - I'm glad you're feeling it! Seeing someone else with laser sharp focus really helps me to hang on to that feeling too!

Thanks, Carol!

I do plan on eating "normally" at Christmas, but I will in no way, shape, or form eat like I did at Thanksgiving (and that wasn't too bad).

So, I've not been hungry since breakfast. I had those two deviled eggs (four halves) and pomegranate seeds and that was it. Around 1:30 I decided I need to eat something, so I made some sunbutter and ate that, mostly to get some calories in. Then I had fish and some cucumber mixed with a tsp of mayo for supper. Wasn't hungry, but it's an UD, so knew I needed to eat.

Went to the pack meeting and there were all kinds of goodies. Cookies and cupcakes galore. There were also some cut up oranges. I did have a few slices of orange (maybe equal to half an orange). Well, someone had brought blueberry muffins. There was a note with the muffins that said they were paleo friendly...nut free, grain free, corn free. I hemmed and hawed over them and then thought, what the heck.

Ugh. I looked the recipe up when I got home. Interestingly the main ingredient was plantains. And there were a lot of other interesting looking recipes on the site, but...the original recipe called for coconut oil, but I'm fairly certain I tasted butter. I could be wrong, but I don't think so. Also, there was an optional add in of 3-5 TBSP evaporated cane juice or date sugar and I'm pretty sure the evaporated cane juice was in there.

I feel rather uncomfortable now (and the muffin wasn't that big.) It was tasty though, and I'm not worried about calorie count at all as mine needed bumped up, but I think I need to (sadly) stay away from dairy.

I'm going to text the parent that made them and see what she used just to make sure.

Be interesting to see what the scale says tomorrow. I'm psyching myself up to not be disappointed if there is a gain. The muffin was my only transgression today and it was fairly healthy, so I feel good about that!

So happy to see that!!!!

Today is a DD. I'm going to try for a total fast (just water), but I will most likely be asked to go out to dinner tonight so will most likely have a salad. If I can hold off until then, it should be fine.

So motivated to keep it up!

I got hungry and ended up making some salmon patties. The total for the mix was probably 350...I will say 400 to be on the safe side....and it made 5 patties. So approximately 80 calories each and I ate two. So 160 so far. I think that will be it for the day, but I may have salad.

Great job on your losses!

Sounds like a good DD to me. I've yet to do a total fast!

Thanks, Carol! I try and keep my calories as low as possible on the DD's. One of these days I might manage a total fast, but so far, not yet!

I ended up eating one more pattie. Dang those things are tasty!

Looking forward to eating the other two tomorrow on my UD

I love deviled eggs I love eggs period! My mom gave me the cutest egg plate today! It's rectangular and holds twelve eggs (two rows of six). The two holders on the end are painted to look like snowmen! So adorable!

I ended up being out for awhile today, so I ended up eating 6 eggs total! Two at breakfast, two (hard boiled) eggs at lunch, and two hard boiled eggs at supper. I also had some pistachios and when I got home I ate the two salmon patties I had left from yesterday.

Marika-I sent you a pm

Love it!!! I just might be in onederland by the New Year! I am allowing myself to enjoy Christmas Day and to moderately enjoy Christmas Eve (we go out to dinner), but I will not over do.

Christmas Eve is a DD and I plan on having a crab casserole which is basically crab mixed with melted butter. If I don't eat the rest of the day, I think it will be okay.

Christmas Day I have a few treats set aside for myself and will have some of my moms stuffing because it is just the best!

Until then, just plugging away!

DD today and going to try had to make it a true DD, though I will most likely have a salad at some point.

Thanks, Carol! Yes, I am excited! I haven't been there in so long! 11 years at least!

Tonight was the Boy Scout Christmas Party. It was potluck. Everything smelled fantastic, but nothing really looked that good except two things: cocktail meatballs and this chicken dish a friend makes. I stayed away from the tables and then near the end, wandered over there. No meatballs, yeah! But I did have a bite (and I do mean one bite) of chicken. Other than that, just water today.

Looking forward to my UD tomorrow. I have a staff luncheon at the middle school where I volunteer. I signed up to bring deviled eggs because I know I can eat those There will also be fried chicken and baked chicken...I wouldn't mind the baked chicken, but I'm going to stay away as I don't know how it's prepared.

UD! Hungry today! That's a good thing as I've not been hungry lately.

Going to have some deviled eggs I know. And I think some salmon for supper!

Warning: This post has TMI

I did fairly well at the luncheon. I did have a piece of baked chicken, but it was small. I also had two whole deviled eggs (4 halves), some baby carrots, and a few cocktail meatballs. That's it and I was proud of myself. No dessert even! Well, about an hour later my tummy started to gurgle and I had to run to the restroom. It was either the chicken or the meatballs, but my money is on the meatballs. It's a shame because I really like them!

Bummer that whatever it was didn't agree with you. Sometimes I wish things would "go right through me" because I can't imagine you absorb all the calories when that happens. But that's not how I want to live either.
